Black Lives Matter!
Stay safe - wash your hands, practice social distancing and wear a face mask in public, and follow informed
medical advice - and be considerate towards
those at risk or in situations of vulnerability (including economic)
while the COVID-19 pandemic is a problem.
I have been writing about improving the
world through a range of means on my blogs: this blog has been focused on
spiritual and psychic means, including strengthening BPM units and clearing
nonBPM units, and meditation to generate BPM energy (and units, if you know
enough).
This has been done before - particularly
during times of crisis.
The climate crisis has been our
World War III for some time (with the denialists being, at the very
least, the WW3 equivalents of Quisling, Vichy France, etc), and we now have
the COVID-19
pandemic,
caused by the zoonotic SARS-CoV-2 novel coronavirus (there are other novel
coronaviruses), on top of that.
World War II was probably the biggest global
crisis before our current dual crises, and during those terrible events, there
were a number of people undertaking magickal work, including the work by Dion Fortune (there
were others) outlined in the Gareth Knight edited
book "The Magical Battle of Britain" (my copy pub. Skylight Press, 2012, ISBN
978-1-908011-45-9), which I reviewed here. Ms Fortune directed her team through a series of 136
weekly and (I think) 19 monthly meditations (I originally intended to
publish a list at some stage, but it’s so long and comprehensive that I’m concerned
about breaching copyright, so I may either see if I can find an online list, or
publish something listing the broad themes only). At the end of this, she
was exhausted, and that work is considered to have contributed to her death,
but a change for the better had been accomplished.
We already have a lot of people
doing a lot of work on making the world a better place (including before
the current crises), but I would like to extend my contribution to also
include a series of weekly - or near weekly - meditations along the line of
those directed by Ms Fortune.
I am proposing this be added to the Sunday
meditations which are part of my regular psychic work. For convenience, an
outline of the meditation is provided at the end of this post.
The notes on each week’s meditation will probably
be brief to the point of being terse.
This Week: No. 20 - Evolution
One of the concepts that has become
more clearly elucidated in recent centuries is that of what is often referred
to as “evolution”. This clarification was largely spurred by the simultaneous
and similar work by Wallace and Darwin on what they termed “natural selection”
- which was an explanation of how species change or, if they fail to adapt to
change, die out.
The concept of developing was not
new. Sadly, it was clearly and wrongly used in ideas of racial superiority -
racism, yes, but not only by Caucasians, if you go back long enough.
More constructively, there were concepts
around development of the person - particularly in education (SIGH) -
although that was only for the rich.
Spiritually, the concept of
development was not as clearly used. My impression is that most of what was
described (often wrongly) as spirituality or religion was really more
about mundane power (even if disguised as a pseudo-spiritual “authority”)
or seeking a future reward for present suffering.
There have been, however, some gems
along the way - including the concept of reincarnation/rebirth, which
can be loosely described as being about personal/spiritual evolution, until was
“evolved” beyond needing to reincarnate/be reborn.
Over the best part of the last
century, the concept of personal growth has been clarified - and raised to the
status of being worthy in its own right.
The problem with all these various
applications of the notion of becoming “better”, or, in the generic sense,
evolving, is that they’ve often been applied through very flawed worldviews -
and hence things like the eugenics and other forms of racism, downplaying
sentience in other species, classism, educational and other snobbery, and so
on.
We will all eventually change - we
might be able to defer it for a long time, maybe even most of a lifetime or
even several lifetimes in some aspects, but we will eventually change.
The longer we put it off, the more
the change is likely to be catastrophic.
The change is not necessarily going
to be for the better, either. Just as some species can die out, so some
personal change can be for the worse.
This is not always within our control
- a child cannot control being abused, but will be scarred for the rest of that
lifetime, and maybe coming lives.
Nevertheless, most of the change that
most people experience can be worked with. We can choose when, how quickly, and
which way (good or bad) to quite an extent, once we accept the inevitability of
change, and choose to start working with it at the rate that best suits
us.
Too many people who specialise in
this area tend to view it as something that must be pushed at an uncomfortable
rate because they have the utterly wrong concept that speed is the only, main,
or a key way of “stretching” people. (I won’t use challenging, as that has
too many negative connotations.)
Such people also often, in my
experience, miss the fact that these changes apply to all areas of life. I’ve
come across a whole bunch of ways of viewing those areas, and suggest you
research those and choose what suits you, but what I currently work with are:
- spiritual;
- psychic;
- mental;
- emotional;
- relationships with Significant Others (family who merit it, and family of choice - friends);
- ability to work with others;
- ability to learn (and desire to do so);
- ability to pass on knowledge (“teach”); and
- physical survival skills (including a job [if it is tied up with meaning, that fits in elsewhere], looking after physical health, etc).
If ever pushed about my concept of
when we no longer “have” to reincarnate, after qualifying that worldview with a
comment that it is made more negative by the sad state of this world, with all
its inequality, self-centredness, selfishness, greed, materialism, and greed
for power and status, I will say something to the effect that we can stop when
we have perfected our ability to learn as much as we can in this world (see
also here).
What is more relevant, in my view, is
thinking about personal growth/evolution. Here are a few questions that may
help that along:
- does this detract from any other area of life (e.g., by being obsessive)? If yes, rethink, or replan - or, at the very least, seek some good independent perspective;
- how much of this is skill development, and how much could be considered evolution (remembering there is nothing wrong with skill development, if they are BPM)?
- how does contribute to me / my life / those about me / the goals of those I care about or have committed to (including any BPM groups) / making the world a better (more BPM) place?
In the context of this work, some
previous posts that it is worth reviewing are:
- Momentum;
- Insight;
- Preciseness;
- Progress;
- Learning;
- Measurement;
- Proficiency; and
- Motivations of the nonBPM and the humanness of the flaws that underlay the opposition.
I also wish to draw your attention to
the concept of using the earlier part of my blog as a guide to spiritual
growth. I have regular, if infrequent reminders about that, and have included a
summary after this week’s sigils.
I’ve provided that as further food
for thought.
In terms of the work of this
series of posts, the sorts of areas I would expect people to evolve in are:
- Psychic proficiency;
- Clearing proficiency;
- Healing proficiency;
- proficiency at Nonphysical Self Care;
- proficiency at Psychic Tactics;
- proficiency at Psychic Strategy; and
- COMPASSION.
Those who consider the first six
sufficient should consider my poem “Heartlight”:
You can not
shine from your mind,
unless you first
shine
from your heart.
This week’s sigils for “evolution”
are:
Supplementary: This Blog as a Course
This section is intended to be a guide to
those who wish to learn from what I have posted on this blog in a reasonably
organised way. To attempt to do so when one is looking at a mass of hundreds of
post, some more for my venting than anything else, is - of course! - difficult.
This section provides a suggested structure, a way of working through this
content and getting some coherent benefit from the other end of one’s work.
It is not set out with an intention of
doing one lesson weekly or monthly – rather, take as long as is needed for each
step before you move to the next. It is strongly recommended that you make a
fair dinkum (genuine, for any non-Aussies
reading this :) ) attempt at doing any practical exercises several times a
week (preferably daily) for at
least one month before moving on to the next “Lesson”. I also suggest
keeping a journal or diary so you can refine your practice and work – at least
for the first few years.
Also, where I consider external sources of
information are needed, I have referred to them.
This is also a good opportunity to mention
that I didn’t start work on this blog with a view to it being a standalone
creation, and am working on at least one book to try to present what I am
getting at more effectively.
Lesson One – Clear and Independent Thought
I have mentioned several times on this
blog the importance of “keeping your thinking cap on”, which is a saying that
basically means take personal responsibility for what you believe and think -
don’t adopt something simply because someone you know or respect (e.g. parents,
someone famous [which counts me out - phew!], or someone with experience)
advocates for something.
There are a couple of steps along the
path to achieving this that I wish to mention in particular: firstly, clear
thinking, and secondly, the adage
“know thyself”.
“Know thyself” will be addressed in a
later “lesson”, but in terms of clear thinking, I recommend: getting the free
on-line resource “Clear and Present
Thinking”, by Brendan Myers, from http://www.brendanmyers.net/wickedrabbit/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=50:cpthinking&catid=19:aboutbooks&Itemid=8
(which I have mentioned previously, in
Posts No. 523 and 486).
As you work through Mr Myer’s excellent
publication, keep in mind that my “reality map” is based largely on:
- the concept of levels of existence, most of which are NOT physical,
- the concept of spiritual evolution,
- the observations of karma,
- my observations of psychic effects,
- my experience of receiving help from physical and non-physical sources; and
- the concept - which I am working at developing - that I term “Balanced Positivity”.
That reality map is not inherently more
correct, right or better than any other reality map, but it has worked
phenomenally well for me.
It is also important to keep in mind
that my background is middle class, Western, and white (giving me loads of unearned privilege - although my reading, personal
growth work [particularly in the 80s] and work travels have leavened my
awareness), and trans* lesbian Pagan
(giving me loads of unearned discrimination and an enhanced awareness of society’s
underbelly).
As you consider what it may be, what are
the personal, cultural, etc background influences acting on your reality map?
Lesson Two – The Nature of Reality
Keeping in mind my reality map, which
may differ from your reality map, read:
- the definition of this topic in my glossary - and the posts referenced there,
-
the posts grouped under the following heading in
the “keynote posts” section of this post:
Reality including Karma, and then … -
read Lyall Watson’s brilliant book “Supernature” (ISBN 0 340 40429 1, pub.: Sceptre, 1989 - first printing 1986; first
pub. Hodder and Stoughton, 1973; first pub. in paperback Coronet, 1974),
check out Victor Zammit’s website (which I find a little … flamboyant), and
http://weilerpsiblog.wordpress.com/about/ and, finally …
read my Post No. 341.
Lesson Three – Know Thyself
Read the key posts grouped under the
following headings in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
- Emotions,
- (negative psychic) Control,
- Religion, Paths and Change, and
- Balanced Positivity, Spiritual Maturity, Peace and Personal Conduct.
Then have a look at this
post of mine, and try meditation or other personal growth work to develop
an enhanced awareness of yourself (you
will probably have to try a few techniques to find what works best for you …
and be prepared for possible changes of what is working best for you), and
start working out what you would like to change, why, and how. Look also at this.
Lesson Four – Types of Psychic Sensing and Phenomena
For the time being, I am going to refer
you to this
post of mine, which is based largely on Wikipedia, which I have
reservations about [2]. I am working
on definitions to post at my Glossary,
and will update this section when that has been done. (I have done a definition of ESP, which should be read.)
A key point here that many people do not
seem to know of is the difference between objective and subjective (e.g., see here), which I discuss at the referenced
post.
There is a general conception of
nonphysical senses as being higher octaves (in
my words) of the physical senses - so clairvoyance, for instance, is seen
as the nonphysical version of our physical sight. I consider this idea not too
bad - especially if one accepts Brendan Myers’ idea of thinking as an organ of
perception (which I do :) ), which
makes intuition the nonphysical version of thinking …
Also, read the following posts about
Patron Deities, BPM Guides and dreams: here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
and here.
Next, read this post.
This is just a basic introduction: there
are many other forms of psychic phenomena and sensing.
Lesson Five – Psychic Health and Well being
Read, consider, meditate, think about,
and conscientiously practice and apply this
post. Then read the key posts grouped under the following heading(s) in the
“keynote posts” section of this post.
- Psychic Attack,
- Control.
Look at this.
Lesson Six – Basic Psychic Exercises
Now, the first and most important part
of this is that developing these sorts of skills takes AT LEAST the same amount of time as other, more mundane skills –
maybe more. Some people have suggested 10,000 hours of practise is required for
such mastery of skills, so why not keep a track of how many total hours you
have spent working at developing these skills? And if it is significantly less
than 10,000 hours, don’t whinge!
Have a look at this post
first.
Of course, sticking at things like this
without emotional reactions is unlikely. In too many cases, I don’t think we
allow ourselves the luxury of being sad or flat or bored or tired for a little
while (if prolonged, you may need to look
at matters more closely – and don’t hesitate to get help if it could be needed!
Listen to your friends on this), so reread the key posts grouped under the
following heading(s) in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
- Emotions
OK, so now, having got that out of the
way, the posts to work through and conscientiously practice and apply until
they are nearly as easy as breathing is for most (not all) people are:
- my posts on protection here, here, and here, and also see here and here;
- visualisation: here, here and here, and maybe read Shakti Gawain’s well regarded book “Creative Visualisation”;
- grounding and shielding;
- flaming;
- breathing exercises;
- colour.
Now, next, have a look at this
post, and see if you can work out a way to use it to improve your practice.
Finally, again, read the key posts
grouped under the following heading(s) in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
- Psychic Attack,
- Control,
Lesson Seven – Clearing Energy
Work through my workshop notes here
and here,
focusing on the techniques for working with energy rather than the past life
regression content, and also here.
These skills are at least as important as those from Lesson Six, if not more …
Look also at this.
Lesson Eight – Problem Solving
In a sense, becoming psychic can be
considered to be a problem to be solved: how do I become psychic - or more
psychic or a better psychic? Ditto for spiritual, etc. The benefit of this sort
of approach is that one tends to be more dispassionate, and thus less prone to
disappointment or despair (remember the
post about practising for 10,000 hours?).
Now, re-read this post.
Lesson Nine – Consolidation
The best way to learn something is teach
it (or try to!), so … how would you
teach someone else what you have been learning? Re-write the notes I’ve
provided in a format that suits you, and include what you’ve
recorded in your journal or diary – which will be superceded by this exercise,
if properly undertaken.
Lesson Ten – Healing
I am used the word ‘healing’ here is the
sense of ‘channelled energy healing’, which I consider an important skill, so
see here, here, here,
here, here,
here,
here,
here
and here.
Lesson Eleven – Group Work
Working with others can be vital in both
personal development, and also achieving major tasks. Therefore have a look (and a think!) here, here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here,
here (specifically, the group leadership
bindrune), here,
here,
here,
here (warning! The film reviewed in this post
includes graphic and extreme violence, and may be a trigger), here,
and re-read the key posts grouped under the following headings in the “keynote
posts” section of this post.
- Emotions,
- (negative psychic) Control,
- Balanced Positivity, Spiritual Maturity, Peace and Personal Conduct.
Lesson Twelve – Mental Rescue of Cooperatives
Read the key posts grouped under the
following headings in the “keynote posts” section of this post.
- Regression-Rescue and Spirit Rescue,
and then look at this.
Lesson Thirteen – Other Development and Finding a teacher
Read the key posts grouped under the
following headings in the “keynote posts” section of this post,
look also at this,
this,
this,
this,
this,
this,
and here, here, here,
and work through as you are drawn to.
- Regression-Rescue and Spirit Rescue,
- Psychic Attack,
- Reality including Karma,
- Chakras,
- Healing and Other techniques,
- Religion, paths and Change,
- Balanced Positivity, Spiritual Maturity, Peace and Personal Conduct.
Next, do an Internet search on the topic
of finding a good teacher, one who is genuinely experienced, encourages and is
OK with questions and independent thought, and is aware of and respects the
need for safety, compliance with the law and not discriminating or taking
advantage of people. Ignore any post that has the work ‘easy’ in the title. You
may have to find a few people as sometimes, no matter how good the teacher is,
they simply may not be compatible with your learning style.
Now, over to you …

- appropriate and responsible protection (see here, here, here), prayer and ritual (e.g., here) to establish and check protection (re-do the protection, or re-schedule the meditation, if you don’t feel safe and secure);- establish a personal connection to your Higher BPM influences;- flush one's aura with emerald green, royal blue and royal purple;- fill one’s Heart Chakra (and maybe one’s Earth Star, Solar Plexus, Third Eye and Crown Chakras) with emerald green, royal blue and royal purple; send a weave of three streams of this colour from the Chakra(s) to a visualisation of a gigantic, multi-faceted emerald (which has been created to facilitate networking of BPM workers) through your facet until you see your energy enlivening other areas of the emerald and can feel similar energies flowing back to you;- visualise the rune / bindrune (if given - or, on Sunday, the group of symbols provided);- strengthen those feelings (energies);- radiate those energies to the world for nine to eighteen minutes;- then, on Sunday, also perform the additional meditation work for around 15 minutes or so: contemplate the topic, and the spiritual (i.e., nonphysical) implications of it, and seek insights and understanding. Do not be distracted by thoughts of physical actions - those are necessary also, but this exercise is about the nonphysical, in the broadest possible sense, and the focus should be on nonphysical actions, energy flows, symbols, and the like, all with the intention of bringing about a change for the better. As a second stage, if you wish, you can meditate on any physical actions which may be necessary, but get the spiritually focused work done first;- when finished, close your chakras, centre and ground yourself and close your aura, use the banishing version of the LBRP to open circle, ground and release all excess energy; and make sure you are grounded and closed down – eat, if you need to, or seek help from someone capable and trusted.
