This originally was posted on my political blog at https://politicalmusingsofkayleen.blogspot.com/2020/01/what-do-i-want-for-2020.html. For this context, I'll add:
- more consistent and effective spiritual practice;
- a growing and better connected spiritual community.
I'll do this as a brief wish list for now, and possibly add more later.
- No discrimination against LGBTIQ+ or other people, and genuine
inclusivity. Bigots of all form, including
homophobes/transphobes/misogynists/misandrists/racists-white
supremacists and their ilk should at least be denied a megaphone, if
those who care for them cannot get them to shut up or grow up;
- An end to the right wing war
against action on the climate crisis, or at the very least for voters
to wake the hell up and not vote for elitist, bigotted morons - stop
being dupes because of misguided mania for mansions;
- An end to social judgementalism and virtue signalling as a substitute for being a better human being;
- Proper addressing of world problems such as the lack of peace, hunger, thirst, and poverty; and
- A job that is not subject to the concerning and poorly conceived engineering registration bill (maybe I can find someone to help me get self-published online . . . ).
