Senior managers getting junior managers to "get tough",
senior engineers getting junior engineers to think in terms of project
cost rather than community impacts, and transphobes insisting on
surgery, pre-disclosure, education, and whatever other excuse to cover
their hate they come up with, all probably think they're enforcing rules
of entry into their group (whether that be the management clique, one section of engineering, a gender, or something else) - a forced initiation, in a sense. They're not.
They're enacting brainwashing and control (in the sense of dominating others) into a particular MINDSET, and thus creating and reinforcing barriers to innovative, efficient and effective thought.
Medical staff changing procedures to enforce compliance on patience and police enforcing compliance are not doing anything good either. They - particularly and more so police, perhaps - are trying to BREAK another human being's spirit, just as horses used to be broken - and they are doing so just as violently. Afterwards, the broken spirited human will NEVER be themselves (especially if the coerced control is to enable a sexual assault in the form of a strip search) - and, just as with the misbegotten managers and their ilk, they are ROBBING the human community of something valuable.
Try talking with, explaining/educating, and even listening with a view to understand instead.
And stop thinking you're god. You're behaving like members of the Chinese/Soviet Communist Parties. Watch at least the first quarter hour of this.
