Post No. 840 - Rescue in a parallel Universe

I did a rescue last night (nothing unusual there) of a child (also nothing unusual: he wanted help to "find his mother", which I helped him do - could feel his hand [quite warm, incidentally] in mine), but I was in a version of North America which had an independent USA which had never known any significant figure named George Washington, and had a far greater appreciation of the natural world.

Obviously, I went to a parallel Universe, one where the USA had not had to fight for independence - which would actually have probably been a flow on from events in the UK being different, perhaps George III not being King, for instance, or even earlier. I was working there, doing rescue, so didn't have time or inclination to explore the differences, but it was nice to see that somewhere, the USA was a better place than it is here - and, most probably, better because it hadn't experience the violent start that it had here. I couldn't sense any of the taint of slavery, but that may have been because I wasn't there long enough, or in the right place to sense it. If there hadn't been the extensive slavery that our USA had, the changes in that Universe go back a long way ...

I have had a little experience with parallel Universes, but I tend to avoid deliberately exploring them: that way can lead to disorientation and confusion, as my teacher told me of someone who once had a series of past life incarnations focused on alien lives, and as other teachers have told me can happen to those who dabble - or seriously work with - time magick.

Now, back to getting ready for work ...

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
