Post No. 1,240 – Gnwmythr’s News Ed. No. 241

For the sake of my health, until I retire or change to an easier day job , I have cut back these posts.
This week’s work has been affected by a work trip at relatively short notice.
Information and Summary of News with Opinion / Advocacy / Analysis:
Notes:
(1) I am NOT a journalist, and make NO claims to objectivity or freedom from bias.
(2) Furthermore, I do not hold copyright to any of the articles I link to, nor do I claim authorship, except for those links to material I have written for this and my related blogs, and my commentary in these posts. (I try to make sure quotes are shown using quotation marks.)
The purpose of posting these news links is not only to inform; it is also to
     stimulate a connection to:
      - nonBPM units that need to be cleared, and
      - BPM units that need to be strengthened,
     so that you can do the clearing / strengthening that is required.
That only works if you don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by this, so take it in small chunks if you need to, but remember to actively clear and heal! … including yourself.
As part of that, note that there are key uncooperatives to be cleared (rescued): you should ONLY address those that are within your ability – if you get a sense (e.g., through meditation) or are told by your BPM Guides/Higher Self to back off, do so, and content yourself with clearing the smaller nonBPM units within your capability – which will weaken those uncooperatives. More importantly, there are many people doing this sort of work, and others are quite likely to be able to clear the uncooperatives concerned.
That is also one of the many reasons it is OK to take a break or cut back this work if you need – in fact, doing so will help you deal with the next point, which is …
… the energies we use and manifest in our daily lives contribute to the larger soup of energies that influence world events, so it pays to address those as well, to the extent that one can, or to at least stop oneself projecting them into the psychic soup.
The reminders / explanations about Sunday’s meditation-clearing are here;     see also here,     here,     here,     (here and also here and here are interesting),     here, here,     here,     and     this post reminds us to be patient and persistent, like a “speeding oak”.
There are some notes at the end of this post about other options for those who do not like this way of working.
Finally, one of the biggest concerns I have about spirituality in the world now is that the concept of agape type love has been perverted into both a quest for emotional warm fuzzies, and an excuse to avoid doing the hard work of improving oneself and all that one does. On that, it may help to consider the simplification that one cannot love perfectly until one has learned how to perfect. (And one of the concerns I have about those resisting change is that they are so shallow / superficial /stupid that they thing their actions have ONLY the meaning of their [limited] conscious intention … ) See also here and here.
The themes that come to mind for my work this week, after I review all this news, are:
(a)   based on my interpretation of information here and here with Uranus in Aries contributing to fresh and possibly radical starts (until March 2019), and Pluto in Capricorn contributing to a transformation of power and business (and careers) (until some date in the Year 2024), conditions are ripe for a change for the better in world politics;
(b)   there is an enormous need to clear nonBPM energy – the thought forms, unattached energy and scars of the collective unconscious created by millennia of violence, including spirit rescue, and healing the warped views, seemingly “inherent” biases, and other damage created. Also, remember:

(1) the counter to fear is genuine  EQ and clear thinking, expressed through calm, de-escalating speech,

(2) where problems exist, advocating for BPM responses, and being as BPM as one can be, are constructive solutions,

(3) peace is powerful, but it is a process requiring patient, persistent and nuanced nurturing, and a blend of conventional spiritual work, clearing nonBPM units, and physical world activism;
(c)   dealing with the 45th “President” (i.e., CEO) of the USA requires:

1. eroding
(i.e., slow, patient and persistent clearing of the little bits one can SAFELY cope with – remember, you are but one of many) the nonBPM influences feeding his arrogance and mind-set, and strengthening the that person’s BPM Guides and giving those BPM Guides whatever BPM help they need to present a BPM alternative to promote a change of heart,

2. lifting the nonBPM influences from the shoulders of that person’s marginal supporters, allowing them to “come to their senses”,
which may result in them feeling bewilderment/shame, and simultaneously strengthening the BPM influences around them (e.g., their BPM Guides) to counter them backsliding,

3. physical world activism
(especially education) – e.g., this. As well as doing what one can there, help those who are doing this work (e.g., sending them “positive vibes”) and look for nonBPM blockages that can be cleared (e.g., setting up a BPM vortex above meetings to draw away external nonBPM influences/energies/units, so that the audience can listen as they are, without any obsession/possession);
(d)   the major events this week are:

(i)   as attraction to violence continues to be inadequately addressed and the search for
humans rights abusers continues, the risks of mass atrocities in   Syria, Burundi and Guatemala,

(ii)   ongoing violent conflicts and crises in Syria, Afghanistan, Mexico, Iraq, Burma, Somalia, South Sudan, Nigeria, Central African Republic, Libya, Sudan (Darfur and South Kordofan), Yemen, Egypt (Sinai), Kurdistan, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Mali, DR Congo, Burundi, Kashmir, Baluchistan (Pakistan and Iran), India (Maoist and other insurgencies), the Maghreb (Africa), Ukraine, and elsewhere;

(iii) refugee and humanitarian crises;   -   the political madness of regimes with authoritarian leaders – and all who put or keep them there;   -   and, specific to this week,     a reminder to NOT “sell your soul”, and a call to focus on being a better, not a good person;     a call to ratify the Genocide Convention;     continuation of the mistake of thinking people are possessions
(even if one is not aware of making that mistake);     continued resentment at the sensation of loss that comes with achieving true equality;     continued belief in rumours, innuendo, gossip, and damaging, harmful, and vindictive social myths;     some steps away from violence;     more lip service rather than commitment and dedication to true and lasting BPM change;     more addiction to exercising power over land, people, and other resources;     arrogance, hubris and pride;     denial of the crisis of climate change;     refusal to make changes;     sadism;     lack of empathy / compassion;     fear of being tainted by closeness to or acceptance of difference;     failure to hold abusers of power to account;     powerbrokers’ creation of systems to limit change;     hypocrisy and double standards;     bullying;
(e)   may all people have and use BPM intellectual rigour, self-awareness and self-honesty, and the BPM courage to be BPM vulnerable and BPM honest;
(f)   may all people have a sufficiently long term and objective BPM perspective to never take a short-term unethical, selfish, or harmful to others course of action;
(g)   may all people BPM revel in the diversity of experience, people, and all life;
(h)   may all people think before they post, speak or otherwise participate in the evil of gossip;
(i)   may all people be in BPM touch with their BPM consciences and BPM act accordingly;
(j)   may people always call out nonBPM acts, words and thoughts – including of themselves to themselves;
(k)   may all people never lose sight of the specialness of all life, and never count the blessedness that is another life – human or otherwise - as a thing, whether to possess or dehumanise and/or abuse;
(l)   may all people allow themselves to be BPM healed, and act appropriately when they are in need of same;
(m)   may all people be BPM;
It is absolutely VITAL that this psychic / metaphysical / spiritual work be performed non-violently and as is for the Highest Spiritual Good – which is part of being BPM – on all levels and in all ways. Always remember (see here): Do you fight to change things, or to punish? See also here, here, here, here, here, and my comments about “authentic presence” in this post.
News and other matters from this past week follows:
   news items are presented in the following sections (there is overlap, and items may appear more than once):
    -   Permanent and Thematically Arranged News,
    -   Location Based News,
    -   (from a range of) Other Sites (if I have any this week);
   opportunities/good news (in my opinion) are shown in green;
   comments (by me) are shown in purple; and
   WARNING: some of these links may contain triggers around issues such as violence, sexual assault, discrimination, etc.
Permanent Issues and Thematically Arranged News:
  • Permanent issue: may all actual and potential BPM Leaders be kept BPM safe, including keeping them undetectable to the nonBPM and keeping all their Significant Others inviolable against being used for indirect  psychic attack, and may they have all the BPM resources (including an assured income, given the power that nonBPM forces have in the structures of the material world), opportunities and assistance (including so-called “good luck”) for them to be BPM effective at influencing the world’s direction, development and unfoldment, all as is for the Highest Spiritual Good;
  • Permanent issue: may all humans recognise, irrespective of the appearance of difference, the essential shared humanness of other people, the inherent resilience, the dynamic power, the strength of BPM collaboration, and the opportunities of having a diverse, inclusive and welcoming population, and may all people choose fairness, when such decisions are before them;
  • Permanent issue: may all actual and potential BPM  Violence Interrupters (and Interrupters of hate / fear / anger) of be kept BPM safe, and may they have all the BPM opportunities and assistance (so-called “good luck”) for them to be BPM effective at containing and stopping – along the lines of the Cure Violence model - the spread of violence (and hate / fear / anger), all as is for the Highest Spiritual Good;
  • Permanent issue: may all humans choose to live modestly – to forgo outdoing others, or trying to have more than they need - for the sake of an easier, more manageable life, if they cannot do it for the sake of the planet, may we all exercise our human characteristics of reason, self discipline and improvement to overcome the often evil flaw of seeking social status;
  • Permanent issue: may all humans be in better communication with the better parts of their nature – especially those who need that more than other, better people;
  • Matters warranting particular attention:
         this week on reversing the deliberate, well-funded, long-term strategy (from about the 70s) to make self-interest seem normal and a commitment to fairness (such as former US President Franklin D Roosevelt’s Four  Freedoms) an aberration (see also here, here, and here) :     the entirety of this blog and all other spiritual work and physical activism I and many others do;     a call to give ourselves room to grow on the topic of “being a good person”;     a notorious right-wing provocateur has been blocked from entering Australia on character grounds;     NEVER SELL EMPLOYERS YOUR SOUL (“I was busting my ass for a $100 gift card so the general manager could make his bonus targets worth tens of thousands of dollars. I still don’t know who I was madder at: him for trying to manipulate us, or me for buying into it”);
       on the Rohingya  genocide this week:
       -   “in a time of rising xenophobia, [it is] more important than ever to ratify [the] Genocide Convention” (45 nations - 20 from Africa, 18 from Asia [including burma] and 7 from the Americas - haven’t);
       on other matters requiring particular attention:
       -   sadly, this week, I found nothing in the news on Afghanistan;
       -   as a judge describes a man who assaulted his wife over a dowry as “living under a rock”, concerns over the possibility that men’s groups could foster violence;     a woman whose children were murdered by her estranged husband is working to help others with their grief –see also here;     a “thriller in which a group of Australian surfers and a boat carrying refugees are caught in a storm off Indonesia has won the inaugural Staunch prize, which goes to a thriller ‘in which no woman is beaten, stalked, sexually exploited, raped or murdered’ ”;     despite two in five women being sexually or physically assaulted, four in tend Australians WRONGLY think accusations of sexual assault are revenge or made up for child custody battles;     a call for communal support and response to trolls;     as another example of Parliamentary thuggery against women that is not accepted in the society Parliament claims to represent (although I’ve encountered many of the glib apologies that many people think allows them to continue being an abusive bigot in “the broader society”) is met by a principled stand, a female MP quits her "homophobic, anti-women, climate-change deniers" conservative party (marked by her former male colleagues getting up and walking out because they think ‘loyalty’ justifies abuse, and moronic remarks about ‘cutting it’ in politics that make the mistake of thinking an abusive atmosphere is necessary – they probably also believe in the myth of meritocracy), debate “more broadly about the experience of female politicians” (including argument that “the issue was not isolated to any one particular party”), and concern that these events show it is “women’s fate to be diminished and objectified”;     to make peace processes more inclusive, increased participation by women and other excluded groups has been emphasised for decades, as well as the need to adopt a gender perspective within peace processes. However, the discussion has tended to focus on counting women and treating women’s participation as synonymous with a gender perspective. Defining what a gender perspective is and how it could be applied throughout a peace process has remained largely unexplored.” This paper explores this;     a global campaign against gender-based violence”;     “violence against politically-active women is found in all political systems, not just dictatorships”;
       -   tensions over Crimea have led to Ukraine cutting off water, the Russian navy firing on and seizing Ukrainian naval ships in a narrow waterway and then subjecting the crews to show trials, followed by martial law being declared in Ukraine, a ban on Russian men in Ukraine (perhaps understandable, given past events), and growing concerns in Europe – see also here (POTUS45 has also cancelled a meeting with Russia’s President, but that may be for other reasons . . . );
       -   as information is published on 467 ways to die on a warming planet, POTUS45 has rejected US government expert’s warnings on climate change, saying “he did not believe the economic impacts would be destructive” . . . ;     as Australia is identified as being among a number of countries currently not on track to meet their unconditional Paris carbon emissions reduction targets by 2030, an inspiring student rally in my nation for the climate has been met by acclamation and, on the part of the homophobic, anti-women, climate-change deniers neoliberal government, moronic remarks;     “is it time to legally acknowledge those displaced by climate disruption?” (YES! – in fact, it should have been done at least a decade ago!);
       -   in a move with chilling connections to notorious racist groups, nooses have been found in a US city;
       -   POTUS45 “has defended the use of tear gas [without warning] at the Mexican border to repel a crowd of migrants that included barefoot, crying children as well as angry rock-throwers” (some are being helped to return to their place of origin by the UN, and the situation has been compared to Gaza));     a US border patrol officer who was acquitted of murder has also been acquitted of involuntary manslaughter, although involuntary manslaughter may be an option for an incident which left a youth in Mexico dead, with ten out of eleven bullets in his back . . . ;     how a climate change-fuelled drought [and] US-fed violence are driving thousands from Central America;
       -   after a comedian tweeted a threat to “body slam” POTUS45, he was visited - at home - by the US Secret Service who pointed out the potential for his words to “incite violence” (and asked when he had last “fired a gun”), leading to the comedian calling on his followers to “be responsible”, and sympathising with the Secret Service over POTUS45 not listening to them when they had the same conversation with him (strewth. Yes, words do matter, and EVERYONE, not just public figures, needs to be careful – so, if the Secret Service has not had the same conversation with POTUSA45, they are – personally, morally, and spiritually, in my opinion, although not legally – hypocritical, and open to concerns that they are supporting a [violent] tyrant) ;
       -   as allegations emerge that POTUS45’s lawyers “have reportedly been briefed by an attorney for . . . former [POTUS45] campaign chairman’s discussions with [the] special counsel”, POTUS45's “former long-time personal lawyer has admitted to lying to the US Congress in a guilty plea” (negotiations about a Moscow Trump Tower were underway during POTUS45's Presidential bid), leading to POTUS45 to “lash out at Mr Cohen as a ‘liar’ and ‘weak person’ “ - see also here and here;     fact checking POTUS45’s claims about Saudi Arabia and the murder of Saudi-born US journalist Jamal Khashoggi;
       -   the UAE has released a British academic it considers a “spy” . . .  – see also this, and remember those still in UAE “jails” or otherwise silenced;
       -   in shades of Pinochet (and hopefully not Sudan’s war criminal president Bashir), “Argentine prosecutors are considering charging Saudi Arabia’s crown prince . . . with war crimes and torture if he flies to Buenos Aires for the G20 summit”;
         upcoming events (opportunities to do BPM clearing etc):   the G20 conference,   the COP 24 climate change conference;
         this week’s atrocity alert at R2P lists   Syria, Burundi and Guatemala;
  • With regard to democracy (which can be measured [as can goodness],     requires  protection of minorities and the vulnerable   -   and remember Gandhi’s question about whether one is fighting to change things, or to punish,     and     note this list of 198 methods of nonviolent action),     freedom,     governance (e.g., here, here, here and here, and see also here)     and     ethics:
    Note: I have a section specifically for the 45th US “President” (i.e., CEO)  below
       analyses, research and commentary this week include:
       -   from Yemen, “lessons [for the USA] on the strategic perils of partnered operations”;     the downside of a “good old-fashioned electoral drubbing”;    an opinion that mental health and personal stories are “not taboo” on a professional social media network;     an opinion of the attributes people want to see in leaders;     a panel discussion . . .  the state of the world today—the risks and challenges, and the prospects for peace and security” – see also here;     “SIPRI film series on the security risks of newly emerged technologies”;     a call for “global leadership to be stepped up, ‘at a time of declining global trust’ ” (“those left behind by globalisation are losing trust in governments and institutions”);     the ILO’s “Global Wage Report has put into sharp relief one of the biggest drags on global economic momentum: slowing wage growth”;
       -   for other analyses see:   India;
       of concern internationally this week:
       -   conflicting signals from North Korea (new “tactical” weapons system, but a prisoner released) at a time of sensitive negotiations;     concerns that the USA and Turkey are increasingly on a collision course;     an analysis of a “secret” agreement between China and Vanuatu made at last week’s APEC summit;     in a growing evictions crisis fuelled by soaring rents”, a Spanish woman has killed herself during eviction attempt by police;     a Bahrain-born Australian, granted asylum here, has been arrested on an Interpol warrant (technically, a “red notice”) for what could be political reasons in Thailand, and faces being tortured again if deported back to Bahrain (this raises some seriously concerning questions about the abuse of Interpol processes);
       of concern in my nation (Australia) this week:
       -   a violent taxi cab rivalry in a small country town;     as “more than 4,300 federal public servants believe they witnessed corrupt behaviour in one year”, and revelations emerge that the “government was working to convert the Australian Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity into an anti-corruption body before the leadership change”, Australia’s neoliberal, evangelical  zealot prime minister “has dismissed a federal integrity commission as a ‘fringe issue’ ”;     Australian intelligence agents could soon be given permission to use weapons for purposes other than self defence on overseas missions;     the nature of child poverty in Australia;
       also of concern this week:
       -   other concerning events have occurred or are developing in:   Iran;
       in the grey/mixed [good and bad aspects] or neutral area this week:
       -   “ ‘be the change’ we desperately need, UN deputy chief urges global youth;
       on development (in an “end poverty/thirst/hunger” sense):
       -   by the end of this year, foreign workers “will have sent 466 billion dollars to family and friends in their countries of origin. Despite this record amount these remittances have little to no effect on the dire economic state of affairs in those home countries”;
       and democracy/governance/political matters in my home nation this week:
       on the Royal Commission into banks, and similar matters:
       -   criticism of Australia’s “corporate watchdog”, ASIC;     against a background of a charity changing its constitution so directors appoint themselves (how did corporate affairs approve that?) and a call for doctors to disclose their financial links with medical device manufacturers” and one bank chair’s stubborn refusal to admit to wrong doing, a review of evidence presented to the Royal Commission;
       on other matters:
       -   independent female candidates are doing well in the count for my states upper house and half of the new government’s Ministers are women, as the Greens and neoliberals face calls for a wake up (one female Liberal has quit) and neoliberal senators continue sexist abuse and refuse “to agree to the protection of LGBT students from discrimination unless the current legal exemptions are replaced by other protections for religious freedom”;     an unorthodox hunt for the ultimate successor to an independent MP – newspaper ads;     Australia’s  homophobic, anti-women, climate-change deniers neoliberal government has been “accused . . . of skipping work and avoiding scrutiny by ensuring Parliament sits for only 13 days before the federal budget in April”;
  • With regard to the USA and their schoolyard BULLYING, unpresidential 45th “President” (“POTUS45”) (see here on actions for US residents [and the useful principles]) this week (the VP is at least as bad):
       -   preliminary results of an ongoing survey of US residents’ confidence in their government on security matters;
       -   a critique of POTUS45’s “America First” vision in light of Saudi Arabia’s murder of a Saudi-born US journalist;     the US Congress’s sole black Republican congresswoman has criticised POTUS “for not embracing minority voters”;
       -   a “man who had heart attack after [Hawaii’s] false missile alert [is] suing the state”;
       -   in yet another example of appalling behaviour by a US airline, an employee has mocked the unusual name a of a passenger’s daughter;
  • With regard to violent extremism (VE) (aka, terrorism)     (ALL people advocating hate or discrimination in response to violent extremism are actively doing the work of violent extremists. This will be countered, in part, by “Cure Violence”, real and perceived disempowerment and acknowledging the variety in what provides genuine, BPM fulfilment as a counter to fanaticism as a source of meaning, and good old fashioned police work.     I don’t name groups to reduce their publicity):
       -   according to this Wikipedia page, there have been 4 attacks in Iraq, 4 attacks in Afghanistan,   and   3 attacks in Syria   (out of a total of 28),   including   Nigeria (where extremists are now using drones);
       -   in addition:     violent extremist threats are or may be developing in   India;
       -   the challenges in predicting the next violent extremist cause that will trigger “foreign fighters”;     the damage done to children of violent extremists;
  • With regard to refugees (noting the New York Declaration) and people seeking asylum:
       -   as evidence emerges of a migration fraud scheme that “shorted the tax office by over $100 million”, the cancellation of a basketball event helping South Sudanese teenagers is widely condemned and, in the UK, a vicious “school bully who ‘water boarded’ a 15-year-old Syrian refugee student [whose arm had been broken the previous month by the bullies – where the hell were the school teachers???] in an attack which was captured on video and sparked outrage is set to face court. Meanwhile, questions about where the health funds on Australia’s Manus Island gulag are going after a local man died of a heart attack, and a nasty right wing Australian MP’s misplaced comments about the North Sentinelese (they are being kept isolated to protect them from our diseases – but they also miss out on our advanced medical care) are countered by a more appropriate call to leave them alone by Survival International;     the forgotten men in Australia’s Manus Island gulag;
       -   other refugee-related matters have also occurred in:   Syria;
  • With regard to other human (and other) rights and discrimination     (incidentally, I consider it vital to identify people who are bigots, as they clearly have flaws of observation and thinking – shown by the fact that NOT all people choose to discriminate unless they have been educated otherwise [and there’s this]):
       -   activist Tarana Burke started the ‘MeToo’ movement on social media over a decade ago, but has now described what it has become as ‘unrecognisable’ “ (it has “been misrepresented as a witch hunt” but it “was to teach survivors that it is OK to share their experiences”);     indigenous people are, despite harassment, protesting against a land acquisition by energy companies that they consider unethical;     a “Dutch rail company [will] pay reparations for mass deportations of Jews during WWII”;
       -   in addition to opportunities below on child abuse and human trafficking, general opportunities to take action on human rights here, here (for example), and, this week,   here;
       -   other human rights matters have also occurred in:   Bahrain/Thailand;
       on HOMOPHOBIA/TRANSPHOBIA     (including heteronormativity and cisgender-normativity) this week (and noting that trans kids are the same as cis kids of the trans kids’ true gender):
       -   criticism of dehumanising, fetishizing or otherwise dehumanising trans/gender variant people;     incredibly, a gay student has received a standing ovation after coming out in front of [his] whole Catholic school”;     the Senate report into religious and human rights is available, and fails spectacularly, as it sees the two as inevitably opposed, as if all religions were inherently opposed to treating LGBTIQ people with respect, which utter rubbish;
       -   other homophobic/transphobic (and heteronormativity / cisgender-normativity) matters have also occurred in:   Australia,   Indonesia;
       on white supremacist and other forms of RACISM / CULTURAL DISCRIMINATION and Indigenous matters generally this week:
       -   “why racism is so hard to define and even harder to understand”;     an “Indigenous student [has warned] boarding school can be ‘distressing’ as dropout rates are questioned”;     segregation is still present in the USA – particularly its education system;     a report on reducing “the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in out-of-home care”;
       -   other white supremacy / racism problems have also occurred in:   USA,   USA;
       on TRAFFICKING, and CHILDREN’s and associated human rights this week:
       -   lawyers for a former archbishop convicted of covering up child abuse, are trying to argue “forcing a child into a sex act wasn't indecent assault in the 1970s” (they may be technically correct, but there are also laws about not harming others – and, if they want go far enough, assaulting someone else’s child could probably be argued to be damaging someone else’s property. This is an extremely concerning, ill-conceived attempt at defence for someone who seems to be utterly lacking in spiritual morals);     a call for more adoption to get kids out of foster care (my experiences of being adopted were good, but I know not all others were);     a new anti-slavery law in my nation has been described as tougher than the UK’s, but missed the opportunity to impose financial penalties (the size of companies is also quite large);     in the UK, free education to survivors of modern slavery”;     “a US agency is taking steps to deport people who were trafficked illegally into the country if they cannot prove their ordeal, a move likely to have a chilling effect on victims coming forward”;     “UK urged to protect post-Brexit seasonal farm workers from slavery”;     “calls to [the UK’s] anti-slavery helpline will be mapped to show human-trafficking hotspots in a drive to raise public awareness and hone government spending to combat the crime”;
       -   also on child abuse, including institutional, this week:   UK,   UK,   top fashion brands;
       -   also on slavery / human trafficking this week:   here,   India,   South Korea/Japan,   Venezuela/Colombia;
       -   opportunities to take action this week;
       on SEXISM this week (keeping in mind the overblown influence given to testosterone, and the potential value to women of using anger):
       -   “why good parental leave is key to closing the gap”;
       -   on sexual harassment/misconduct/violence this week, see:   here,   here,   here,   here;
       -   other sexism matters have also occurred in:   my home state,   PNG,   Indonesia,   India,   India;
       on ANIMALS’ rights this week:
       -   as an appeal is made to help a person who made a graphic video of animal cruelty and a live export ship is banned from carrying cattle after profound instability problems, a Coroner’s enquiry into the death of a woman by a dog she kept for self-defence after a home invasion but failed to control or manage the dog properly or competently, “noted the Domestic Animal Services were called several times, but no action was taken, and described laws in place at the time [as] adequate”;
  • With regard to war (noting that economic ties do NOT prevent war), violence and hate generally:
       -   the US Army is “developing exoskeletons to create new generation of ‘super soldiers’ ‘;     anti-vehicle mines [although anti-personnel mines have been outlawed, anti-vehicle mines have not] risk sliding off UN agenda despite increasing humanitarian impact”;     the connection between hunger and conflict;
       -   other war, violence or hate related matters have occurred or are developing in:   Australia;
  • With regard to peace:
       -   “a new SIPRI film evaluates how far we have to go to achieve peace, justice and strong institutions in the world by 2030—one of the goals set by the United Nations in its sustainable development agenda set out in 2015” (I haven’t listened to this yet);
  • With regard to spirituality    and/or     psychism generally (including empathy, revolutionary love, survival after death, and good religion),     and the occasional nice story     (and to get people to constructively remedy:   fear of being single / asexual / off-grid   or   a rebel / innovator / non-conformist / true to yourself,   belief in management  fads and fashions,   distracting themself aka filling their time,   and   accept beneficent extraterrestrial UFOs):
       -   an upcoming book on magickal activism which looks quite interesting;     an opinion that the missionary who was killed illegally invading North Sentinel Island “claimed to love the people of North Sentinel Island. But he loved them in the way an abusive parent claims to love their children;     “the US Army has issued updated guidance on military funerals that notably emphasizes freedom of religion and individual choice;
  • With regard to natural and other catastrophes:

General Comments/Information
(Dear Reader, please remember, I expect you to THINK when reading this blog, and I reserve the right to occasionally sneak in something to test that)
Many others are very capably doing this type of work – for instance, the Lucis Trust's Triangles network (which has been running for many decades);     the Correllian Tradition's 'Spiritual War for Peace' (see also here, here, and here), the Hope, Peace, Love and Prosperity Spell (also from the Correllian Tradition, in around 2007 or 2008),     the Healing Minute started by the late, great Harry Edwards (running for decades);     the “CE 5  ET contact” movement started by Dr Steven M Greer, which is the one which appears to me to most capitalise on the teachings of “The Nine”,     the “Network of Light”  meditations;     the 1 Million Meditators movement,     and     also see here, here and here – even commercial organisations (for instance, see here), online groups (e.g. here and here – which I do not know the quality of) and even an app.
Thus, if you don't like what I am suggesting here, but want to be of service, there are many other opportunities for you – including secular opportunities: e.g., see here, here and here.
Again, activism in the physical world is also required - see here, here and here, here, and, of course, here.
(I specifically have a role for (absent) healers on Saturdays [see Psychic Weather Report]. Anyone who wishes to be protector has a role every day :). At all times, on all levels and in ways, BOTH must ALWAYS be BPM in the way they perform such roles.)
If I am ever late getting my Psychic Weather Report up any week, there is a default plan.
I apologise for publishing these posts twice, but Blogger keeps changing my formatting.
