In the midst of so much global suffering and death (and quite a few major family health issues, work stresses, and other issues), sometimes the small things hit us hardest - whether that is because we're braced against the bigger things, and this is a trigger to release larger stresses. In any case, our 13 - nearly 14 - year old cat Willow has passed to heart failure. He was an incredibly caring cat, always the first to welcome another companion to our house, and often interested in the wellbeing of human animals - his plaque will read "Willow - Agent of Peace and Love".
He's now with his brother, Saffron. He will be missed.
