Post No. 2,355 - Post Traumatic Stress Response rather than Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? (No, not always)

This morning I came across a suggestion to use Post Traumatic Stress Response (at https://media.licdn.com/dms/image/C4E22AQGH6EfsNVp0qw/feedshare-shrink_800/0/1673788455198?e=1676505600&v=beta&t=oQ9fRzLiB9s7Tg2c3unHL03s7jmNV63BUCpZQd7D5C4, from LinkedIn) rather than Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from a childhood trauma consultant Beth Tyson (see https://www.bethtyson.com/)

I quite like that.

HOWEVER, as was pointed out to me, "response" can also cover responses that enable people to keep living without overwhelming responses, whereas "disorder" conveys the reality that some responses overwhelm one's life and are debilitating.
