Post No. 1,365 – Gnwmythr’s News Ed. No. 272

For the sake of my health, until I retire or change to an easier day job , I have cut back these posts.
(It has been another VERY busy week at work, so this is shorter and rougher than usual.)
Information and Summary of News with Opinion / Advocacy / Analysis:
Notes:
(1) I am NOT an objective or free-from-bias journalist (this is a spiritual blog);
(2) I do NOT hold copyright to, nor claim authorship of, any of the articles I link to, except for links to material I have written for this and my related blogs, and my commentary in these posts.
The purpose of posting these news links is not only to inform; it is also to
     stimulate a connection to:
      - nonBPM units that need to be cleared, and
      - BPM units that need to be strengthened,
     so that you can do the clearing / strengthening that is required.
That only works if you don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by this, so take it in small chunks if you need to, but remember to actively clear and heal! … including yourself. Note that clearing (rescue) of uncooperatives should ONLY be within your ability – if you get a sense (e.g., through meditation) or are told by your BPM Guides/Higher Self to back off, do so (many others are doing this work, including some who will be stronger), and content yourself with clearing the smaller nonBPM units within your capability – which will weaken stronger uncooperatives. It is OK to take a break or cut back this work if you need. Be mindful that the energies we use and manifest in our daily lives contribute to the larger soup of energies that influence world events, so address those as well (or keep them out of the psychic soup :) ).
Reminders / explanations about Sunday’s meditation-clearing are here;     see also here,     here,     here,     (here and also here and here are interesting),     here, here,     here,     and     this post reminds us to be patient and persistent, like a “speeding oak”, and there are notes at the end of this post about other options for those who do not like this way of working.
One of the biggest concerns I have about spirituality in the world now is that the concept of agape type love has been perverted into both a quest for emotional warm fuzzies, and an excuse to avoid doing the hard work of improving oneself and all that one does. See also here and here.
The themes that come to mind for my work this week, after I review all this news, are:
(a)   based on my interpretation of information here and here with Pluto in Capricorn contributing to a transformation of power and business (and careers) (until some date in the Year 2024), conditions are ripe for a change for the better in world politics;
(b)   there is an enormous need to clear nonBPM energy – the thought forms, unattached energy and scars of the collective unconscious created by millennia of violence, including spirit rescue, and healing the warped views, seemingly “inherent” biases, and other damage created. Also, remember:     (1) the counter to fear is genuine  EQ, clear thinking, and calm, de-escalating speech;     (2) where problems exist, advocate for being BPM and BPM responses;     (3) peace is powerful, but it is a process requiring patient, persistent and nuanced nurturing, and a blend of conventional spiritual work, clearing nonBPM units, and physical world activism;
(c)   dealing with th POTUS45 requires:     1. eroding POTUS45’s nonBPM influences and strengthening his BPM Guides - and giving those BPM Guides whatever BPM help they need to present a BPM alternative to promote a change of heart;     2. lifting the nonBPM influences from the shoulders of POTUS45’s marginal supporters to allow them to “come to their senses, and simultaneously strengthening their BPM influences;     3. physical world activism  – e.g., this, helping those who are doing this work including clearing nonBPM blockages;     and     4. ensuring opposition to POTUS45 is unified, cohesive and FOCUSED;
(d)   the major events this week are:

(i)   as the search for
humans rights abusers continues, further to the current map of genocides this week there are risks of mass atrocities in   Sudan, Cameroon and Iraq,

(ii)   ongoing violent conflicts and crises in Syria, Afghanistan, Mexico, Iraq, Burma, Somalia, South Sudan, Nigeria, Central African Republic, Libya, Sudan (Darfur and South Kordofan), Yemen, Egypt (Sinai), Kurdistan, the Philippines, Ethiopia, Mali, DR Congo, Burundi, Kashmir, Baluchistan (Pakistan and Iran), India (Maoist and other insurgencies), the Maghreb (Africa), Ukraine, and elsewhere;

(iii) refugee and humanitarian crises;   -   the political madness of regimes with authoritarian leaders – and all who put or keep them there;   -   and, specific to this week,     bigotry, hate and fear – especially of difference, and anything which show one’s decisions, assumptions and way of life could be validly questioned;     violence, power, and domination as a substitute for true, genuine and lasting strength, which is peaceful;    calls for virtues such as kindness, ethics, and inclusivity, and calling out of co-opting by neoliberalism and other evils;     possibly imperfect media coverage;     A CALL FOR REFORESTATION;     slackness, limitation of, and carelessness in thinking, lack of empathy;     double standards;     racism, sadism and similar perversions in the twisted minds of some of those who have power (including technological power);     some blunt reappraisals to counter misperceptions of “exceptionalism”;     a recognition – but not by enough people – that human oversight of AI is essential;     addiction to intrusive measures providing superficial responses - such as security theatre;     lazy thinking and misperceptions;     autocracies and autocratical thinking and acting, including in pseudo-democracies and flawed democracies;     brave struggles for democracy;
(e)   may all people be BPM kind;
(f)   may all people understand, accept and appreciate true, genuine and lasting (peaceful) BPM strength;
(g)   may people NEVER abuse, misuse or fail to BPM use strength, power, or influence, and may they NEVER countenance others making such errors;
(h)   may all people care enough to try to think as clearly, thoroughly and comprehensively as they can, and to act with as much care as they can, and encourage others to attempt to do likewise;
(i)   may people never make the error of Tall Poppy Syndrome thinking or acting;
(j)   may people never forget the importance of the human element;
(k)   may all people NEVER treasure democracy an freedom, and the responsibilities they are founded upon;
(l)   MAY ALL PEOPLE RECOGNISE THE REALITY AND URGENCY OF ADDRESSING THE CLIMATE CRISIS, AND CHOOSE TO DO SO;
(m)   may all else that should BPM asked for, also be done;
It is absolutely VITAL that this psychic / metaphysical / spiritual work be performed non-violently and as is for the Highest Spiritual Good – which is part of being BPM – on all levels and in all ways. Always remember (see here): Do you fight to change things, or to punish? See also here, here, here, here, here, and my comments about “authentic presence” in this post.

Permanent Issues and Thematically Arranged News:
  • Permanent issue: may all actual and potential BPM Leaders and their Significant Others be kept BPM safe, undetectable and inviolable against indirect  psychic attack, and may they have all the BPM resources (including an assured income), opportunities and assistance for them to be BPM effective, all as is for the Highest Spiritual Good;
  • Permanent issue: may all actual and potential BPM  Violence Interrupters (and Interrupters of hate / fear / anger) of be kept BPM safe, and may they have all the BPM opportunities and assistance for them to be BPM effective at containing and stopping – along the lines of the Cure Violence model - the spread of violence (and hate / fear / anger), all as is for the Highest Spiritual Good;
  • Permanent issue: may all people     (a) recognise, irrespective of the appearance of difference, the essential shared humanness of other people, the strength of BPM collaboration, the benefits of diversity, and choose fairness and inclusivity;     (b) choose to live modestly;     (c) be in better communication with the better parts of their nature – especially those who need that;
  • Matters warranting particular attention:
         this week on reversing the deliberate, well-funded, long-term strategy (from about the 70s – and the 90s) to make self-interest seem normal and a commitment to fairness (such as former US President Franklin D Roosevelt’s Four  Freedoms) an aberration (see also here, here, and here):     the entirety of this blog and all other spiritual work and physical activism I and many others do;     Bosnian children are fighting back against segregation in schools;     a suggestion to do away with front fences;     the practice of kindness;     the vital importance of ethics in decision making;     a brilliant analysis includes that, after the left failed to defeat neoliberalism 20years ago (“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now”), some becoming-opted and the working class becoming integrated into capital (“we are all entrepreneurs now”), there is a danger of believing the progressive left is “no more” – but “washing one’s hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless means to side with the powerful, not to be neutral”, and the well-known poem attributed to Pastor Martin Niemöller, “First they came ... ” applies here to human rights, so “the very human sense of empathy is a greater motivator for us to join forces to protect each other and to fight for a better world”;
       on other matters requiring particular attention:
       -   this week I found nothing in the news on the Rohingya,   Ukraine,   or   Yemen;
       -   “planting billions of trees across the world is by far the biggest and cheapest way to tackle the climate crisis [has mind-blowing potential], according to scientists, who have made the first calculation of how many more trees could be planted without encroaching on crop land or urban areas”;     there has been a “precipitous” fall in Antarctic sea ice;     farmers are standing up against “wilful ignorance on climate change”;    “rampant deforestation of Amazon [is] driven by [the] global greed for meat;     a major online retailer “has applied to have its greenhouse gas emissions withheld from the public in Australia, amid international criticism for its lack of environmental transparency;     China remains the world's worst polluter but [is] also a leader in renewable energy;     MEN ARE - GUTLESSLY - COPPING OUT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CARE;     climate changes have been associated with past civilisation collapses . . . but none of those had a global climate event, as we do now . . . ;     what climate scientists do at home to save the planet”;
       -   a predictable attack on a Libyan detention centre next to a weapons storage has killed forty refugees and led to a call by the UN for an investigation;    as a refugee who fled Nazi Germany hopes the US doesn’t turn its back on refugees, appalling abuses of refugees (child victims of Australia are showing signs of permanent damage [how can anyone involved in that be considered a fit parent?]) in Australia’s system - which is supposed to be administrative include what is effectively sexual assault . . . - and have possibly been exceeded by the USA, and, particularly following revelations of racist and sadistic attitudes amongst Border Farce “officers” (note my previous concerns – this is the notorious prison experiment gone mad), led to concerns that Australia is “putting relations with Nauru before[the]  health of refugees” and charges of “cruelty for cruelty’s sake (the bastardry even includes stopping accepted refugee families have holidays!);     claims the humanitarian rescue ship whose captain was arrested had rammed an official boat have been dismissed by an Italian judge who ruled that “had been carrying out her duty to protect life and had not committed any act of violence” and ordered her release;     more than 80 refugees are feared dead after a refugee boat capsized off Tunisia;
       -   “why America is just okay”;     “how poverty makes it hard to escape mental illness”;
       -   “we need human oversight of machine decisions”;
       -   “an app using AI to ‘undress’ women offers a terrifying glimpse into the future”;     a call for the world to grow up about period pain;     “members of a global network of rape survivors are demanding an end to the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war”;
       -   caging people to dominate them is a sign of weakness, not power . . . when humans use caging techniques in the pursuit of domination, they should be accountable for any resulting loss of life”;     more on the support and healing needed for children forced to live under violent extremist regimes;
       -   “human rights experts have raised concerns over the increasingly intrusive level of electronic surveillance faced by travellers in Australia and overseas”;
       -   a very apt pointing out that the conservative political right’s “concern” about foetuses hypocritically doesn’t survive the trip down the birth canal”;
       -   after the UK seized a supertanker with Iranian oil that, against their normal practice had been sailed into European waters, for breaching European sanctions against the Assad regime in Syria, Iran has threatened to seize a UK ship;     while “European leaders have resisted calls to start reimposing sanctions on Iran after the country said it had for the first time broken the terms of the nuclear deal it signed with foreign powers in 2015”, POTUS45 has responded to Iranian threats with a counter-threat;
       -   China has conducted missile tests (which aremeant to intimidate”) in the South China Sea; Chinese border guards are installing surveillance apps into tourists phones;     “China's mass detention of Uyghur Muslims [stems] from the 2009 Urumqi riots;
       -   protests in Hong Kong left 50 injured after the Parliament building was taken over by young protesters with nothing to lose (“last resort after being ignored for years”), leading to concerns of a risk of escalation as China says the Hong Kong violence is “totally intolerable” and the UK warns China of serious consequences if it breaches agreement on freedoms in city”, have been topped by Hong Kong mothers marching in support of students who protested against the Chinese extradition bill;
        -   North Korea says the USA is “ ‘hell-bent’ on sanctions despite . . .talks”;     an Australian studying in North Korea and arrested for allegedly spying has been released, following the assistance of Sweden, and has been urged not to return;
       -   “the federal government must do more to protect the Aboriginal flag, which people have said is ‘being held hostage’ ”;
       -   capitalism has ruined self-care;
         this week’s atrocity alert at R2P lists   Sudan, Cameroon and Iraq;
  • With regard to democracy (which can be measured [as can goodness],     requires  protection of minorities and the vulnerable),     freedom,     governance (e.g., here, here, here, here, here, here)     and     ethics:
       analyses, research and commentary this week include:
       -   a call for “sortition” in the form of “adjunct ‘People's Houses’ ” or “citizen juries”which my home state does use (see here, here, here, here, and here);     history has not ended. Liberal democracies must be vigilant and prepared to counter external threats. Equally, they need to recognise and address internal movements that, by design or unintended consequence, threaten their values and institutions”;
       of concern internationally this week:
       -   disputed claims of unification of independence movements (“three armies”) in West Papua;     after a major tech company was accused of flipping the bird at “New Zealand laws by refusing to change any company policy after it broke suppression orders related to the murder case”, it belatedly suspended an email alerting system”;     the RBA (which wants unemployment lower) and other banks are calling for action on the economy;
       on the US-China – and other - trade war this week:
       -   an overview;     POTUS45 is continuing his trade war, but, as he forgets other nations ALSO are patriotic, is losing;
       of concern in my nation (Australia) this week:
       -   a “blistering analysis of [a] disgraced union leader[’s] unfounded assertion that men’s rights’ are under attack”;     “a veteran journalist . . . warned [that] the ABC is being punished because of an ‘ideological obsession’ “ during an award acceptance speech;     after criticism, the neoliberals have “put the fox in charge of the hen house” on press freedom;     “under Australian law, a person can be jailed or fined for criticising a court or a judge, an action that is known as ‘scandalising the court’ ”, and this is of concern;     more revolving door concerns – which have led to an enquiry;     as education unions back calls to ban neochristian teaching in primary schools, Australia’s neoliberal, evangelical  zealot prime minister claims he wants to work “carefully” to finalise plans to protect religious “freedoms” – probably the exact same “freedoms” that want me dead;     “Labor's support for tax cuts is an unfathomable betrayal of principle – see also here;     my home state “wants to explore collecting and using anonymised movement data from the mobile phone network – which has apparently been done previously, but privacy concerns have been raised;     “penalty rate cuts [have failed] to fire up employment growth”;     a warning about “a handful of powerful private contractors increasingly dominating Australia’s foreign aid program in a way that undermines the national interest” (the comment about private companies having more capability is arrogant and questionable – especially given the biases that for-profit motivations cause);     fears around the economic harm of changes to “assistance” (repayable interest-bearing loans) for tertiary students;     a defence analyst says Australia may have to consider nuclear weapons (I disagree –nuclear weapons are a suicidal choice);     a Guardian Australia exclusive reports “thirty years after the Fitzgerald [enquiry], ‘corruption remains rife’ in [an Australian state] . . . state needs a new inquiry to address creeping problems with police and public sector oversight (my uncle left the police as the enquiry “didn’t get all the bent cops”);     in response to USA-Iran tensions, a call for more strategic thinking by Australia (“we shouldn't need another reminder of the danger of being dependent on energy from a region so volatile as” West Asia);     “the deportation of a convicted wife killer has been overturned because it could not be proven [the] Home Affairs Minister . . . spent more than 11 minutes considering the case”;     an Australian territory is hypocritically claiming in court the use of “spit hoods on youth detainees is justified – despite banning them;     as the costs of existing measures closes some community events down, concerns about proposals by the neoliberal government for yet more anti-violent extremism legislation;     while claiming the opposition planned a retirement tax, the neoliberal government has had a retirement tax in place for years;
       other internationally concerning events this week have occurred or are developing in:   Antarctica,      with regard to cyber warfare and other cyber problems (including AI) this week:
       -   the need to consider IT security up front;
       -   other events related to cyber warfare have occurred or are developing in:   UK political campaign;
       good news this week includes:
       -   a supermarket chain is “getting out” of pubs, pokies and alcohol (although those will still exist as separate stores);
       on development (in an “end poverty/thirst/hunger” sense):
       -   the need for equity (fairness) in taxation to enable funding for the SDGs;
       on such matters in my nation this week:
       -   from my home state’s Royal Commission into the mental health system:     the system depersonalises and is punitive;
       -   my home state’s youth Parliament”;    “five things Australia could do now to end poverty”;
  • With regard to the USA and POTUS45 (see here on actions for US residents, and note that the VP is at least as bad):
       -   an opinion that “Democrats should avoid pledges to overturn the Trump revolution – there hasn’t been one” (there may not have been a “revolution”, but there HAS been massive damage which needs to be healed);
       -   POTUS45 “has been accused of taking nepotism to alarming new depths after giving his [“out of her depth”] daughter, Ivanka, a prominent role in meetings with the G20 and [North Korea’s leader];
       -   this week’s stupidity from POTUS45 includes:   this;
  • With regard to violent extremism (VE) (aka, terrorism)     (ALL people advocating hate or discrimination in response to violent extremism are actively doing the work of violent extremists. This will be countered by “Cure Violence“, BPM counter-narratives, and good, old fashioned police work (I don’t name groups to reduce their publicity):
       -   according to this Wikipedia page, in the last week there have been 2 attacks in Iraq, 12 attacks in Afghanistan,   and 1 attack in Syria   (out of a total of 24, causing at least 360 deaths and 544 wounded);
  • With regard to refugees (noting the New York Declaration), this allusion to MLK, and remembering Haiti, Ethiopia, Madagascar, DR Congo, and the Philippines), asylum seekers, and migrants:
       -   refugee-related matters have also occurred in:   Malaysia / Australia;
  • With regard to other human (and other) rights and discrimination     (incidentally, NOT all people choose to discriminate so those that do aren’t thinking clearly):
       -   as “the first openly gay couple to team up in the doubles at Wimbledon” urge “more people in the game to express their support for same-sex relationships”, media company sports coverage is doing a good job of creating an impression of being sexist, racist, or both;
       -   opportunities to take action on human rights here, here, and, this week,   here,   here;
       on HOMOPHOBIA/TRANSPHOBIA     (including heteronormativity and cisgender-normativity and noting that trans kids are the same as cis kids of the trans kids’ true gender):
       -   unlike the recent controversial homophobic neochristian, many Christians are OK with LGBT people – and some are gay;
       -   other homophobic/transphobic matters have also occurred in:   blood donations;
       on white supremacist and other forms of RACISM / CULTURAL DISCRIMINATION and Indigenous matters (including land rights) generally this week:
       -   US police arrested a black patient who was taking a walk ordered by his doctor;     the challenging trek of five indigenous artists from remote parts of Australia to France for an art show;     the first words of Australia’s new Governor-General “were in the Ngunnawal language, which he used ‘with permission’ to highlight his engagement with Aboriginal Australia”;     my home state “is boosting diversity across local councils by funding a landmark new program to support Aboriginal people to become council candidates”;     one state ALP branch will take the “Uluru Statement from the Heart” to the next election;
       -   other white supremacy / racism problems have also occurred in:   education;
       on TRAFFICKING, and CHILDREN’s and associated human rights this week (from Thomson Reuters Foundation and other sources):
       -   “why child abuse survivors keep – and break – their silence;
       -   also on child abuse, including institutional, this week:   Michael Jackson fans;
       on SEXISM this week (keeping in mind the overblown influence given to testosterone, and the potential value to women of using anger):
       -   on sexual harassment/misconduct/violence this week, see:   Ecuador;
       -   other sexism matters have also occurred in:   Tibetan Buddhism (the Dalai Lama);
       on WORKERS’ rights this week:
       -   a chef’s suicide has led to a push to address mental health in the hospitality industry;
       on ANIMALS’ rights this week:
       -   Japan has given up its deceit about “science” and has resumed commercial whaling;
       on PRIVACY, AGED, DIFFERENTLY ABLED, AND OTHER forms of human rights this week:
       -   in an important precedent, a court has ordered the NDIS to do its job and pay the extra cost of special food a man needs (are we still paying the price for having an accountant head the NDIA, which is implementing the NDIS?);
  • With regard to spirituality,   personal growth,    and     psychism generally     (including empathy, revolutionary love, survival after death, good religion, UFOs (now “UAPs”), being single / asexual / off-grid / non-conformist / true to yourself):
       -   charges of bias and selectivity against biologists claiming plants aren’t conscious;     Paganism is big in Australia’s smallest state;
  • With regard to natural and other disasters:
       -   a volcanic eruption on an Italian island has killed one tourist and injured another;     a Honduras fishing boat has capsized, killing 26 people;     heavy rains in Japan have forced almost 800,000 residents to evacuate, with at least two deaths from landslide so far;
  • With regard to overcrowding and “modern“ lifestyle issues     (such as     smart phones’ environmental harm,   child labour,   conflict  minerals,   FOMO [which can be overcome],   addiction or unthinking pro-technology bias [new is NOT always good – see here],   AI ethics,   plane pollution,     and     work, busy-ness and lifestyles causing depression and burnout,   being duped by modern mantras,  management  fads and corporate misuse of mindfulness as a distraction,   failing“ at being well,   life options,   financialisation of homes,   agroforestry,   raising Prince Boofheads and forcing everyone to have children,   the “Earth3” model [SDGs + 9PBs]):
       on climate crisis (our World War III?) and other environmental matters:
       -   the LNG industry could be as bad for the climate as coal exports;     an assessment of Australia’s pristine Kimberley region;     “traditional owners and the Blue Mountains mayor have welcomed UNESCO’S world heritage committee raising concern about a proposal to raise the wall of [a NSW] dam”;     a Guardian exclusive reports that the former neoliberal environment minister, based on balancing “the environmental risks against the social and economic benefits”, approved a uranium mine knowing it could lead to extinction of 12 species;     “dolphin researchers say [New Zealand’s] proposed protection plan is flawed and misleading”;     “health risks associated with ash dams at the . . . coal plants”;     mussels have been cooked in their shells by a heatwave in the USA;     more guidance on recycling;
       -   other environmental matters have occurred in:   Greenland;
       on technology and science matters:
       -   a new development makes a product similar to wheat from air, water and electricity;
       on affordable, sustainable and decent housing and homelessness matters    (politicians with “investment properties” have a conflict of interest):
       -   financial concerns for Australians include mortgage stress – with some “solutions” being paying a mortgage until their 70s;     the problem of sharing with bad renters (I’ve been fortunate and backed out of potential problems  and this is another reason we need smaller, affordable houses – NOW!);     “an initiative that places young people at risk of homelessness in subsidised housing  . . . provided they engage in education”;     tech companies have been asked “called to further shut down anti-vaxxer content”;
       on health and medical:
       -   animals can de-stress students;     a former male sports star “has described the ‘overwhelming shame and guilt’ and an internalised narrative of masculinity that kept him from seeking help with his mental illness, in evidence [to] the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System”;     doctors are calling for an increased focus on prevention of health problems rather than just cure (then maybe it’s time they admitted societal and lifestyle problems such as insecure work and the other manifestations of neoliberalism);     a “Little Spirits” garden is helping to heal the pain of pregnancy loss;     a former police officer’s advocacy for medicinal cannabis;
       on other matters in the category:
       -   as someone who is on the receiving end, I consider the decision to allow so-called flushable wipes to continue blocking sewers a setback (yes, you can flush them past the toilet, so the label is not strictly misleading, but once in the sewers, they are a major problem);
  • With regard to education:
       -   more either / or stupidity over how to learn how to read;     more on bullying – which can leave physical scars (I hope no cretins thinks bullies are all innocent victims – some are psychopaths, and telling them how the victims feel is STUPID AND IRRESPONSIBLE) - and the problem of sibling bullying;
  • With regard to crime, judicial matters and policing     (noting (1) an uncle of mine resigned when corruption was not comprehensively cleaned out of the police force he served in, I have high expectations of police, and I consider all violence, abuse of power and failure to understand the impacts of their actions [e.g., see here and here] undermines and weaken all police – who are under incredible pressure, and (2) all people charged are innocent until proven guilty):
       -   a senior judge has put “a spotlight on mental health in the legal profession” (excessive workload and the nature of some of the cases are part of the cause);     common sense has overtaken the insanity of a US state which charged a woman whose foetus was killed (“lawyers . . . argued the state used a ‘flawed and twisted rationale’ that ‘ignores the law and ignores reason’) and the charges have been dropped;     international professional beggars;
      -      other crime, judicial and policing matters have occurred in:   Ecuador.
Location based News:
  • With regard to Africa, the Africa Center for Strategic Studies (and other sources) has:
       -   the problems of what is called “witchcraft” in Uganda – which is NOTHING like witchcraft in the West now include child sacrifice;

  • With regard to South and Central America:
       -   after a first six months described as “a bad trip” and leaving even the right dismayed, “Brazil’s Bar Association, journalists and opposition lawmakers have reacted with outrage to reports that the country’s federal police plan to investigate the bank accounts of an American journalist who published leaked conversations between prosecutors and the graft-busting judge who is now . . . justice minister”;
       -   police inaction (and sexism?) over a murder in Ecuador was overcome by the mother of the victim;
       -   “Venezuela's opposition has denounced the death of a navy captain held over an alleged plot to assassinate President . . . and called for an investigation”;
  • With regard to mainland China (may her growing middle class bring a love of peace and freedom),     East and South East Asia     and     the Pacific):
       on increasingly totalitarian mainland China, and also Hong Kong, the DPRK (North Korea) and South Korea (which need to accept their partition – for now – and sign a peace treaty), Taiwan, and the free but violently occupied nation of Tibet:
       -   financial problems in China;     new rubbish recycling rules in a Chinese city;
  •    elsewhere in Asia:
       -   residents of Indonesia’s capital plan to sue the government over air pollution;
  • With regard to the conflict in  sexist Afghanistan (noting that Afghanistan was once a peaceful and modern society, even allowing women in miniskirts, before the Russian invasion – see here):
       -   misogynist violent extremists are fighting in Afghanistan at the same time that they in talks on ending the fighting . . . ;
  • With regard to South Asia (aka the Indian sub-continent), The Hindu and other sources have:
       on India:
       -   “sixteen men have been arrested after a female forest official was brutally beaten with sticks by a mob as police officers watched” (the two police officers should be charged as accomplices);    the appalling problems faced by farmers in the Punjab;
       elsewhere in South Asia:
       -   Sri Lankan police have arrested two officials for failing to prevent the recent bombings that killed more than 250 people despite having received intelligence warnings;
  • With regard to West Asia (aka “the Middle East”) and Northern Africa, the Middle East Eye, the Times of Israel, and other sources have:
       -   the latest of Israel’s “hundreds of airstrikes inside Syria since 2015 targeting supply routes and infrastructure such as . . . weapons depots” has led to accusations from the al-Assad regime, “accused by the UN of multiple war crimes, including indiscriminate bombing of rebel-held civilian areas and the use of chemical weapon”, of war crimes as the 15 dead included 6 civilians;
       on Syria (where the Assad Dictatorship has lost all pretence of legitimacy, and partition is needed):
       -   “the Syrian government is co-opting humanitarian aid and reconstruction assistance, and in places using it to entrench repressive policies”.
General Comments/Information
(Dear Reader, please remember, I expect you to THINK when reading this blog, and I reserve the right to occasionally sneak in something to test that)
Many others are very capably doing this type of work – for instance, the Lucis Trust's Triangles network (running for many decades);     the Correllian Tradition's 'Spiritual War for Peace' (see also here, here, and here), the Hope, Peace, Love and Prosperity Spell (also from the Correllian Tradition, in around 2007 or 2008),     the Healing Minute started by the late, great Harry Edwards (running for decades);     the “CE 5  ET contact“ movement started by Dr Steven M Greer, which is the one which appears to most capitalise on the teachings of “The Nine”,     the “Network of Light”  meditations;     the 1 Million Meditators movement,     and     also see here, here and here – even commercial organisations (for instance, see here), online groups (e.g. here and here – which I do not know the quality of) and even an app.
Thus, if you don't like what I am suggesting here, but want to be of service, there are many other opportunities for you – including secular opportunities: e.g., see here, here and here.
Again, activism in the physical world is also required - see here, here and here, here, and, of course, here.
(I specifically have a role for healers on Saturdays. Anyone who wishes to be protector has a role every day. At all times, on all levels and in ways, BOTH must ALWAYS be BPM in the way they perform such roles.)
If I am ever late getting my Psychic Weather Report up any week, there is a default plan.
