It’s been an eventful week – but, before I get to that, I’d like to
cover a few other matters.
First off, I had an
idea some time ago to dowse for energy states around the world, with a view
to coming up with something like a weather map so people everywhere could see
where negative energy was building and do clearing, or where positive energy
was declining, and send such energy. I’ve not had the time to do this properly (and no-one else has volunteered to take it
on –and I don’t have the skill with creating contours to do something like this
easily or effectively anyway).
However, I have had one insight into one of the energy flows I want to
map, which is that the pain and misery resulting from war and its associated
demons of famine, poverty and disease in central Africa, negative energy that,
in my view, Western nations created, flows into the earth’s energy field in the
area south east of the Cape of Good Hope that I have been directed to send positive
energy to.
It’s sadly ironic that one group of people abusing another, or failing
to help another group of people, will eventually come back to affect the
wrongdoers – which is something I touched
on recently, and could have covered more in other areas of the world. I
shudder to think what white and some other Australians are creating for
themselves karmically by the appalling treatment of the indigenous people of this
land, and of refugees. (Perhaps being
trapped in terrible situations for long periods? Recession/economic depression,
anyone? On that, I wonder if the loss of dignity at airport security at present
is karmic return for Westerner’s robbing so many other people of their human
dignity for so many centuries?)
Here’s a link from the media which is relevant to these points: http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/aug/01/first-world-war-still-played-out-ukraine-syria-legacy-1914
Now, one of the areas mentioned in that link is Ukraine – which is not
helping itself by pressing its attacks on Donetsk, killing civilians (some possibly supporters of Kiev? Lessons
in how to radicalise a group of people, anyone?) and contributing to the
difficulty of accessing the MH17 site, rather than being patient, considering
human life and taking advantage of the international pressure that MH17 has led
to being placed on Russia.
Russia, for its part, is not helping itself by threatening to leave the
nuclear arms limitations treaties. Whilst there are those who admire Putin for
standing up to the West (see here),
even they’re concerned about what is happening in Donetsk.
So … what is happening? Well, this is, in my view, where the military
people around Putin need to be considered. Apparently US President John F
Kennedy had some sympathy and understanding for the biases of those in the
military during the Cuban missile crisis
(and I note that Kennedy had served in the US Navy during World War Part Two);
well, one can have sympathy and understanding for people, but that doesn’t
necessarily mean they are correct.
In the case of Russia, I suspect the issue is one of a combination of
believing rumours, and personal bias. The rumours are about the USA’s motivations;
the biases are that the Russians are assuming the yanks are as dead set on
getting an empire as some of the Russians are. Well, some yanks are, but most
aren’t. (Many, it seems to me, are consumed by the
struggle to simply survive, never mind any sort of imperial aspirations.)
This is a time for sowing seeds of positive doubt, and a more mature perspective
on conspiracy-theory type suspicions – which I cannot recall EVER being useful
in any way in the minds of those people,
by means of sending positive energy to them and their BPLF Guides, and clearing
negative units (energy, links, entities).
That’s what I’ll be aiming to do tomorrow, at any rate.
Now, turning from rumours to evidence, it also appears that Hamas is
guilty of using human shields – according to Amnesty International. See http://www.huffingtonpost.com/h-a-goodman/its-immoral-for-hamas-to_b_5629548.html.
On the other hand, questions are being raised about Israel’s military
competence (see http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jul/31/gaza-civilian-death-toll-military-training-experts),
and about the Israeli military’s morals by former Israeli soldiers (see here) -
which they have been doing for some time: see here. Locally, we’ve even had
a humorous article with a point on the situation: http://www.theage.com.au/comment/true-confessions-of-a-very-bad-jewish-boy-20140730-zyjq4.html.
What has happened? Why the decline in morality – and what do about from
a distant place, using only meditation and clearing of negative energy?
I’m not sure: I’ll be meditating on the matter, though.
Now, one thing about the situation is that the USA has a role in what’s
happening: http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jul/30/us-firm-condemnation-shelling-un-school-gaza.
But something about the USA, is that it is capable of learning. This video
of a statement by Obama is a major
step forward: http://media.theage.com.au/featured/obama-after-911-we-tortured-some-folks-5646012.html.
On learning, something that I think a fair few people have to learn is
to watch out for the Hydra
effect when taking action – whether that is assassinating people, changing the
economy, or personal decisions. The Hydra was a many headed monster from
Ancient Greek mythology which, when a head is cut off, grows two more back.
Is some cases, it is a matter of relearning – which, to change context,
is something I have observed in my day job over the decades. Many of the papers
presented at a major national conference are really just re-presenting lessons
which had been learned earlier. Maybe it is ego, but I think it is more likely
the hubris that sometimes goes with people applying a new word or phrase to
something, blind rejection of anything beyond a certain point (as a tongue-in-cheek comment, what stereotypical teenager - many are not like that! - ever thinks
their parents know anything, for instance? :) ) and a failure to listen to
and learn from more experienced, older people. (Mind you, there is some adaptation sometimes needed by those older
people to context … and I’ve yet to come across a management that had an
effective way of harnessing such knowledge – and could guarantee that it wouldn’t
affect the job security of those older workers … ) In the case of my
industry, this loss of knowledge also came about because of the massive loss of
people as a result of the changes introduced by Jeff Kennett in the 90s (which, ironically, is also the reason the
Hazelwood power station is still operating, if I may dive into another industry
for a moment). There was a need for some change (the industry had been too inflexible in terms of change), but you
don’t ‘fix’ something by throwing it out and then introducing something
completely new – which brings with it the necessity of debugging that new
system.
On a more positive note with this issue, I was pleased to come across
the “Life at 9” TV programme, part of
the ABC’s “Life At” series.
Finally! Something getting rid of the helicopter parenting / no-risk /
unwarranted praise / etc problems that are a modern day plague leading to some kids - including some I have lived with since moving off the boat - who are incredibly rude, arrogant and even violent.
I want to be clear, however, that I do NOT favour a generic return to ‘the
good old days’. I consider conventional
medicine is much improved, violence overall has reduced and there are other
benefits I consider it would be foolish to throw out with the bathwater – but there
are aspects of modern life that I do
consider merit criticism. Our excessive consumption in the West is one such
matter, for instance, as is our addiction to being online continuously and
living life at a frantic pace. Here are a few links on this which it might be
worth your while reading and thinking about
(I apologise about the LinkedIn article for those who are not on LinkedIn):

Related to that is the links about Theodism that I recently came across
in this
Wild Hunt post. I’m in favour of democracy - there is a place and, at
times, a need for hierarchy, but … that path has no appeal for me at all.
Oh! And I recently watched the film “Wrath
of the Titans”. Hollywood has a lot to answer for in the rubbish that is
portrayed about the Goddesses and Gods – well, mostly about Gods, as a result
of the male bias in that industry. Those Deities do NOT need belief, prayer or
being remembered in order to exist or do their work (neither is being remembered by people in ANY way, shape or form a
valid form of survival after death). The expression of such views are, in
my opinion, attempts to actively influence the views of an uncritical audience
towards atheism, or possibly neochristianity
(I’ve been re-watching some other films as well, and am appalled at the
anti-pagan / anti-witch line many of them take).
What to do about that?
Teach children (and
adults, for that matter) to think – which gets us back to the “Life At” series. (I did have one criticism of the programme: some rules which may seem silly
may actually have a valid basis – some safety rules, such as traffic laws, are
like that. And on that point, I was
pleased to see a pedestrian
who was foolish in Canberra lost his case against a driver that the pedestrian
had walked out in front of. The pedestrian was found to be at fault for not
taking care – he had ear plugs in, and as a result didn’t hear the car, which
was being driven correctly and properly. The pedestrian had to pay the legal costs
of the driver. Good.)
I’m going to end this post with a something from the activist part of
my world: a sorry tale of some people who tried to ‘befriend’ a trans woman,
but mixed incorrect gender references into their conversations with her. That’s
like trying to befriend an African person and dropping the N word into
conversations with the African person
(see this link as a starting point if you need any of the wrongness of this explained
to you).
I advised the woman that any person who needed an explanation as to
what constitutes basic manners, or appropriate behaviour around her, had failed
the basic eligibility for friendship – this is a matter of common sense: no explanation or discussion is required.
Some people are so stupid as to need explanations as to what constitutes
appropriate behaviour for friendship. Such people are not fit to be friends. Ultimately,
such people are morally – but not legally - guilty of attempted murder of the
person they claim to be trying to befriend. A bit like what Putin is also trying
to do to LGBT kids in Russia …
That’s a piece of advice I’ll be thinking of for my own life as well.

Please see here and my post "The
Death of Wikipedia" for the
reasons I now recommend caution when using Wikipedia. I'm also exploring use of
h2g2, although that doesn't appear to be as
extensive (h2g2 is intended - rather
engagingly - to be the Earth edition of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to
the Galaxy").

I started this blog to cover karmic regression-rescue (see here and here), and it grew ... See here for my group mind project, here and here for my "Pagans for Peace" project (and join me at 9 PM on Sunday, wherever you are, to meditate for peace), and here for my bindrune kit-bag. I also strongly recommend learning how to flame, ground and shield, do alternate nostril breathing, work with colour, and see also here and be flexible.
- One size does NOT fit all.
- Don't be mediocre - seek to excel.
- Gnwmythr's Stropping Strap: Occam's Razor only works if the simplest solution is actually recognised as being the simplest, rather than the one that best fits one's bigotries being labelled 'simplest'.
- Our entire life experience, with all the many wondrous and varied people, places and events in it, is too small a sample for statistical reliability about Life.
- May the world of commerce and business be recognised to be a servant, not a master, of the lives of people.
- Ban the dream interpretation industry!
- A home is for living in, not feeling, becoming or being rich or a “better” class than others.
- Being accustomed to interacting via certain rules makes those rules neither right nor universal.
- Like fire to the physical, emotions to the soul make a good servant, and a bad master.
- Expertise at intimacy and emotional happiness is generally not the same thing as spiritual growth.
- Any person, male or female, who has neither a serious health issue, dependents nor an agreement about study. yet expects their partner to work to support them, is, spiritually speaking, little more than a parasite.
- The means shape the end.
- BPLF restraint of uncooperatives is NOT an opportunity for revenge or getting even - even unconsciously.
- As words can kill, the right to freedom of speech comes with a DUTY to be as well-informed, objective and balanced as you can be.
- My favourite action movie of all time is "Gandhi", although I've recently come across "Invictus" and might put that one in to that category. However, I loathe the stereotypical action movie - and, for similar reasons, I loathe many dramas, which are often emotionally violent, more so in some cases than many war films.
- All of the above - and this blog - could be wrong, or subject to context, perspective, or state of spiritual evolution ...
Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be

Jesus loves you. Odin wants you to grow up.
We make our decisions. And then our decisions turn around and make us.
F.W. Boreham
Females, get over 'cute'. Get competent. Get trained. Get capable. Get over 'cute'. And those of you who are called Patty and Debby and Suzy, get over that. Because we use those names to infantalise females – we keep females in their 'little girl' state by the names we use for them. Get over it. If you want to be taken seriously, get serious.
Jane Elliott
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good [people] to do nothing.
(based on

The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.
Albert Einstein
We didn't inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we only borrowed it from our children
Antoine De Saint-Exupéry
Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar; it is not haphazard and superficial. It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Too much and too long, we seem to have surrendered community excellence and community values in the mere accumulation of material things. Our gross national product ... if we should judge America by that -- counts air pollution and cigarette advertising, and ambulances to clear our highways of carnage. ... Yet the gross national product does not allow for the health of our children, the quality of their education, or the joy of their play. It does not include the beauty of our poetry or the strength of our marriages; the intelligence of our public debate or the integrity of our public officials. It measures neither our wit nor our courage; neither our wisdom nor our learning; neither our compassion nor our devotion to our country; it measures everything, in short, except that which makes life worthwhile."
Robert F. Kennedy 1968
There are risks and costs to a program of action. But they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of comfortable inaction.
John F. Kennedy
If we could change ourselves, the
tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so
does the attitude of the world change towards him. … We need not wait to see
what others do. (Often degraded to “Be
the change you want to see in the world” – see here)
