Post No. 2,133 - Lucid dreaming part of a mass dream event

One of the things that often happens and is often talked (written) about in the "alternative" growth / spirituality field is that dreams are where people do a lot of practice and training.

Typically, what is conveyed is that this is about personal growth - for instance, back in the 80s I read about a woman who learned in her dreams how to change a bicycle tyre, which helped her with a few matters in her physical life. More recently, I bought the book "Learning in Your Dreams", by Von Braschler, which - from what I've read and scanned so far (it's one of a few on my "to read" list) - seems to be an excellent manual on deliberately doing this.

That is very true, but there are two other aspects to this.

One is that, in our "dream" work (which is really astral work), people can and do act out various scenarios - including  making  mistakes

Let's say someone is thinking about leaving their job while they have dependants in an economy which would make finding a job difficult: that person's BPM  Guides could just say "hey, no, don't do that - bad idea" . . . or they could get together a few astral entities and act out doing so, so the person can "see" and, above all else, feel the consequences - especially on loved ones - of doing so.

That emotional impact would get the message through more powerfully, and thus give them the strength to say "hey, this is difficult, but now is not the time".

There would subsequently be other actions, possibly also involving acting out scenarios, giving guidance on how to endure situations etc.

The second aspect is that these can be large scale events involving groups of people exploring options.

Last night, I became aware during one such large scale event that was being played out - in other words, I was lucid dreaming during a "pretend" event. (I've never had much trouble telling the difference between a practice event and a precognisant or "remote viewing" type dream, but I know that isn't the case for every one.)

It was a variation of the "Don't Look Up" sort of scenario - end of the world, albeit not through either a "comet" or climate change; it doesn't matter what it was, as it was an act or play to make people aware of how they react to great levels of stress.

What was interesting was how most people chose to act. Some people, scarred by their life experiences to date,  may choose to act with selfishness, or to seek forgetfulness, or react in fear or denial (such as the COVID denialists' fear of death - but see also this), but many chose acts of kindness - making and sharing meals, choosing to be with friends, or to make the people they were with friends.

It was a heart-warming reminder of the potential for good in humanity.

And I repeat: it was NOT a precognisant dream, just an act or play to improve people's self-awareness and thereby make them better able to handle those real, distressing, but potentially manageable if we are less selfish, etc crises we are currently living with: COVID-19 and the climate crisis

I suspect many people would benefit from being aware that powerful dreams of theirs may be training exercises, not precognisance.
