Blogiography [Content Warning: some posts may have content warnings - reader discretion is advised]

Content Warning -  the posts titled "for Sunday evening's meditation-clearing include news links, which may be to news articles on distressing topics. Other posts address issues related to conflict, violence & war, and matters such as changing the personality of oppressors. As I work through updating these posts,. I will try to add CWs here, but that will take some time.

A bibliography is (more or less) a list of books; I'm going to invent and slightly misuse a word: "blogiography". Logically (think "Spock speaking here"), a blogiography would be a list of blogs, but I want to give a list of my posts for easy access and reference. Logically, Spock would probably call that a postiography, but I think Blogiography sounds cooler, so I'll use that. I'll update this from time to time, and provide a link to it at the front of the blog to make it easier to find stuff.

I am doing the additions in stages, so you may find little more than a link to a post during interim stages of upgrades: my apologies for that - I will finish the updating when I can.

I have also split this blogiography into several parts. In this part you will find:

  • this explanation;
  • a listing of what I consider to be key posts, after my signature block, which I have grouped by various topics where I can, and which is probably the quickest way to get to grips with what I am aiming to do on this blog if this is your first time here;
  • links to this blog and other places for people to work through this as a course, if they wish; and
  • links to other parts of the blogiography:

    - details of posts:
          Vol. 01 (posts No.    1 -    45;    Jun, 2007 - Aug. 2008),
          Vol. 02 (posts No.   46 -   90;    Aug. 2008 - Dec. 2009),

          Vol. 18 (posts No. 581 - 594;   August - mid-September 2014),

    - a summary of posts with particular rituals or ritual elements.

I hope you find this useful :)

[2] Please see here and my post "The Death of Wikipedia" for the reasons I now recommend caution when using Wikipedia. I'm also exploring use of h2g2, although that doesn't appear to be as extensive (h2g2 is intended - rather engagingly - to be the Earth edition of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy").

My "blogiography" (list of all posts and guide as to how to best use this site) is here, and my glossary/index is here.

I started this blog to cover karmic regression-rescue (see here and here), and it grew ... See here for my group mind project, here and here for my "Pagans for Peace" project (and join me at 9 PM on Sunday, wherever you are, to meditate for peace), and here for my bindrune kit-bag. I also strongly recommend learning how to flame, ground and shield, do alternate nostril breathing, work with colour, and see also here and be flexible.

Key posts: a (slightly!) shorter listing ...

Much of this blog is just me whingin’ and whinin’ about things, or shooting my mouth off (metaphorically) … :) … but some it is more significant, and the following list is of the posts that I personally consider of most significance. … Of course, the rest are worth a look also :)
I’ve grouped some of these together, where they explore a theme. The themes I’ve used (so far!) are:
·         Regression-Rescue and Spirit Rescue;
·         Psychic Attack;
·         Control;
·         Balanced Positivity, Spiritual Maturity, Peace and Personal Conduct;
·         Reality including Karma;
·         Chakras;
·         Emotions;
·         Religion, Paths and Change;
·         Healing and Other Techniques;
·         Patron Deities and BPLF Guides;
·         Modern/Urban Lifestyles and Society;
·         Psychic Development (note that a fair number of posts in other themes could also fit here); and
·         Miscellaneous.
Those posts shown bolded are, in my view, more significant or more important. Any that are italicised or in smaller font only just barely made it on to the list … :)

Using this blog as a course

This section is intended to be a guide to those who wish to learn from what I have posted on this blog in a reasonably organised way. To attempt to do so when one is looking at a mass of hundreds of post, some more for my venting than anything else, is - of course! - difficult. This section provides a suggested structure, a way of working through this content and getting some coherent benefit from the other end of one’s work.

It is not set out with an intention of doing one lesson weekly or monthly – rather, take as long as is needed for each step before you move to the next. It is strongly recommended that you make a fair dinkum (genuine, for any non-Aussies reading this :) ) attempt at doing any practical exercises several times a week (preferably daily) for at least one month before moving on to the next “Lesson”. I also suggest keeping a journal or diary so you can refine your practice and work – at least for the first few years.

Also, where I consider external sources of information are needed, I have referred to them.

This is also a good opportunity to mention that I didn’t start work on this blog with a view to it being a standalone creation, and am working on at least one book to try to present what I am getting at more effectively.

Lesson One – Clear and Independent Thought
I have mentioned several times on this blog the importance of “keeping your thinking cap on”, which is a saying that basically means take personal responsibility for what you believe and think - don’t adopt something simply because someone you know or respect (e.g. parents, someone famous [which counts me out - phew!], or someone with experience) advocates for something.

There are a couple of steps along the path to achieving this that I wish to mention in particular: firstly, clear thinking, and secondly, the adage “know thyself”.

“Know thyself” will be addressed in a later “lesson”, but in terms of clear thinking, I recommend: getting the free on-line resource “Clear and Present Thinking”, by Brendan Myers, from http://www.brendanmyers.net/wickedrabbit/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=50:cpthinking&catid=19:aboutbooks&Itemid=8 (which I have mentioned previously, in Posts No. 523 and 486)

As you work through Mr Myer’s excellent publication, keep in mind that my “reality map” is based largely on:
·         the concept of levels of existence, most of which are NOT physical,
·         the concept of spiritual evolution,
·         the observations of karma,
·         my observations of psychic effects,
·         my experience of receiving help from physical and non-physical sources; and
·         the concept - which I am working at developing - that I term “Balanced Positivity”.
That reality map is not inherently more correct, right or better than any other reality map, but it has worked phenomenally well for me.

It is also important to keep in mind that my background is middle class, Western, and white (giving me loads of unearned privilege - although my reading, personal growth work [particularly in the 80s] and work travels have leavened my awareness), and trans* lesbian Pagan (giving me loads of unearned discrimination and an enhanced awareness of society’s underbelly)

As you consider what it may be, what are the personal, cultural, etc background influences acting on your reality map?

Lesson Two – The Nature of Reality
Keeping in mind my reality map, which may differ from your reality map, read:
·         the definition of this topic in my glossary - and the posts referenced there,
·         the posts grouped under the following heading in the “keynote posts” section of this post:
Reality including Karma, and then …
·         read Lyall Watson’s brilliant book “Supernature” (ISBN 0 340 40429 1, pub.: Sceptre, 1989 - first printing 1986; first pub. Hodder and Stoughton, 1973; first pub. in paperback Coronet, 1974),
check out Victor Zammit’s website (which I find a little … flamboyant), and
http://weilerpsiblog.wordpress.com/about/,
read (1) Richard Dawkins' book "The Selfish Gene", which I especially recommend before having children – more so if one is strongly driven to have children;
(2) Danny Vendramini’s “Them and Us” (pub. Kardoorair Press, Glebe, 2009, ISBN 9780908244775 ), to be read especially by all would be alpha males/queen bees, but I would also recommend this for teenagers, law makers/enforcers and parents; and
(3) maybe Desmond Morris’ book “The Naked Ape” pub. 1967, hardback: ISBN 0070431744; reprint: ISBN 0-385-33430-3),
and, finally …
read my Post No. 341.

Lesson Three – Know Thyself
Read the key posts grouped under the following headings in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
·         Emotions,
·         (negative psychic) Control,
·         Religion, Paths and Change, and
·         Balanced Positivity, Spiritual Maturity, Peace and Personal Conduct.

Then have a look at this post of mine, and try meditation or other personal growth work to develop an enhanced awareness of yourself (you will probably have to try a few techniques to find what works best for you … and be prepared for possible changes of what is working best for you), and start working out what you would like to change, why, and how. Look also at this.

Lesson Four – Types of Psychic Sensing and Phenomena
For the time being, I am going to refer you to this post of mine, which is based largely on Wikipedia, which I have reservations about [2]. I am working on definitions to post at my Glossary, and will update this section when that has been done. (I have done a definition of ESP, which should be read.)

A key point here that many people do not seem to know of is the difference between objective and subjective (e.g., see here), which I discuss at the referenced post

There is a general conception of nonphysical senses as being higher octaves (in my words) of the physical senses - so clairvoyance, for instance, is seen as the nonphysical version of our physical sight. I consider this idea not too bad - especially if one accepts Brendan Myers’ idea of thinking as an organ of perception (which I do :) ), which makes intuition the nonphysical version of thinking …

Also, read the following posts about Patron Deities, BPLF Guides and dreams: here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here

Next, read this post

This is just a basic introduction: there are many other forms of psychic phenomena and sensing.

Lesson Five – Psychic Health and Well being
Read, consider, meditate, think about, and conscientiously practice and apply this post. Then read the key posts grouped under the following heading(s) in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
·         Psychic Attack,
·         Control.

Look at this.

Lesson Six – Basic Psychic Exercises
Now, the first and most important part of this is that developing these sorts of skills takes AT LEAST the same amount of time as other, more mundane skills – maybe more. Some people have suggested 10,000 hours of practise is required for such mastery of skills, so why not keep a track of how many total hours you have spent working at developing these skills? And if it is significantly less than 10,000 hours, don’t whinge! Have a look at this post first.

Of course, sticking at things like this without emotional reactions is unlikely. In too many cases, I don’t think we allow ourselves the luxury of being sad or flat or bored or tired for a little while (if prolonged, you may need to look at matters more closely – and don’t hesitate to get help if it could be needed! Listen to your friends on this), so reread the key posts grouped under the following heading(s) in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
·         Emotions

OK, so now, having got that out of the way, the posts to work through and conscientiously practice and apply until they are nearly as easy as breathing is for most (not all) people are:
·         my posts on protection here, here, and here, and also see here and here;
·         visualisation: here, here and here, and maybe read Shakti Gawain’s well regarded book “Creative Visualisation”;
·         grounding and shielding;
·         flaming;
·         breathing exercises;
·         colour.

Now, next, have a look at this post, and see if you can work out a way to use it to improve your practice.

Finally, again, read the key posts grouped under the following heading(s) in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
·         Psychic Attack,
·         Control,
and look at this and this.

Lesson Seven – Clearing Energy
Work through my workshop notes here and here, focusing on the techniques for working with energy rather than the past life regression content, and also here. These skills are at least as important as those from Lesson Six, if not more …

Look also at this.

Lesson Eight – Problem Solving
In a sense, becoming psychic can be considered to be a problem to be solved: how do I become psychic - or more psychic or a better psychic? Ditto for spiritual, etc. The benefit of this sort of approach is that one tends to be more dispassionate, and thus less prone to disappointment or despair (remember the post about practising for 10,000 hours?)

Have a look at, and a think about, the flow charts located here and here

Now, re-read this post.

Lesson Nine – Consolidation
The best way to learn something is teach it (or try to!), so … how would you teach someone else what you have been learning? Re-write the notes I’ve provided in a format that suits you, and include what you’ve recorded in your journal or diary – which will be superceded by this exercise, if properly undertaken.

Lesson Ten – Healing
I am used the word ‘healing’ here is the sense of ‘channelled energy healing’, which I consider an important skill, so see here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here.

Lesson Eleven – Group Work
Working with others can be vital in both personal development, and also achieving major tasks. Therefore have a look (and a think!) here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here (specifically, the group leadership bindrune), here, here, here, here (warning! The film reviewed in this post includes graphic and extreme violence, and may be a trigger), here, and re-read the key posts grouped under the following headings in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
·         Emotions,
·         (negative psychic) Control,
·         Balanced Positivity, Spiritual Maturity, Peace and Personal Conduct.

Lesson Twelve – Mental Rescue of Cooperatives
Read the key posts grouped under the following headings in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
·         Regression-Rescue and Spirit Rescue,

and then look at this.

Lesson Thirteen – Other Development and Finding a teacher
Read the key posts grouped under the following headings in the “keynote posts” section of this post, look also at this, this, this, this, this, this, and here, here, here, and work through as you are drawn to.
·         Regression-Rescue and Spirit Rescue,
·         Psychic Attack,
·         Reality including Karma,
·         Chakras,
·         Healing and Other techniques,
·         Religion, paths and Change,
·         Balanced Positivity, Spiritual Maturity, Peace and Personal Conduct.

Next, do an Internet search on the topic of finding a good teacher, one who is genuinely experienced, encourages and is OK with questions and independent thought, and is aware of and respects the need for safety, compliance with the law and not discriminating or taking advantage of people. Ignore any post that has the work ‘easy’ in the title. You may have to find a few people as sometimes, no matter how good the teacher is, they simply may not be compatible with your learning style.

Now, over to you …

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
