Post No. 3,381 - The evil of social conditioning and obsessions [Content warning - traditional gender roles, stereotypes, s_x, SA, bigotry]

I’ve been reflecting on the transphobia and other bigotries I have endured, and one of the major causative problems of those is social conditioning.  

In many Western nations, what people are taught often includes this rubbish: 

• sex is everything;  

• cismen are supposed to protect women;  

• if cismen are denied the opportunity to protect women - e.g., if a cis or trans woman is self reliant, capable, and independent - their value as a potential sexual partner (i.e., whole self identity and reason for existence) is, in their minds, threatened; 

• cismale identity is fragile, and threatened by (afraid of) the very existence of LGBTQIASB+ people; 

• as the only reason a cismale can conceive of for them to go in to a female toilet seems to be to have a perv or to commit sexual assault, they assume transwomen - who their delicate little snowflake minds are too incompetent to recognise as female - are there for the reasons they would be - and the cismales are jealous; 

• meanwhile, ciswomen are taught the delicate, hyper-dependent princess rubbish; 

• patriarchy teaches them to sacrifice their agency for roles to glorify and worship fragile snowflake cismen;  

• the delicate, hyper-dependent, snowflake ciswomen see any/all cis or trans woman who are self reliant, capable, and independent as a threat (i.e., they are afraid of) to their hyper-dependent ("protected") status and thus their value as a potential sexual partner (i.e., whole self identity and reason for existence). 

Of course, that has been written to take the problematic versions of social conditioning to an extreme - but not an absurdist extreme, as far too many people actually have been brainwashed by social conditioning into existing (it is not living) this way (but I note that many have NOT). 

I wrote recently about the spiritual changes signified by the Sex Discrimination Act (1984) in Australia, and I am more convinced than ever that, just as some businesses can be bastions of progressivism, others are dungeons of obdurate (often religiously motivated) holding to outmoded and harmful (to ALL) spiritual/moral rot, mould, and decay of the type I have outlined in the dot points above. 

The sooner those people decide to be mature adults and let go of the harmful brainwashing aka social conditioning (which is not easy - I have used the word brainwashing to specifically highlight that), the better for them, the people they love, all humanity, and all sentient life everywhere. 

The same applies to ALL snowflakes who cannot handle difference.  

Possible flaws 

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider: 

• there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”;  
• I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

• legal protections go both ways, so you are likely also protected against attempts to blackmail or threaten you; 

• mind your Mӕgan. 

I consider many people who are not outright fraudsters get themselves into trouble because they are actually seeking emotional validation for their beliefs - especially if they wish to talk about or “demonstrate” proof (see Victor Zammit and  Dean I Radin's “The Conscious Universe: The Scientific Truth of Psychic Phenomena” [Harper One (2010), first pub. Harper Collins (2009), ISBN 978 0062029096, Amazon] on that topic before getting in to any debates/discourse). I suggest doing the emotional work to be able to move away from physical proof and live with spiritual values and ambiguity/uncertainty - you will be more effective for yourself and others, and less likely to damage the entire field that way.
