I also lit candles for:

• the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and Its Abolition;
• those killed, harmed or affected by the bushfires in the Amazon - and for containing and putting the fires out; 
• the International Day Commemorating the Victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief  ;
• the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism; 
• World Senior Citizens Day (yay us!); and
• a few other matters.
