Recently, around half a dozen entities joined with me in trying to bring rain to quench the bushfires which are running rampant over so much of Australia. For those working on this blog, that's a reasonable number - especially given the limited notice. However, there is a minimum critical mass to these sorts of things, and it always disappoints me that so few people in the psychic field get involved in these sorts of efforts.
I noticed that when we had the deadly bushfires in February 2009: I immediately interrupted my day when I heard of the fires, and tried to do what I could. Others didn't - I wonder how their consciences sat with them when they heard of the death toll.
There are some practical issues, such as those amathiacs who try to insist everyone works in the same way. Ideally, yes, that is better, but in the real world, reducing people's effectiveness to around 10% by forcing them to work in a way they aren't familiar with or possibly aren't comfortable with, more than offsets the increased effectiveness of having people working together.
There are also problems with global workings for similar reasons when people try to insist on working at the same time, meaning people in half the world are going to have to interrupt sleep, put jobs at risk, etc. This is particularly amathiac when it is possible to use the same local time to simply build a wave of energy rolling round the world.
I also get annoyed with people who get into intellectual details of traditions, and never consider whether they are a better person or not by following that path. That's the worst of all the BS arguments about reconstructionism vs. UPG vs. whatever other -ism people want to use to have a go at others and seek a feeling of moral superiority.
And in all cases, of late, they are doing that while the world burns - literally, in the case of my nation.
There are many things that need to be done in the physical - such as changing our lifestyles, living in smaller and simpler houses and stopping using them to try to get rich, preparing for bushfires and supporting those who fight them, physical world activism (which does not necessarily mean marching).
On top of that, hypocritical politicians using "thoughts and prayers" as an excuse to get out of doing anything, whether that is bushfires in Australia or mass murders by guns in the USA, is a major problem.
But for those who can and do work magick regularly, in my opinion, simple selfishness is too much of a problem.
Think of others, not only your personal development, or those immediately close to you. All the world is interconnected, and always has been - long before mass media and instant communication made it seem so.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).Copyright © Kayleen White 2007-2024 NO AI
