Post No. 2,865 - Connecting to spirit

There are a range of techniques for connecting to the nonphysical - rituals, meditations, etc.

Those techniques tend to build up a certain nonphysical strength as they are used more - almost like creating a group mind (aka egregore) or thought form

Stronger techniques may be easier for new people to connect to and use, as they are not creating the totality of the connection from scratch ... provided the nature of the connection is something that is compatible with them.

At this point, I'll remind you, Dear Reader, that not being compatible with something does not automatically mean it is evil (although rarely that may be the case - more often it is people camouflaging their personal dislike/pettiness under a veneer of something that is supposed to be better): it is more like two colours/flavours/scents that are fine on their own, or in other combinations, but not in that combination.

That may mean people are sometimes better off working on their own, or using techniques that are unorthodox - although protection and checking should always be used.

This rough sketch illustrates the concept I am referring to for an individual:

This is what the situation could be like in a group context, showing some of the individual variation, and that one person may be personally better off alone - although they should, in my opinion, consider working in a group anyway, for the benefit of others:

Having now made this post I may post about some of the more unorthodox techniques I use that work well for me because it is easier for me to adapt something I have used for half a century than try to learn something completely unfamiliar (and likely that has no resonance for me)

(I have actually posted quite a few ... “unorthodoxies” over the years already.)

Possible flaws

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:

  • there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”
  • I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).

Post No. 1,027 - Not the Weekly News

I’ll begin this post with my experiences of rescuing  uncooperatives from this past week.
I found two out on the astral: one incarnate, and one discarnate. Both looked strong, but most of that was due to the energy they were generating and then harvesting from people they controlled (which is something that, sadly, is also done in the physical world). So, the approach I adopted was to find and follow the nonBPM links (I must write a definition of that … ) they had to people (there were dozens – these influences were, on the receiving end, relatively minor – people getting crabbier than usual, being less inclined to “give the benefit of the doubt”, etc; also, I could do a lot of this in bulk – fortunately :) ) being controlled, and then:
  • clear (i.e., dissolve with BPM energy – agape love, if you prefer) the nonBPM links;
  • give the now former victims healing;
  • strengthen the BPM links (yes, such do exist: links are NOT always something bad) between the former victims and their BPM Guides (these links “looked” as if they had parasites on them, which were interfering with the free passage of clear BPM energy along them).
That left the original uncooperatives with the anger and bitterness that had caused them to become uncooperatives using psychic control in the first place, but their problems were not being supercharged by nonBPM (aka “negative”) energy that they were getting others to create and were then harvesting. (Psychic self defence is important not only for your sake, but also for that of others.) For the residual problems, I left there entities to their BPM Guides – and on that, ALWAYS remember that there are many, many, many very skilful people out there also doing this, and it is best to work cooperatively and respectfully with them (if you need to, consider not bragging about what you can do as sign of “true mastery” … ).
Actually, that reminds me of something I’ve been meaning to write for a while: why I’m (now :) ) not worried about not having an apprentice to pass on the things I can’t write about – and, in many traditions, finding an apprentice is a major obligation. The reason I’m not so concerned about that is that I have been reminded – by my BPM Guides - that people can be taught from spirit (i.e., the astral). As an example, Charmaine Wilson wrote, in "Spirit Whispers" (pub. Fontaine Press, Fremantle, 2006, ISBN 9780980417098), that, when her psychic gift was being developed, she thought she was being contacted mentally by some sort of government agent, and was thus going through a psychic boot camp: it was only later that she discovered she was actually being contacted by BPM Guides.
Another thing that reminds to write about is my poor view of TV critics. Apart from the issue of personal tastes/preferences being ignored by such people, as I work my way through the TV series Grimm I’ve also read a few comments and critics who tend – as with Buffy, the Vampire Slayer – tend to reduce everything to emotions as a result of human interactions, and view what is being shown as symbolic of same, and nothing else. Well, that may well be the intention of the creators of those shows, but those of us who do serious psychic work may well have come across something similar in non-physical realities. I can understand non-psychic and possibly sceptical people not knowing that, but it is a limitation – and one of the many reasons I make my own decisions about films, rather than relying on reviewers.
This bias is also a reason that many of such series – in my opinion – go off the rails. I enjoyed the early episodes of Heroes and Fringe for example, but once the drama writers got away from what I could relate to into conspiracy nut territory, they lost me.
One of the other things that loses me from such series (and I know that I’m in a tiny minority, and writers have to stick to drama because that is what “sells” – and, on that, I know people who claim to be anti-violence, and profess to dislike war movies, who will watch dramas that are emotionally – and sometimes physically – violent [such as “Outlander”]: add emotion, and you’ve got an unspiritual winner) is when good things get misrepresented as bad – such as the protective and rescuing Deity Yinepu (known by most through His Greek name: Anubis) being portrayed as bad in the TV series “Stargate” (which, I suspect, was part of the nonBPM directed backlash against efforts to prepare humans for contact with BPM extraterrestrials) and the similar perversion of the protective and beneficially transformative Wolfsangle into a sign of something bad on “Grimm” –although, with the latter, I suspect they may have known what they were doing, as the symbol was turned sideways – much as the Nazis perverted the original Hindu swastika into the perverted crooked swastika, and perverted the rune Sowelu / Sigel into something which was its opposite by doubling it up.
I also noted that, during the portrayal of a lead female’s character “becoming bad” (which shows, incidentally, that it is possible for events and change circumstances to overtake and change the best of lessons and plans), the issue was presented as (to some extent) her becoming addicted to, and perverted by, power, that was the experience of many men in society who are socialised into an expectation of, and addiction to, power and influence –it would be nice to see that flaw in how men are raised shown, as well as showing that women are equally as deserving of being strong – which was the great strength of ”Buffy”, a strength that has been pretty much ignored since then …
(I also have a problem with promoting the line that it is somehow better to do things outside the law – which is a perfect example of the outcome of being focused on emotions without any balancing thought process.)
Winding the snark meter back a little, I’ll re-emphasise that film/TV critics and drama writers, as with many other people, have limited experience – no matter how many emotional experiences they have had – because their experience has only been viewed through the prism of emotions, and leaves out vast swathes of other parts of reality (such as the astral, psychism,  etc), as well concepts (love is can be viewed as a concept, but there are also concepts like freedom, respect, equality, etc that get ignored  EXCEPT in war movies) and spirituality.
OK, I’ll take a deep breath, and move on :)
One of the other things I mentioned was conspiracy “theories”. one of the big problems with people trying to deal with this – and with the addiction to violent extremism (VE) – is the deliberate denial of people’s desire to be part of something “bigger”, possibly to give themselves a sense of purpose, meaning or value. Some of that should be dealt with by dealing with personal psychological issues, but it is largely a valid need (and one NOT met by “but isn’t your family that bigger thing?”, let alone company profits or economic performance: nationalistic fervour is also not a constructive nor appropriate was of meeting that need [in fact, a lot of nationalistic / jingoistic fervour is actually the same energy as that behind VE, but expressed less violently or using a more sheep-like mentality). Part of beating both conspiracy nuttiness and the attraction to VE is dealing constructively, respectfully (which means: don’t impose your own view of what “should” give a sense of meaning/connection/being part of something “bigger”), and effectively with that need. (Digression: anyone who tries to justify something  and this applies to a lot of housework and gardening – with “it gives me something to do” is an unthinking idiot.)
I was very pleased recently to hear a radio programme (I’m quite liking having a less old car with a working radio) which dealt with this need in - the context of aged care. The programme discussed meeting people’s spiritual needs from the perspective of being connected – to people, Nature, Deity, etc – in an inclusive way.
It had an Abrahamic bias, was silent (and therefore inherently flawed) on LGBTI matters, and also exhibited no definite awareness of Pagan perspectives (all of which I have asked about, but no reply to my email as yet), but it is a great step forward. For more on this, see here.
The TV series “Grimm” has also got me thinking (because of “Aunt Marie’s” caravan – or “trailer”, as they call it) about building a “tiny home” purely for the purpose of my psychic/spiritual work – and, perhaps, my creative pursuits …
Oh yes - I’ve been thinking quite a bit about rents and housing prices, of late, and my conclusion is that the only way they will start coming down to realistic levels is for some ethical builder/owner to decide they are rich enough/don’t want that part of their income to be blood money, and start charging lower rents (rather than the “s***w people for what one can” approach behind “commercial rent”) and sell houses by direct negotiation at a price with a modest aka reasonable level of profit (which I personally would interpret as 10%). Who will be first cab up to the decency-and-save-their-moral-soul rank?
Now, I’ve recently been able to get a more recent version of Geoffrey  Robertson’s “Crimes Against Humanity: the Search for Global Justice”: the 3rd edition (pub. The New Press, New York, 2006, ISBN-13 978-1-59558-071-1; there is also a 4th edition).
Wow.
Yes, well, I suppose I should use more than one word to review the book.
Oh, wow.
Still not enough? Very well, then :)
So, more seriously, this book covers the issues in the original edition, and has been extended to cover all the human rights issues that were brought out as a result of the terrible tragedy of the terrorist attack known generally as “9/11” and the flawed response afterwards – including the tragedy of the invasion of Iraq (I maintain that the invasion of Iraq was never justifiable on claims of weapons of mass destruction, but the invasion of the then-failed-stated of Afghanistan was justifiable – but the attempted restoration of a healthy society was stuffed up by biases, limited and woolly thinking, and the invasion of Iraq).
I haven’t fully read this book yet (it is MUCH thicker!), but I have sampled from all chapters, and am looking forward to doing so.
I commend the book – or, even better, the later edition, perhaps – to anyone who is interested in making this world a better place.

I am revamping my former website, and getting at least one other underway.

I started this blog to cover karmic regression-rescue (see here and here), and it grew ... See here for my group mind project, here and here for my "Pagans for Peace" project (and join me for a few minutes at some time between 8 and 11 PM on Sunday, wherever you are, to meditate-clear for peace), and here for my bindrune kit-bag. I also strongly recommend learning how to flame, ground and shield, do alternate nostril breathing, work with colour, and see also here and be flexible.
May the best in me, my Higher Self,
and those of the Clear Light who assist me,
help me to keep myself grounded, centred and shielded,
to be Balanced and a Fulcrum of Balance,
a centre of Balanced Positivity and Spiritual Maturity,
with my aura continuously cleansed, cleared and closed,
repelling all negative or unwanted energies,
whilst allowing positive, balancing and healing energies in and through.

Post No. 843 - the Weekend

Well, as a result of not having done a Psychic Weather Report this morning, I had the energy to go out today (Sunday) - I'd gone out and about a bit yesterday, as well. I posted at my Musings of Kayleen blog about using "Zen navigation" to find the wonderful Maranoa Gardens yesterday, but there was more to it.

I sometimes also use "Zen navigation" - actually, it's really more a case of following one's intuition / BPM Guidance than the original meaning of Zen navigation, from the Dirk Gently (who is a "holistic detective") novels - to find places or people who need help. Yesterday, for example, before finding the gardens, I spent a fair bit of time driving around side streets of Kew and Balwyn looking for a place where someone needed a boost (the energy that was needed felt - to me - a little like teaching someone how to do the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP) - or at least making the Sign of the Enterer). Once I felt comfortable that I had done the energy work required (without ever seeing anyone physically), I then felt able to use my adaptation of Zen navigation to find a place for myself. I've done that "drive and find a place that needs energetic help and do the helpin' " a few times (a few times that indicated that people I knew needed help - the reason for which I found out later, so I have had some verification about this).

Today, I decided to go to a "psychic expo". Now, as it turns out, there may have been another festival on today, one that had lectures that I may have been interested in, but:
(a) the event I went to had people I could catch up with who I'd met at other events (although that might have applied at the other event also);
(b) the mother of someone I know was there, and seeing a friendly face gave her the confidence to get a reading;
(c) I came across someone doing rune readings. I didn't have the money to get a reading (move and legal stuff with the estate and so on), but he works occasionally at a place not too far from work if I want to - and I could always see him again at other expos. (The store owner has an inactive blog, but I liked the posts on ethics here and here. There's a bit about the psychic I saw here.) That also was a useful reminder that, at some stage, I should get my book on runes finished: I think the section on micro-runes might be useful;
(d) a woman there had a companion dog which needed a little aware interaction which I was able to provide (I don't consider myself a "dog" person, and I'm definitely not an expert on dogs, but I'm aware, for instance, that dogs - and cats - like to "read" where you've been with their sniffing, so the best thing I could do for this dog was stand quietly and patiently while the lovely old dog enjoyed sniffing and discovering about our pets and where I'd been etc - then I gave pats and skritches where the dog wanted. The dog sense all this potential - we connected from about half across the hall, and his tail was wagging as I walked up. Then again, maybe I just had my "animals and kids" aura on again, as while I was waiting for my lunch meal - see the next dot point - a bunch of kids who were writing down the names of rabbit posters around the place [I suppose some sort of sugar-free Easter or pre-Easter game] they plopped themselves down at my table to catch up with their writing); and
(e) even better than all that (yes, I am being tongue in cheek here), I was able to order a favourite meal off the "Senior's Menu" without any question or quibbling - so my wrinkles have pub cred :)
So ... although I haven't done my main task for today (i.e., the Psychic Weather Report), I have been able to balance some "me" time with doing some work to help others. It was, therefore, a good day.

Please see here, here, here and my post "The Death of Wikipedia" for the reasons I now recommend caution when using Wikipedia. I'm also exploring use of h2g2, although that doesn't appear to be as extensive (h2g2 is intended - rather engagingly - to be the Earth edition of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy").
[3] I apologise for the formatting: it seems Blogger is no longer as WYSIWYG as it used to be, and there are a lot of unwanted changes to layout made upon publishing, so I often have to edit it immediately after publishing to get the format as close to what I want as possible.

  • If your “gut” (your instinct/intuition) is telling you something is wrong, but logic and the available evidence is saying otherwise, the proper conclusion to draw is that you need better, more personally credible evidence. Your “gut” could be wrong, right, or missing the nuances / “shades of grey” . So could the available evidence.
