After reading “So the E_st__n scandal is about politics? Silly me for thinking it’s about the mass abuse of women and girls” https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/feb/06/j______-e_st__n-scandal-politics-mass-abuse-women-girls “Obsessing over individual players and political chaos leaves less time to focus on the misogyny” (and this, on the clueless men, and this on their toxic loyalty), I have crystallised my concerns and thinking about the responses to the E_st__n file revelations into a test:
If the former, the response is part of the problem; if the latter, potentially part of the solution.
Possible flaws
Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:
- there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”;
- I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.
