Post No. 850 – Limited Perspectives aka Amathia [Content Warning - violence, war, bigotry]

PS - I removed an ableist slur I had used
I’ve started reading a novel which is based on the premise that:
(a)   aliens have banned contact with the Earth because of humanity’s warlike tendencies;
(b)   some of the aliens have decided they will use humanity’s bloodthirstiness for their own aims.
Of for ****’s sake.
Yes, intelligent, advanced BPM aliens are minimising contact with humanity because of problems such as our amathia in not eliminating war – a sure sign of lack of spiritual evolution – and our propensity to panic and react out of fear – which is well shown by both the novel I’m reading (and hoping will get better) and the BS about Archons.
Archons are allegedly (yes, this is a conspiracy nut thing – see here, for instance) a network of aliens who are creating and harvesting fear and other negative energy and trying to take us over.
Now:
(i)   there are nonBPM aliens;
(ii)   there is a network of entities creating and harvesting “negative” energy; but
THAT NETWORK IS PREDOMINANTLY HUMAN!!!
And until we acknowledge that, and stop thinking that humanity couldn’t possibly do such a thing (never hear of Mutually Assured Destruction? Violent crime? Torture? War? Terrorism? Slavery? Poverty? Oppression and discrimination? Come on, if you think that, pull your head out from up your ****!), we have little chance of ever dealing with it.
The first thing to do is for each of us to do their shadow work (I've yet to come across any completely satisfactory definition of this, but you can try here, here, here, and here), and thus stop feeding it personally – and that also means stopping reacting out of fear and xenophobia and small-mindedness generally.
The assumption that aliens could only come here to take over the planet violently, or to use it for their selfish purposes shows a complete lack of understanding of the universe:
  • not all people are “bad” (“bad” meaning as selfish, or as fearful or angry or violent as oneself / “us” – or we consider that we, or people we know personally, could be);
  • not all people we have not met personally and got to know are motivated by maliciousness (do people who think that consider knowing them will magickally change the other into someone who is good? Are they really claiming to be so special? What arrogance! – and what a massive and spectacular failure to think ANY of this through!!);
  • those who consider others would only be capable of some evil that is so bad that only they could conceive of it are acting out of an appalling small-mindedness and downright nastiness – and also need to consider things in the world they may have limited experience of, such as Mutually Assured Destruction, rape and other violent crime, torture, war, terrorism, slavery, poverty, oppression and discrimination – all of which exist in this world, have been conceived of by humans, and are probably far worse than most people realise;
  • some people are genuinely motivated by a desire to help – and that does NOT necessarily mean they are hiding a flaw or acting out of a desire for warm fuzzies (and people who think it does are also acting out of small mindedness and downright nastiness – see also the definitions later in this post about bad faith and perfidy); and
  • OTHER PEOPLE DO NOT NECESSARILY HAVE THE SAME PERSPECTIVE / DESIRES AS US.
That last one is a lesson children are supposed to learn when they realise, at a few months or years, that their parents are separate beings to themselves. To continue holding to the view that others could only be acting for the same reasons as oneself, or could only have the sort of motivations one has personally come across, is incredibly small-minded.
I have a saying:
Our entire life experience, with all the many wondrous and varied people, places and events in it, is too small a sample for statistical reliability about Life.
Assuming we know or understand other people’s motivations leads to problems such as misunderstandings between indigenous people and invading whites over the concept of “possession” of land and thus war, killing innocent kids who are presumed to up to no good (because we would be up to no good if we were in their shoes? Or because we believe the lies and BS told about them … ), neighbourhood busybodies and controls aimed at stopping any change (also motivated by a desire to be or feel rich), being taken by surprise, wars as a result of miscommunication, etc, etc, etc.
There is another problem here, and that is assuming that a race of beings advanced enough to survive their child war stage and travel across interstellar distances, is going to make the same mistakes we have experienced in our lives. Their attempts to help us are not going to be like the perhaps resentful, ill-informed interventions of teachers and authority figures on ego trips – they may make mistakes, yes, but they are not going to operating from the same limited base and flawed personalities that we may have encountered.(Oh - and the notion that they are only here to take over? Ever consider that their planet might be BETTER than ours???)
This is the equivalent of us acting in what would be described, in a legal sense, as bad faith or perfidy.
I would love to say that some good comes out of this insanity, in that it leads to people taking steps to strengthen their minds or improve their spirituality, but it doesn’t. Some people think they need to things to avoid being taken over (possessed) by aliens, but the sorts of things they’re advocating are about as useful as crossing one’s fingers to ward off psychic attack. What is needed to handle nonBPM influences – whether they’re part of a network or not, is:
 - learning the psychic self care fundamentals (flaming, grounding and shielding);
 - learn how to clear – and use that skill; and
 - do our shadow work and develop our balanced positivity and spiritual maturity.
And the only sources of information that I have found accurate and trustworthy on the topic of aliens are Lobsang Rampa, "Briefing for the Landing on Planet Earth" by Stuart Holroyd (my review of that book here), and "The Only Planet of Choice", published under the name of the medium from Briefing and subsequently, Phyllis V. Schlemmer (my review here).
I may, one day, re-write this to be more eloquent, but I know that if I do not get something published now, there is also a risk I will either not write anything, or will write something so many years later that I have lost the passion (i.e., annoyance :) ),and it is not as god or impactful as it should be.

Please see here, here, here and my post "The Death of Wikipedia" for the reasons I now recommend caution when using Wikipedia. I'm also exploring use of h2g2, although that doesn't appear to be as extensive (h2g2 is intended - rather engagingly - to be the Earth edition of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy").

I started this blog to cover karmic regression-rescue (see here and here), and it grew ... See here for my group mind project, here and here for my "Pagans for Peace" project (and join me for a few minutes at some time between 8 and 11 PM on Sunday, wherever you are, to meditate-clear for peace), and here for my bindrune kit-bag. I also strongly recommend learning how to flame, ground and shield, do alternate nostril breathing, work with colour, and see also here and be flexible.

The real dividing line is not between Christianity and Islam, Sunni and Shia, East and West. It is between people who believe in coexistence, and those who don’t.

  • If your “gut” (your instinct/intuition) is telling you something is wrong, but logic and the available evidence is saying otherwise, the proper conclusion to draw is that you need better, more personally credible evidence. Your “gut” could be wrong, right, or missing the nuances / “shades of grey” . So could the available evidence.
  • All of the above - and this blog - could be wrong, or subject to context, perspective, or state of spiritual evolution ...
