After having watched someone - admittedly, someone who has significant personal problems and issues, but nevertheless was capable of behaving better - try to sabotage a handfasting because they fear becoming irrelevant to the friend who was getting handfasted, I've decided I also need to start using the term "social troll" to cover the sort of person just referred to - and, perhaps, the sort of person who needs to read this.
Choosing to be an adult and behave decently is no different to keeping one's aura closed: it is a fundamental of being an adult.
(The person concerned also needs the energy of the bind-runes for maturity [see here] and courage [on the group leadership set of symbols], the runes Aesc [or Ur or Yr or Eihwaz], and possibly one or more of the bind-runes for calm, civility, equanimity, perspective, reasonableness, respect - and a stack of clearing of nonBPLF units, and a bit of standard healing. The help also needs to extend to the victims of this person, but those are details I won't go in to now.)
