I’m going to begin this with a reminder that the work of this blog is:
- clearing nonBPM nonphysical units (in a sense, doing the shadow work of the world), including doing spirit rescues,
and
- BPM strengthening of BPM units - some nonphysical, some incarnated people . . . and one of, if not the, best ways that is done is strengthening people's connection with their own Higher Self (which is possibly not what they interpret as their conscience).

Having made those points, here are some links that you, Dear Reader, may find of interest or value (articles by others unless stated otherwise):
- an examination of conversational techniques such as Socratic questioning (“a technique that a teacher uses with a student when both of them have agreed to that relationship”) and playing “devils advocate” - and that there are alternatives to those;
- this week’s “afterlife report” by the Zammits.
In preparation for tomorrow’s psychic weather report, I do a weekly summary of news links - every one of which is an opportunity to do the work of this blog, which I outlined at the start of this post. Before I get in to that, a CONTENT WARNING - some of the news links are about upsetting, disturbing or triggering events & attitudes. Seek competent help - including professional - if you need it. Content shown in green (which may be only part of a news story) is about what is generally considered “good news”, but personal history may still make such events triggering. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander readers are advised that linked articles may contains names and/or images of deceased people. Reader caution is recommended. For anyone distressed by anything in this post, or for any other reason considering seeking support, resources are available in Australia here, here, and here. In other nations, you will have to do an Internet search using terms such as “mental health support - <your nation>” (which, for instance, may lead to this, this, and this, in the USA, or this, this, and this, in France [biased towards English-language - my apologies]).
The news post can be accessed at:
- [CW - includes links to news reports with particularly disturbing details this week] https://politicalmusingsofkayleen.blogspot.com/2023/03/some-human-rights-and-other-news-links_18.html
One part of the post covers natural and other disasters, which are always an excellent opportunity to do the work of this blog, so I will copy that section here:
- on NATURAL and OTHER DISASTERS (noting Article 1(3) of the UN Charter):
- the Syria-Türkiye earthquake survivors still need humanitarian and recovery assistance (UN); a record breaking (R) cyclone (F24) has hit Malawi (TG) and Mozambique (AJ) - see also this (TG); floods have peaked in Qld (TND), but will continue (TND); a ferry has sunk in Gabon (AJ); a snakebite crisis in India, where it is discounted as a poor people’s problem (DW); bushfires in NSW (ABC);
Another part lists a few key points from the news, which are also an excellent opportunity to do the work of this blog, so I will also copy that section here:
- neolib conservatives are showing every sign of subjecting the Voice to the Parliament process to the same vitriolic hate that they have used elsewhere - e.g., on the Equal Marriage plebiscite. Their actions, hearts and minds are, IMO, evil. There have, however, been some significant actions in support of decency.
- another warning of the risk of civil war in Israel (TG); the ICC has (DW) issued (TND) an arrest (TG) warrant for putin - see also this (TG) (this is not likely to lead to detention and a trial, but it a powerful statement supporting rule of law and decency); the son of Uganda’s dictator is showing violent imperialistic ambitions (AP); rising global homophobia is an attack on democracy (SS); an HONEST depiction of what Drag Time Story Hour really looks like (The Advocate) - and NONE of those arrested this week for allegedly being predators is a drag queen (QN); “Tennessee Senate passes bill that legally erases trans people” (The Pink News); more concerning attempted religious influence on politics (TG); the abuse of history (American Historical Association); “fascism’s easy. But democracy and civilization? They’re hard work” (M); “governments must do more to protect human rights defenders ... Officials in many countries “vilify and target” human
rights defenders instead of recognizing the crucial work they do to
help build fairer societies, a UN-appointed independent expert said” (UN); the term “culture wars” is being misused (social media); as is entirely predictable, “[US] republicans [end the] investigation into [POTUS45] profiting off the [US] presidency” (SS); on dismantling the anti-vaxx INDUSTRY (Nature); US President Biden will sign an Executive Order requiring background checks before buying guns (BBC);
“Australia’s welfare system puts disadvantaged at risk, inquiry told ... Mutual obligation system subjects some participants to ‘punitive conditions’, commonwealth ombudsman says” (TG) - see also links on RoboDebt below; “AI can fool voice recognition used to verify identity by Centrelink and Australian tax office” (TG); the problem (HRW) of digital dehumanisation (HRW); a tech company has laid off the “team that taught employees how to make AI tools responsibly” (The Verge);
an investigation reports hunger-stricken families in Madagascar ARE selling children for food (this investigation was into previous claims of this happening, which were and still are denied by the government) (F24);
