Post No. 418 - Reading

A few reading links for you over the break ... enjoy, but, as always, keep your thinking caps on, and, no matter what comment I've posted about any of the links, I may not necessarily agree with the article :)

More seriously than my opening remark, there are prejudices arising from ubiquitous and FALSE ideas/"values"/mores around weight which need to be changed - for the sake of the health, particularly mental/emotional, of those who have the false ideas. In particular, the benefits of being physically active are not acknowledged:
As someone who has done quite a bit of lobbying on human rights issues, including LGBTIQ issues and Amnesty campaigns in support of political prisoners who have suffered things including being committed to asylums for their political beliefs, I consider this article is worth reading and thinking about.
