Post No. 2,280 - An Opportunity RIGHT NOW ...

Several of the world's worst leaders are meeting in Central Asia - see https://www.france24.com/en/asia-pacific/20220915-china-s-xi-to-discuss-ukraine-war-with-putin-at-summit-in-kazakhstan

This is an opportunity to flood Samarkand, Uzbekistan with BPM energy, and to clear nonBPM units.

Post No. 2,279 - the danger of being driven by guilt

This is a very short post.

There is a danger is being an activist driven by guilt - yes, the guilt may show some empathy, but it may also show a fear of being criticised.

Often, both motivations are involved, and the latter may lead to activism missing the target of helping the victim-survivors of abuse, as it can lead to a slight bias towards what makes one feel better, rather than what is optimally helpful.

It's a little like those fools who think minimising tax is the same thing as maximising income - or the managers described in this article I found on Medium.

Also, such bias may lead to collateral damage ...

Post No. 2,278 - Concerns about movies

CW - discussion of violence, sexual assault, and link to encyclopaedic entry on a perversion

While I've been recovering from COVID (doing last week’s PWR [#0320] was quite a challenge), Ive been watching a few movie series:

  • Star Wars
    • the redemption character arcs are good, although the ways people fall off the good and narrow path are a bit simplified (“Hollywood-ified”, one could say - although that is, in part, the limits that apply to trying to fit complex concepts into a few hours of visual storytelling without talking heads”), although the benefits of friendships and BPM relationships are accurate;
    • seeing some sort of concept of magic on the big (and, later, the little) screen * was, in the 1970s, quite mind blowing (although I think the version of magic and reality in “Dr Strangeis closest to “real” that Ive seen thus far - I havent seen the 2nd film as yet, so cannot comment on that one), although their awkward stumbling towards survival after death and their delayed appreciation of the existence of healing (which didn’t really crop up until the last film) were a bit grating - not enough to not watch and enjoy most of each film, though
    • they suffered from “Theme 2” discussed below;
  • The Hobbit and “The Lord of the Rings film series
    • these also suffered considerably from “Theme 2” discussed below, which may have contributed to the problem the series reportedly has of attracting white supremacists;
    • some individual character arcs show considerable growth - for instance, Sam and Frodo both grow, and Frodo and Gollum could be considered to model successful and unsuccessful ways of managing personal challenges;
    • some of the created languages are fascinating (not enough for me to invest enough time and energy to become proficient), as are Tolkien’s versions of Elves, magic-workers, etc;
      and
  • Minions 2 - The Rise of Gru

Yes, I know Minions 2 - The Rise of Gru” is a single film - I did watch the first one before the latter, but it was the second film when I started to crystallise the thoughts that would lead to this post.

The first part of that crystallising was the glorification/normalisation/misrepresentation of crime/criminals - which is something that has irked me in many series (particularly The Blacklist”, which I consider undersold the level of commitment many police have to rules and laws), but also goes back to the glorification of Bonnie and Clyde (and I note that, in addition to both having been born into poverty [which is an evil social crime - a bit like this], Clyde Barrow's motivation may have been the abuses he received in prison - so they had causative factors that should not have existed ** , but they did murder 13 people - four of whom were civilians) in the USA, and also Ned Kelly here in Australia - and, as someone with a dash of Irish convict heritage, I understand the classist and racist abuse of the Kellys, and, as an activist, understand the need for powerful action against injustice, but planning to derail trains (plural - the first train would have been followed by a regular daily train, and Kelly had already made it clear no-one would be allowed to warn it) with civilians on it counts as attempted terrorism, not activism.

I also saw this in many pirate films - and pirates were, in fact, forms of democracy in a world that mostly, in those eras, authoritarian, brutal, and extremely unfair, but pirates were also brutal in ways that don’t get shown - just as the appalling brutality of slavery doesn’t get shown.

Our films are mostly sanitised, and many of the films which do show gory versions of injury and death are doing so for questionable purposes (on that, I found this [CW - link to encyclopaedic entry on a sexual perversion] quite disturbing - I came across it while researching the links for this article).

That leads into what I have alluded to as Theme 2: the glorification/normalisation/misrepresentation of violence.

When I am watching films, I choose to fast forward past gratuitous and/or inaccurate portrayals of violence (this used to irk a step-daughter, and others, who consider I should watch films as the film-maker intended - which I have done once, and then I watch the films that enable me to explore aspects in greater detail, or to get particular benefits I want from: film-makers can be adult and deal with it [similarly musicians and complete albums - if I have to listen to the whole thing every time, I wouldn't listen to any of it, as I have a life to live, and not all of the album - no matter how skilfully crafted - contributes to all of my life all of the time]).

The difference between realistic and glorified sexual violence was described in several reviews (e.g., here) which compared such scenes from Outlander and Game of Thrones

Violence causes trauma to more than just the physical body of the victim - it traumatises the spirit of those killed, it traumatises the psyche of those who loved or cared for the victim or even witnessed the crime.

It traumatises the doer in ways that the doer won’t even realise for possibly lifetimes to come.

Such trauma slows the growth of those directly involved or indirectly affected. We need to take action to prevent such harm, and to heal those harmed, in both the physical (through laws, justice system, hospitals, and psychological support systems) and the non-physical (though healing the victims, and doing clearing and balancing of those who have done or may do such abuses - whether physical or nonphysical, and to also teach nonphysical health, strength and wellbeing and protection to those at risk of being harmed nonphysically [e.g., this]).

We are not only here for our personal evolution: we are here to learn how to make places better to live in. And that means we work at preventing abuses and evil, not just tending to the victims and ascending beyond it ourselves - those are cop outs.

Now, having written all that, I would like you, Dear Reader, to spare a thought for the millions, perhaps billions, of people who do not have access to entertainment such as I have been watching - partly due to technological limitations, partly due to the censorship of authoritarian governments, but mostly due to poverty.

Where do they get their illustration of values from - and can their BPM  Guides offset the harmful modelling?

I've decided to do a few shorter posts - like this one was originally going to be - rather than the longer, better researched and thought through posts I try to do. As I age and deteriorate, I have to manage my energy and time more carefully, and this will be one such way I do so.

* for those who are not familiar with these terms, “big screen”refers to movie theatres, whereas “little screen” refers to television

** This also applied to the abuses of Allied PoWs in World War (part) Two, a significant portion of which came from German PoWs getting even for the abuses they had experienced in World War (part) One.

Post No. 2,277 – This Week’s Psychic Weather Report and Work No. 0321

Black Lives Matter! Be Anti-Racist, Anti-Sexist, and Actively Inclusive in ALL Areas.
The Climate Crisis is real, urgent and
existential!

The Pandemic is Real, and Vaccinations save lives. Stay safe - wash your hands, wear a face mask in public if prudent to do so, and follow informed medical advice.

This week’s assessment is:

This shows that, this week:

overall, the world is net BPM on the basis of both area and population which is due to an increase of BPM by area (but decrease of BPM by population), and a decrease of nonBPM by area and population compared to last week.

In more detail, compared to last week:

  • BPM influences are significantly weaker in:   East Pacific, Antarctica, Central Africa, and West, Central, South & archipelagic South East Asia;   have increased significantly in:   South America, the South Atlantic, Arctic, East European plain, Indian Ocean, and Siberia;   and   have held everywhere else.
  • nonBPM influences are significantly stronger in:   North America, Europe, West Asia, Siberia, and South Asia;   significantly weaker in:   East Pacific, South Atlantic, northern Africa, Siberia, South Asia, Indian Ocean, and East Asia;   and   the same elsewhere.

Areas of energetic concern this week are:   North America, and archipelagic South East, West & Central Asia, and also South Asia, Australia, and the North Atlantic and West Pacific Oceans - an arc from North America to South East Asia;   areas of concern this week for other reasons are:   the east European Plain, the Horn of Africa, and South Asia;   and areas of particular  strength are:  southern Africa and the Indian Ocean (East Asia shows up as strongly net BPM, but that energy is needed there)

It is pleasing to see South America and the South Atlantic Ocean doing so well this week.

I have also found a live 24-hour display of output from the Global Consciousness Project, and https://acleddata.com/conflict-pulse/ and https://acleddata.com/early-warning-research-hub/global-threat-tracker/, which I will be referring to regularly as a supplement to this.

My assessment of elemental energies on various levels for this week is:

This indicates (as a generalisation for all eight billion of us - there will be considerable individual variation in this)

Æther is most strongly BPM (significantly so), and Earth is most nonBPM - Fire and Water are also BPM, and Air is nonBPM. Æther and Fire are particularly less BPM this week, with other changes being less significant.

Air is significantly weaker than the other elements, with Fire and Æther strongest, although not significantly more so than Water and Air - which are substantially weaker than last week, while Earth is much stronger.

Water and Air have a significantly weaker focus on the Causal level, which is major change to last week where they and Æther were more strongly focused on that level.

Earth is still strongly outward focused, and Air is also more outwardly focused, with Æther balanced and Fire and Water slightly more inwardly focused.

Overall, last week's focus on Æther has not made any noticeable change, but Earth is more strongly a concern - and remains strongly focused outwards, with Fire's nonBPM energy and Air's overall lack of BPM energy also of concern. For this week, we need an inwards-focused sense of security and comfort that allows reflection and inwards-focused BPM spirituality: an inner SERENITY based on knowing we can endure and overcome problems (see bindrune for Serenity below - more pictorial than I usually do).

This week’s plan is:

My approach this week will be (incidentally, if you disagree, please use your own interpretations, or your own divinations):

Sunday: refer to map

Monday: refer to map

Tuesday: refer to map

Wednesday: refer to map

Thursday: refer to map

Friday: refer to map

Saturday: this day will now be reserved for rest, recuperation and healing – of all those who are trying in a BPM way to make this planet a better place.
May any and all healers who wish to contribute to this, take a few minutes to contribute to this goal on this day.

(The colours for the days are:   Sunday - gold,   Monday - grey,   Tuesday - orange,   Wednesday - green,   Thursday - blue,   Friday - violet.)

Routine Explanation / commentary

My “Magickal Battle of the World”, dowsing, and other courses on this blog can be found at https://gnwmythr.blogspot.com/p/on-line-courses-on-this-blog.html.

There is an introduction / reminder / explanation about these posts here (and also see here for some investigation into evidence of the effectiveness of this type of work, which shows variability [and mentions causes] and cycles in the energetic/consciousness response), and some additional comments at the end of this post. Please also note that I hope this work will be taken up by a network of competent dowsers and BPM psychic warriors (also, this blog was created for spiritual reasons, including a course: this is just part of it). See also this excellent analysis on this topic.

As you read this, consider this: how does one outflank an idea, or attack an emotion in the rear? It is as well to consider what those who are unbalanced could do to good ideas and emotions, as well as considering BPM ways to outflank or “attack in the rear” bad ideas/emotions. Also consider geopolitics, and this mapping exercise.

Remember, the meditation (see here, here, and here) consists of:

 - appropriate and responsible protection (see here, here, here), prayer and ritual (e.g., here) to establish and check protection (re-do or re-schedule, if you don’t feel safe and secure);

 - establish a personal connection to higher BPM influences;

 - flush one's aura with emerald green, royal blue and royal purple;

 - fill one’s Heart Chakra (and maybe one’s Earth Star, Solar Plexus, Third Eye and Crown Chakras) with emerald green, royal blue and royal purple; send a weave of three streams of this colour from the Chakra(s) to a visualisation of a gigantic, multi-faceted emerald (which has been created to facilitate networking of BPM workers) through your facet until you see your energy enlivening other areas of the emerald and can feel similar energies flowing back to you;

 - visualise the rune / bindrune (if given - or, on Sunday, the group of symbols provided);

 - generate  feelings of love, peace, joy and respect;

 - strengthen those feelings (energies);

 - radiate those energies to the world for nine to eighteen minutes;

 - close your chakras, centre yourself and close your aura, use the banishing version of the LBRP to close circle, ground and release all excess energy; and make sure you are grounded and closed down – eat, if you need to, or seek help from someone capable and trusted. As a final point, note that your BPM family of choice (i.e., friends - especially those outside this area of your life) and BPM family will help keep your life grounded - but they must be BPM: as the Wiccan  Rede says “With a fool no season spend, nor be counted as their friend”. Similarly, you should focus on all that you love in life outside this work at the end of a session - and, if you have nothing else, you must broaden your life for the sake of being balanced and thus capable (and seek expert help, if necessary); and
 - make sure you are yourself again - free of any lingering attachments or (misguided) ideas of being subservient, respectful of yourself and your integrity as you should be of others.

Important note: although I show the flow of energy using arrows, they are really - to continue the weather chart analogy - more like the passage of a frontal system as shown on a synoptic (“weather”) chart. Also, if I ever miss doing a Psychic Weather Report, I have posted a standard, fall-back, default version here, which I will update from time to time when needed.

My changing the personality of oppressors and other world leaders post is here. It is also worth contemplating that one of the greatest weaknesses of those who oppose Balanced Positivity is the inherent pain, suffering and negativity of their aims and means – from the personal slights, insults and traumas left by the petty tyrant or autocrat, dictator or monarch or those oligarchs who are ruthless (some at least are not; some are BPM), through the social dislocation of the economic ideologue, to the long-lasting trauma, injury, death and desolation of society caused by those who use violence or war as a means to achieve power or impose their will. It may take time, but people WILL eventually realise what is not good, and will take action – which is why slavery is no longer ubiquitous, and why the march to freedom and democracy is underway – tentatively, and with backsliding and mistakes along the way, but inexorable nevertheless.

Also, if you’re interest is healing, I have changed the way I do these posts to more clearly show opportunities for doing healing.

In addition, those interested in providing protection for others always have a place – refer to the first item from yesterday’s summation of world events (details and link above), for instance.

Finally, a reminder that if none of this is of any interest to you, but you would still like to contribute energetically / psychically to making the world a better place, there are other options – for instance, this comprehensive list, and see also here, here, here, here, here, here, here (and here), here, here , and this group (based on coherence of heart energies via an app and broadcasting love) – and, no doubt, many other places on the internet.

Post No. 2,276 - Reading and other links

Im going to begin this with a reminder that the work of this blog is:

and

  • BPM  strengthening of BPM units - some nonphysical, some incarnated people . . . and one of, if not the, best ways that is done is strengthening people's connection with their own Higher Self (which is possibly not what they interpret as their conscience).

Also:

Black Lives Matter! Be Anti-Racist, Anti-Sexist, and Actively Inclusive in ALL Areas.
The Climate Crisis is real, urgent and
existential!

The Pandemic is Real, and Vaccinations save lives. Stay safe - wash your hands, practice social distancing and wear a face mask in public, and follow informed medical advice - and be considerate towards those at risk or in situations of vulnerability (including economic) while the COVID-19 pandemic is a problem.

Having made those points, here are some links that you, Dear Reader, may find of interest or value (articles by others unless stated otherwise)

  • commentary on a major speech warning the world against fascism and authoritarianism
  • a commentary on the problem of “social murder
  • “making decisions can be terrifying. Stop worrying about being wrong and try to have a curious mindset instead”
  • the effects (5 signs of a dysregulated nervous system) of childhood trauma;
  • a somewhat tortured reflection on genuinely helping others;
  • a woman died recently who challenged America’s passion for positive thinking, which elevates individual will over collective responsibility. She argued it was a reason for the 2008 economic collapse. “Nobody could see that anything bad was coming”;
  • it’s RUOK Day – but ‘how can I help?’ might be a better question to ask
  • my thoughts on the passing of Queen Elizabeth II;
  • my thoughts on why some people dig in their toes after they’ve been forced to stop expressing one form of bigotry;
  • a reflection on luck and success;
  • an interesting interview with Dr Garry  Nolan on the experiencer’s brain AND his own Communion experience;
  • this weeks afterlife report by the Zammits

In preparation for tomorrows psychic weather report, I do a weekly summary of news links - every one of which is an opportunity to do the work of this blog, which I outlined at the start of this post. That can be accessed at:

https://politicalmusingsofkayleen.blogspot.com/2022/09/some-human-rights-and-other-news-links_10.html

I generally do the PWRs on Sunday in Australia, with an aim to get it online by 8pm on the Australian east coast - which, in the southern winter, is midday in Geneva, 11am in London, 6am in New York, and 3am on the US west coast.

(Short) Post No. 2,275 - Effects of chakras on each other

I've written a fair bit about chakras over the years, and much of that can be accessed via https://gnwmythrsglossary.blogspot.com/2014/05/chakras.html.

However, there's one aspect which I don't think much as been written about, and that is the possibility of chakras affecting each other - in sort of the way that radio stations can impinge on each other.

Now, that is unlikely for those chakras which are connected to differing levels of reality, but some chakras in my 13 chakra system are being brought into existence to help chakras connect to and work with each other better - for instance, one has the function of enabling people to better "speak from the heart".

In those instances, one chakra affecting the other is clearly possible.

However, I suspect - and will now look for - chakras may affect each other in ways similar to the elemental energies I work with as part of my PWRs. Thus, if I - say - add blue to one chakra, in addition to checking whether that has the desired effect on that chakra, I will also check to see if it has any effect on the other chakras.

We are complex, interconnected creatures, and I've already used chakras to create a protective cage around other chakras; maybe we need to see working on chakras as being similar to working on interconnected puzzles like sudoku or quordle.

If nothing else, just being aware of the possibility could be useful.

Post No. 2,274 - The evil of utilitarianism (~930 words; 3 – 5 min. read)

I’ve been reading a couple of Gary  Lachman’s books, and there are a few points that have come to mind as I do that I wish to cover.

Firstly, the books are:

·     “The Caretakers of the Cosmos” (Pub. Floris Books, 2013, ISBN 978-178250-022-3; Amazon);

·     “Politics and the Occult: The Left, the Right, and the Radically Unseen” (Pub. Quest Books, Wheaton USA, 2008, ISBN 978-0-8356-2032-1; Amazon).

Clearly, I don’t agree withy everything Mr Lachman writes. My post on the heteronormativity test disagreed with the presented version of polarity, for instance.

Equally clearly, there are points I agree with, or aspects of the books that I find informative – for instance, in “Politics and the Occult: The Left, the Right, and the Radically Unseen” I was appalled to discover how backward, unspiritual, and downright bigoted some past groups and individuals were (and current ones still are - too many, but that gets into my personal experience rather than what I’ve read).

The following quotation from “Politics and the Occult: The Left, the Right, and the Radically Unseen” is striking (emphasis added by me), although I consider some of the angst makes sense if we accept that Reality manifests from higher levels down to the physical:

“Often those who reject meaning and purpose accuse those who look for it of wanting the world to be that way – who wouldn’t, they concede – but of not being strong (or honest, or hard, or brave, etc.) enough to face the truth. But it strikes me that the opposite can be just as true, although it rarely gets a mention: that those who embrace meaninglessness and chance want to be seen as tougher (or more intelligent, honest, brave, etc.) then those who ‘need’ meaning and purpose. Frequently the search for or expectation of meaning is seen as a weakness. Yet again, the opposite can be just as true. The embrace of meaninglessness can be an expression of a hunger for superiority, the need to feel more intelligent and strong than the rest of us fools, just as it can be seen as a form of misanthropy, of a dislike of human beings.”

This is actually a good lead in to what I want to cover in this post, but I’m going to start with a few more quotes.

“By declaring the world of values and meaning unreal – that is, not susceptible to quantification or measurement – science, or a particularly aggressive form of reductionist scientism, opened the door on the ‘anything goes’ school of values. Beauty, and everything else, was now in the eye of the beholder, not in any kind of objective stratum of real meaning or value. Like many other thinkers of the time, Scheler recognised that this was a dangerous development, which led, as mentioned earlier, to utility being the sole gauge of any good.”

“One of Scheler’s bĂŞtes noires was precisely the invasion of the cultural world by the utilitarian sensibility, which promoted the cultivation of the arts and literature, provided they served some purpose, that they helped business in some way, much as meditation and other spiritual practices are today promoted as a means of increasing productivity.”

“Positive vital values build a strong sense of community and social responsibility, while negative ones undermine our social and communal bonds. One of Scheler’s concerns was that with the rise of utilitarian notions of value, which he believed were on the increase in the modern age, ideas of nobility, heroism, and self-sacrifice would lose their significance, and an ethos of self-seeking, in which everyone was out for themselves, would dominate. As altruism today is increasingly explained in terms of the ‘cunning’ of ‘selfish genes’, we can see that Scheler’s concern was warranted.”

Similarly to the problem of seeing values as only of value if they are utilitarian, which denies the Soul / Higher Self (a particular problem of the version of Communism adopted in the USSR), I find many human rights advocates make the wrong assumption that all opinions can be expressed.

This is often qualified by statements along the “don’t cry fire in a crowded theatre”, but that assumes physical harm matters, and psychological harm doesn’t – which is a load of utter rot.

Words kill – directly, in the case of misgendering, and indirectly, in the case of “hate speech”[see Note 1]  and  1930s  Germany is a particular example of that, as are the rantings and actions of former  POTUS45.

There’s also the issue of words judged to have caused harm to public reputation.

Morally, not all opinions have the right to be expressed.

In addition, there is the problem of “both side-ism” (see, for instance, this), where, even though one side of an argument is endemic and predominates public debate, some human rights advocates think they still have to acknowledge that predominant side.

But where I particularly want to focus on in this article is flawed parenting.

Now, I quite specifically mentioned 1930s Germany, because that is an example of pernicious state interference in child-rearing that hasn’t been matched until China’s brainwashing of the “Cultural Revolution” in the 1960s and the more  recent  social  credit  system.

Because of the past and the current examples, I do NOT favour legal or compulsory intervention in such matters (beyond addressing what is legally accepted to be child abuse).

However, when parents say they want to do the “mini-me” style of parental abuse, we need public figures to advocate, instead, for parenting based on helping child to achieve their full potential, including when that potential differs from that of parents, and avoiding utilitarianism by aiming to instil values based on the UDHR.
