Post No. 3,445 - some further life reflections: sequential challenges/struggles against nonBPM/evil (~563 words; 4 minutes)

Something I have done quite a bit of over the last few years is reflecting on this life's journey.

In many ways, one of, if not the, main aims in my life has been defeaating the evil known as neoliberalism

This is something that many others have been part of, and my role has probably been similar to that of a mid-level manager, in many ways.

For context, I had some experience of being a ... foot soldier (actually, I was quite seriously told I was cannon fodder) in the struggle against that form of totalitarianism known as communism in the USSR ... and my work on advanced forms of working with energy is for use by those in the next great struggle - whatever that will be (I won’t try to guess, let alone write about what I think it could be: it is not for me to know, and my perceptions are coloured by the current multiple, major struggles)

My life was not as well focused or clearly directed as I would have liked, but there were also other, personal lessons to go through (and, in some of those, I have realised that some warnings/admonishments/abjurations were from ... future me 😊 )

Be that as it may, in terms of the struggle against neoliberalism, the world is getting close to having a sufficiently adequate majority against that evil that it will be overcome - and, to quite an extent, much as with the vote that overthrew Orbán in Hungary, it is coming out of people who are experiencing the long- and thoroughly predicted shortcomings of that system.

One of the reasons I was so willing to resist neoliberalism was that its flaws were so blindingly obvious - as were the flaws of those greedy, gullible, egregiously amathiac fools who allowed themselves to be duped by its lies and scammed by the mirages of its agents and their too miraculous claims.

Unfortunately, while the evil system is starting to fall, the flaws that enabled it still at least partially still present ... I would suspect in a majority of the weak fools who enabled it.

And that is why these problems keep recurring - in a changed form, it is true, but, much as the struggle against bigotry will only be won when we address bigotry itself, rather than whatever form it has found to act through of late, so too will the sequence of spiritual and moral and character challenges only stop when we start addressing the personal flaws that make them possible.

PS - the separate, deeper, nuanced examinations of spirituality, psychic matters, and consciousness based approaches to UAPs/UFOs is helping the world to move towards addressing those flaws, but that work - excellent thought it is - is not yet being done at the necessary scale.

Finally, one of the many problems of heavy psychic work is that it is not conducive to normal human connections, which means I am entering the final stages of my life, with its physical struggles to stay alive (breathing is an effort, at times) with no support - and, in fact, owing to some all too human decisions by me, with still active obligations that will see me going back to work.

Life is a mix of the great and small, and we can fail or flourish on everything on that scale ...

Possible flaws

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:

  • there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”
  • I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our MÓ•gan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).

Post No. 3,204 - Personal update and ... choosing better politicians

I have had some good things happening, but to put them in context, I need to first note that I have, in general, overdone the extent of support I give others - I don’t regret others getting the help, but the price paid by me (including in terms of personal health) has been significant - including with regard to the psychic work I have done.

My main problem has been too much empathy.

There have been others advocating for me to do less, but as those people were mostly extremely selfish IPOCs who lacked all credibility, I ignored them - and would again, if I had this life over.

If, on the other hand, rather than saying well Im sorry, of course (which was usually a blatant, performative lie) “but one has to ...”, they had been saying things like “I have found when my energy is low, I can direct them to help from _, then I would have found them credible ( they were referring to personal experience, had none of the tough love / have-to-be-hard psychopathic rubbish, and provided a realistic, viable option) and likely would have followed - or at least tried - their solution.

As it is, my personal circumstances are worse than I would like - especially my health. I cannot undo what I have done, and, despite wanting to slow down and take life a bit easier, realistically I probably have another decade or so of work to do - the need exists, the response so far by the rest of the world is not adequately addressing the needs I see, and I can make a contribution towards (but NOT do entirely) addressing those needs, so, irrespective of my mistakes to date, I must, IMO, act.

Today, however, I had an assessment for aged care help, and am likely to get some help with things like housework.

That was a major experience for me: after decades of abuse from bigotted bureaucrats, I found people who were pleasant and helpful, and, after around half a century (after I moved out from my adoptive family’s home) of doing whatever I needed mostly by myself (with some notable, still continuing support from my former partner and friends), I am (probably) going to get some help.

It's like driving on a rough road in the fog, thinking the road is going to lead to a cliff or similar, when the fog clears and the road becomes a smooth highway ...

There is some psychological adjustment required as the sense of wonder clears ...   and I have not forgotten many people in the world cannot access such help.

And that leads in to what is actually the main point of this post:

choosing better politicians

As a first point, that isn’t always possible - not all nations are democracies, and many aren't even partial democracies: I’m not going to address those nations in this post (but the work of this blog should be used to help improve those situations and move them towards democracy ... and improve all democracies as well), and will limit myself to nations that have reasonably genuine elections.

In those nations, I have watched too many politicians flounder on taking firm action on the climate crisis and other human rights issues.

Part of that problem is lack of knowledge/comfort with those issues (which can be addressed by educating them), and another key part of the problem is getting elected/re-elected.

The latter leads to some politicians juggling what they think is needed to get elected/re-elected, and those decisions are based to quite an extent on the noise they get.

If they “hear” fossils (fossil fuel companies) being loud, possibly with money, and either nothing (because of amathiac cynicism) or just a few angry rants on the other side, they will likely choose the side of the fossils - and it doesn’t matter what cognitive dissonances they have used, the fact is we just lost an elected representative.

What is needed is more effective advocacy which includes encouraging small steps towards doing what is in the best interest of decency, the human species, and all life on this planet.

MPs are human: be a light of relief and gentle pressure in an ocean of anger and bullying, and be in this for the long game - build a relationship so they (or, more accurately, their staff) do not cringe when they see your email in their inbox, and they'll be in a better frame of mind when you do have to push for something they don’t like.

There is a further complication to this, which is the role of political parties. For those, I suggest joining and getting involved and being active - especially on their membership policy committees.

That also is a long term exercise ...

PS - also consider this:   “History Tells Us How the Ukraine War Could End (it's worse than you think)”   https://youtu.be/nDqn27gl2vg   An excellent consideration of history and psychopathy, and human failings when facing psychopaths
