As a reminder, I started this meditation regime based on the idea of
generating the energy of peace, as set out in the channelled teachings of “The Nine” in Phyllis V. Schlemmer's "The Only Planet of
Choice" (see p. 279 - well, in my copy at least :) ), which was the follow up to the
brilliant "Briefing
for the Landing on Planet Earth" by Stuart Holroyd. “The Nine” proposed getting twelve (or a
minimum of three) people to meditate for eighteen minutes (or a minimum
of nine minutes) at 9 PM Sunday in Jerusalem, which is based on using the Magickal
Principle of Harmony (of time), from the Watery Magickal Law of Frequency,
and the Magickal
Principle of Effect, from the Earthy Magickal
Law of Strength and Common Sense. In other
words, get everyone working together, at the same time, and as many people as
possible, for as much impact as possible. Now, that is valid, but getting
people to work at the same time across the world is an incredibly difficult
proposition – and, in my experience (including
for multinational companies in my day job) leads to fewer people taking
part. That experience also includes my time at the Correllian Shrine of the Crystal Web,
where one member (not me) pointed out
that having people perform work at the same hour by their local time can build
up a wave of energy going around the entire planet, which is the Magickal Principle
of Dynamism from the Fiery Magickal Law
of the Taijitu. That worked well there, and so I have adopted it
for these meditations. I also am happy for every person who wants to contribute
to do so, rather than waiting until there is a group of a minimum size, which
relies on harmony of focus being a way of overcoming physical separation (which is the Magickal Principle of Magickal Distance, from the Airy Magickal Law of Distance). I also include the use of clearing,
so there is more than one difference to the original proposal. However, the
more people who join in, the better. I would also like to point out that other
people have been working on the use of coordinated, group meditation for
beneficial effect, including the Lucis
Trust's Triangles network (which has been running for many decades, since
before World War Part Two, I think), the Correllian Tradition's 'Spiritual War for Peace'
(begun in 2014), the Healing Minute started by the
late, great Harry
Edwards (held at 10Am and 10PM local time each day, and one can pay to be
officially registered. This also has been running for decades); and a Druid
ritual
for peace, to be performed at each Full Moon (begun in 2014, I think).
Now, as a preliminary point, I was surprised to learn, this week, that
the highly
controversial Russian Rasputin – yes that
one, the one Boney M sang about - was a pacifist,
and urged the Tsar to take the path
of peace in what is called the Second Balkan War. There seems to
have also been the possibility that he could have had a similar pacifying
influence in July, 1914 – had he not been stabbed
and was still been recuperating in hospital.
The woman who stabbed Rasputin, Khionia Guseva, was
locked in an asylum afterwards. That may have been for political or legal
convenience, or it may have been medically justified, but … what if she was possessed,
rather than insane? That’s a useful reminder of the importance of basic psychic
skills, and rescue and clearing (refer to
the links in my signature block for more on those).
I first started looking in to this as a result of a BBC online article:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/guides/z26bjxs#zsvdhyc,
which I wound up looking at after I started research to see what others had
thought of the possibility of avoiding World War Part One – and it seems that,
if the violence in 1914 had been delayed, or limited to a small conflict, it
would have been possible to avoid the larger world wide violence. Of course,
the question then becomes, what would the world have been like? Obviously,
Hitler wouldn’t have come to power on the basis of the “stab in the back”
conspiracy lunacy, and thus no Holocaust and no World War Part Two, and no
Russian Revolution and no Cold War but would the empires have been swept away?
Would women have had a boost to employment and other rights? Would the massive
changes in social attitudes that have led to a world more committed to equality
and less inclined to automatic obedience of the upper classes? I’ve found a
book which looks at a few scenarios, some better and some worse, and am looking
forward to getting it one day. The book is “Archduke Franz Ferdinand Lives! A without
World War 1”, by Richard Ned Lebow (it
even seems that the Archduke himself would have made some good changes to the
Austro-Hungarian Empire, had he lived).
( * I have eventually got a copy of the book, and briefly discus it here.)

So, from the troubles of a century ago, to the troubles of today …
Matters from this week include the following (opportunities
are shown in green; good news is shown in

some of these links may contain triggers around issues such as violence, sexual
assault, discrimination, etc):
- there are some seriously dangerous events happening in Europe, courtesy of Russia’s aggressiveness: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-29956277;
- an interesting comment on the lack of significance of the G20 summit, and - concerningly - the tensions between China and the USA: http://www.theage.com.au/comment/australia-has-ringside-seat-as-obama-xi-stake-claims-on-asia-pacific-20141110-11jlvy.html;

- is this Putin, or someone else flexing their muscle and trying for intimidation? Some good balancing points from Defence, though, and subsequently the Russians tried to defuse tensions: http://www.theage.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/russia-sends-warships-towards-australia-before-g20-meeting-20141112-11lc4z.html;
- the UN has established an internal Board of Inquiry (sic) into casualties and damages at UN properties in the Gaza Strip, which should be BPLF protected so it can do its work;
- there has been another appalling attack on an educational institution in Nigeria (Boko Haram’s name means no more Western education, I understand), which I’ve lit candles in my online shrines of Tiewaz, Cweorth and Berkana for, with the following message: “May those who have been injured or affected by the bombing in Nigeria be given all BPLF healing and assistance as is for the Highest Spiritual Good, those who have died be BPLF assisted to pass over, and those responsible found and brought to BPLF justice”, and will now continue clearing any nonBPLF units being used by those terrorists, and send positive energy to those seeking to counter that group (this is also leading to thousands of people fleeing to Cameroon);
- the UN has released a report about the abuses of Da’esh, which confirms this groups evil, and the need to oppose them for the sake of the people being oppressed by that group;
- access has been granted to an African Union-UN investigation team to the site of alleged mass rapes in Darfur, with initial results being that nothing had happened (why the restriction on access? To allow a cover-up? If nothing happened, why not let the investigators in?). Investigations are continuing, and the UN has noted that some villagers may have been moved;
- food relief has arrived in South Sudan, but food and other assistance is urgently needed in the north eastern region of the Central African Republic, there is a funding shortfall for refugees in Kenya, and there is a warning of a winter crisis for displaced Syrians and Iraqis;
- there is a proposal for a ceasefire in Syria;
- seasonal flooding in Somalia has affected 50,000 people;
- there has been some good news in Iraq, something I would consider a good step towards what I would perhaps call, “normalisation”;
- a Malaysian court has declared an anti-transgender law unconstitutional (coincidentally, a trans story here);
- there continues to be a need for reform and political action, especially with regard to minorities, in Myanmar (also see here);
- Armenia and Azerbaijan are stumbling on the precipice of war – again;
- China and the USA’s recent agreement on climate change is commendable, and an excellent to my nation’s attempts – you idiot, Tony Abbott - to keep climate change off the agenda of the G20 conference (apparently the G20 was effective at preventing the GFC becoming a worldwide depression – see here). Incidentally, there are a series of related meetings, and at least one is urging that climate change and youth unemployment be considered;
- the UN reports that the security situation in Liberia is no longer at risk because of the Ebola crisis;
- the WHO has warned of the dangers of indoor pollution, which is similar to the massive air pollution problems in Ulaanbaatar in winter, when the poorer people on the outskirts wind up burning shredded tyres to keep warm in the -50°C temperatures – a problem I tried unsuccessfully to get some companies interested in, along with the spring flooding problem there that kills people almost every year;
- Human Rights Watch has reported on suppression of opposition in Cambodia, flaws in the USA’s investigation of torture, problems obtaining pain medication in Russia, and that the Health Minister stood up for doctors, the problems of prison rape in the USA (a problem that happens elsewhere as well), gangs in Iraq, Uganda’s anti-LGBT moves, and Australia’s grovelling at China’s feet.

Please see here and my post "The
Death of Wikipedia" for the
reasons I now recommend caution when using Wikipedia. I'm also exploring use of
h2g2, although that doesn't appear to be as
extensive (h2g2 is intended - rather
engagingly - to be the Earth edition of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to
the Galaxy").

My "blogiography" (list of all posts and guide as to how to best use this site) is here, and my glossary/index is here.
I started this blog to cover karmic regression-rescue (see here and here), and it grew ... See here for my group mind project, here and here for my "Pagans for Peace" project (and join me at 9 PM on Sunday, wherever you are, to meditate for peace), and here for my bindrune kit-bag. I also strongly recommend learning how to flame, ground and shield, do alternate nostril breathing, work with colour, and see also here and be flexible.
- Gnwmythr's Stropping Strap: Occam's Razor only works if the simplest solution is actually recognised as being the simplest, rather than the one that best fits one's bigotries being labelled 'simplest'.
- Our entire life experience, with all the many wondrous and varied people, places and events in it, is too small a sample for statistical reliability about Life.
- May the world of commerce and business be recognised to be a servant, not a master, of the lives of people.
- Being accustomed to interacting via certain rules makes those rules neither right nor universal.
- Like fire to the physical, emotions to the soul make a good servant, and a bad master.
- The means shape the end.
- As words can kill, the right to freedom of speech comes with a DUTY to be as well-informed, objective and balanced as you can be.
- My favourite action movie of all time is "Gandhi", although I've recently come across "Invictus" and might put that one in to that category. However, I loathe the stereotypical action movie - and, for similar reasons, I loathe many dramas, which are often emotionally violent, more so in some cases than many war films.
- All of the above - and this blog - could be wrong, or subject to context, perspective, or state of spiritual evolution ...
Human dignity
is the inherently cumulative holistic combination of human rights,
wellbeing and potential, and all actions or interaction which promote,
realise or facilitate same. The converse also applies: whatever
degrades, diminishes or robs humans of dignity, is inherently
undignified.
The “purpose” of spiritual evolution is not the attainment of “spiritual perfection” - not in the sense of not having to evolve further, at any rate, since there is no such thing. We need to evolve in order to grow - but we can take rest breaks (hopefully well earned :) ) along the way. No, the “purpose” of evolution is, rather, to perfect our ability to learn, and thus grow.
Jesus loves you. Odin wants you to grow up.

We make our decisions. And then our decisions turn around and make us.

Females, get over 'cute'. Get competent. Get trained. Get capable. Get over 'cute'. And those of you who are called Patty and Debby and Suzy, get over that. Because we use those names to infantalise females – we keep females in their 'little girl' state by the names we use for them. Get over it. If you want to be taken seriously, get serious.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good [people] to do nothing.

We didn't inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we only borrowed it from our children

True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar; it is not haphazard and superficial. It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
There are risks and costs to a program of
action. But they are far less than the long-range risks and costs of
comfortable inaction.
