Post No. 1,630 - Magickal Battle of the World - Weekly Meditation - Week No. 16 - Countering Adaptations

Black Lives Matter!
Stay safe - wash your hands, practice social distancing and wear a face mask in public, and follow informed medical advice - and be considerate towards those at risk or in situations of vulnerability (including economic) while the COVID-19 pandemic is a problem.
I have been writing about improving the world through a range of means on my blogs: this blog has been focused on spiritual and psychic means, including strengthening  BPM  units and clearing nonBPM units, and meditation to generate BPM energy (and units, if you know enough).
This has been done before - particularly during times of crisis.
The climate crisis has been our World War III for some time (with the denialists being, at the very least, the WW3 equivalents of Quisling, Vichy France, etc), and we now have the COVID-19  pandemic, caused by the zoonotic  SARS-CoV-2  novel coronavirus (there are other novel coronaviruses), on top of that.
World War II was probably the biggest global crisis before our current dual crises, and during those terrible events, there were a number of people undertaking magickal work, including  the work by Dion Fortune (there were others) outlined in the Gareth Knight edited book "The Magical Battle of Britain" (my copy pub. Skylight Press, 2012, ISBN 978-1-908011-45-9), which I reviewed here. Ms Fortune directed her team through a series of 136 weekly and (I think) 19 monthly meditations (I originally intended to publish a list at some stage, but it’s so long and comprehensive that I’m concerned about breaching copyright, so I may either see if I can find an online list, or publish something listing the broad themes only). At the end of this, she was exhausted, and that work is considered to have contributed to her death, but a change for the better had been accomplished.
We already have a lot of people doing a lot of work on making the world a better place (including before the current crises), but I would like to extend my contribution to also include a series of weekly - or near weekly - meditations along the line of those directed by Ms Fortune.
I am proposing this be added to the Sunday meditations which are part of my regular psychic work. For convenience, an outline of the meditation is provided at the end of this post.
The notes on each week’s meditation will probably be brief to the point of being terse.

This Week: No. 16 - Countering Adaptations
During physical wartime, considerable effort is devoted to trying to find out what one’s enemies are doing, and all sides (there may be more than two) are trying to out-innovate the other(s).
As examples, during the battles of the Atlantic last century, submarines were developed as a new weapon, and protected convoys were developed as a response to submarines - which then went through multiple other adaptations (wolf packs, new detection and attack methods, and so on).
The same potentially can happen if you are struggling against a psychic opponent, or trying to stop someone harming others. In the overwhelming majority of cases, the problems are caused by people as a result of grief, fear, or some unbalanced response to a distressing, unpleasant, or damaging situation: heal the emotions, and the situation can typically be dealt with fairly easily - certainly with no more rounds than dealing with a petulant toddler, say.
In fact, in my experience, the biggest problem is actually the lack of discipline and naïveté of the people trying to do the helping - especially the lack of practice at using techniques such as flaming. I refer you again to the post on proficiency. This set of problems also includes coming across someone who is simply more advanced than you - which is not a form of adaptation on their part, it is a little like an analogy I heard when I was a kid: being up to lesson three of a self defence class, and coming across someone who is up to lesson five.
However, my experience is that one every few hundred, maybe one in a thousand, times, you will find yourself working on an uncooperative - someone who knows they’re dead, and is either hurt enough or malicious enough to be consciously and deliberately using that to harm others.
Examples of that could be the torture victim trying to get even with their torturers, or the murder victim who is angry at those who failed to protect them and wants - effectively - an apology, or a worker who died as a result of someone else’s carelessness and wants that person to also suffer. All basically human, but, when those emotions are being channelled into harming others, in need of modification and, if possible, healing.
Even more rare is the sadistic sociopath or psychopath, and rarer again the truly evil person.
I want to caution here that uncooperatives do not include those people who are so damaged or self loathing that they reject healing, help and BPM energies. That happens commonly enough in the physical world with things like internalised sexism / homophobia / transphobia / biphobia, and being a victim of sexual assault and other forms of abuse. Such people need healing, support, and gentleness.
However, this post is not about that form of discernment.
Going back to uncooperatives, my experience is that when you unfortunately do come across them, they are likely to have networked and - as much they can - be working together. Their alliances tend to be inherently fragile, which can be used against them, but, again, that is a topic for another time.
On adaptations, there are two types:
·       tactical / strategic adaptations; and
·       technique / technical adaptations.
I’m going to try using a table to deal with these - and, for clarity’s sake, just coming across those who are more advanced than you.

Response(s)
More advanced knowledge
More experienced people on your team or “side” will recognise what is being done. Your team also includes your BPM  Guides  or Higher Self.
Short term:
Defer to the more experienced.
Long term:
Study and practice.
Tactical adaptations
This is a response to a specific clearing situation - for instance, the entity you’re trying to clear may change from drawing more nonBPM units in to shifting from one dimension to another.
Short term:
Invoke creativity and change your techniques to match the change.
Check to see if there are links being used to feed ideas to the entity, and clear those links.
Ask the entity’s BPM  Guides to distract the entity so they do not have the opportunity to think of new responses.
Long term:
Not relevant - tactics are, by definition, about immediate situations.
Technique / technical adaptations
In this case, the entity you’re trying to clear changes their methodology of resistance, but no-one will be familiar with it.
Short term:
Invoke creativity and change your techniques to match the change.
Check to see if there are links being used to feed ideas to the entity, and clear those links.
Long term:
Examine the new technique meticulously: what are its advantages and weaknesses? Then bounce around ideas and options for dealing with these - if you’re working physically alone, work with your BPM  Guides  or Higher Self.
Strategic adaptations
Is there a pattern of change over several sessions, or a new category of unit to manage, or is your strategy no longer suitable for the situation? (The last can also happen as a result of normal changes over time, but the response is the same.)
Short term:
Not relevant - strategy is about “the big picture”.
Long term:
Do an updated SWOT (strengths-weaknesses-opportunity-threats) or similar analysis on your and your opponent’s goals, ways of accomplishing those, support / basis of power and how those can be undermined.
The
Update all of these on the basis of your experience and to suit your circumstances, and don't forget to do some adaptation of your own.

Sigils and runes for this week are those I consider advantageous for this work from previous weeks.
Cunning (caution, respect, integrity)
Scholar (learning)

Previous meditations in this sequence are:
1.      Introduction, definition of the problem(s), and Realisation;

3.      Together;
4.      Caution, respect and integrity (aka cunning);
5.      Momentum;
6.      Insight;
7.      Preciseness;
8.      Progress;
9.      Learning;
11.   Conciseness;
12.   Measurement;
13.   Faith;
14.   Proficiency;
15.   Alliances.

The Meditation (see here, here, and here) consists of:
 - appropriate and responsible protection (see here, here, here), prayer and ritual (e.g., here) to establish and check protection (re-do the protection, or re-schedule the meditation, if you don’t feel safe and secure);
 - establish a personal connection to your Higher BPM influences;
 - flush one's aura with emerald green, royal blue and royal purple;
 - fill one’s Heart Chakra (and maybe one’s Earth Star, Solar Plexus, Third Eye and Crown Chakras) with emerald green, royal blue and royal purple; send a weave of three streams of this colour from the Chakra(s) to a visualisation of a gigantic, multi-faceted emerald (which has been created to facilitate networking of BPM workers) through your facet until you see your energy enlivening other areas of the emerald and can feel similar energies flowing back to you;
 - visualise the rune / bindrune (if given - or, on Sunday, the group of symbols provided);
 - generate  feelings of love, peace, joy and respect;
 - strengthen those feelings (energies);
 - radiate those energies to the world for nine to eighteen minutes;
 - then, on Sunday, also perform the additional meditation work for around 15 minutes or so: contemplate the topic, and the spiritual (i.e., nonphysical) implications of it, and seek insights and understanding. Do not be distracted by thoughts of physical actions - those are necessary also, but this exercise is about the nonphysical, in the broadest possible sense, and the focus should be on nonphysical actions, energy flows, symbols, and the like, all with the intention of bringing about a change for the better. As a second stage, if you wish, you can meditate on any physical actions which may be necessary, but get the spiritually focused work done first;
 - when finished, close your chakras, centre and ground yourself and close your aura, use the banishing version of the LBRP to open circle, ground and release all excess energy; and make sure you are grounded and closed down – eat, if you need to, or seek help from someone capable and trusted.
