Post No. 2,292 - Reflections from The Rings of Power

As a first point, one of the comments of Lobsang Rampa I agree with is that life on this world is often too hard for people to learn and grow effectively - and, in making that comment, I am aware of the occasionally valid need for negative learning (e.g., stay aware from a flame to avoid being burned)

Rampas comment is about a situation which is somewhat akin to being tortured the victims are trying to turn that into a positive experience on the basis of not having given up information, or in some other sense having endured or outlasted the torturer.

The problem with that is, even if you didnt give up information - which may well be validly admirable, you will have been traumatised: you will be different, quite possibly emotionally hardened or otherwise scarred by what you had to do in order to survive.

You may even have suffered some form of Stockholm  Syndrome.

In the streaming Series The Rings of Power mention is made of orcs being Elves that have been twisted by nonBPM (my terminology) powers - which is a comment made in the Lord of the Rings books also.

On this blog, I’ve often commented that one of the main needs for protection is against disharmonious energies: that’s true, but it is time I also started writing more about the need to protect against nonBPM units - including people who have been warped by the stresses, strains and abuses of physical life in this world into being nonBPM.

That doesnt mean theyre inherently evil (although a very small number are), although their actions may be.

As an example, people close to me have rescued a dog from people who, in their state of scarred existence, were trying to train the dog for dog fighting - an appalling, sadistic practice that shows how twisted those former owners had become. As a result of the abuses inflicted, the dog seems to be aggressive towards strangers - but that is actually an overpowering fear caused by the abuses she underwent.

Now, we have to ensure the dog and the people are both safe, which is the physical equivalent of psychic protection, but we do so without hating the entity we are protecting against - whichever perspective you take. In other words, the protection is genuinely BPM

When you establish protection you may have to do so quite strongly because of the warping influences the units you are protecting against have been through (it can be bad enough against jealousy or office politics or family splits or neighbours, etc, etc, etc), but be as strong as you need to without hate.

Apart from anything else, creating “protection” with nonBPM intent will create a link binding you to the person you are hating.

(Fear is a more complex matter - part the same as hate, part different.)

This post has been partly inspired by the streaming series mentioned above, but also partly because I have been distracted by others matters for a few weeks, and am now finding the units I am protecting against do have a faint sense of being a bit orc-like.

Be that as it may, the protection, including distraction, undetectability, grounding / balancing, and many other passive defences, and active but BPM defence for those who breach our boundaries, is in the process of being restored.

Assumptions / basis

In writing this, I have assumed / started from the following:

  • there can be a valid need for psychic protection;
  • protection should be BPM - not excessive, aggressive, or any more harmful than the absolute minimum;
  • what one does to others will come back to one;
  • the damage I have referred to above - from trauma - could be so severe that its effects last beyond one lifetime.

Possible flaws

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:

  • there are other worldviews which consider protection a flawed outcome of a limited perspective that limits ones compassion;
  • there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”
  • I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.
