Post No. 185 - I've made it!

A funny thing happened on the way to my blog ... I got shunted elsewhere :)

There I was, looking at my URL and saying, yep, typed it right, and there ... looking back me was a redneck fundie's bible study site from Hicksville with all the imagination and creativity of ... of ... I dunno ... an engineer designing a website? (Oops - smacks self on engineering wrist after solving a couple of quadratic equations to get the velocity and angle of the smack right.)

Yes, readers, I suddenly found myself at a Bible study site when I went to check my usage stats on this blog. Didn't last long - refresh and it was gone, and I've done a few checks since then on other PCs and none went anywhere they shouldn't. Maybe I typed something too quickly/carelessly and wound up there as a result of my own fault.

'tis nice, though, to think that maybe someone did try to hack my blog - it means they see what I do as a threat, and that means what I am doing is worthwhile. I've "made it" as a blogger, in a sense :)

Why?

Because some small-minded, definitely UN-Christian people have, if this was a genuine attempt, been rattled, and rattling the mind of the small-minded is generally a good thing ... it can help break that mind out of its prison.

I should make it very clear that the actions of such people are not in any way, shape or form linked to the original Religion of Love that Christ taught. Of course, neither is most of what calls itself Christianity these days ...

I pondered whether I should do any rituals for the souls of the attempted hackers and ... nah ... I'll leave them to the tender mercies of their own karma, their Higher Selves - and the folk of Blogspot Central, who, if any attempt was made against my blog, have evidently been doing their job.

So, rest well, all would-be hackers: you've actually made my day.

Love, light, hugs and blessings
