Post No. 2,765 - Combining energies

Some time ago I started an exercise examining the correspondences etc for colours in relation to chakras. I am now formally listing the posts in that series at   “On line “courses” (on this blog) and practice exercises”   https://gnwmythr.blogspot.com/p/on-line-courses-on-this-blog.html   (and these and other posts which touch on the topic under the label   https://gnwmythr.blogspot.com/search/label/chakras%20and%20colours%20project )   and this is the next post in that series.

What I want to briefly examine here is the various ways of combining energies. In my usual fashion,I am going to propose a categorisation system - and I am quite likely to add more details to this over time (like the technical details I am adding to each clearing Form), so it is worth keeping an eye on it - at least, until I post the “final” (hah!), formal set of posts for this system.

So ...

The first category is:   Create something completely new from source colours (energies)

This involves a complete merging or melding, much as happens when one mixes paints or colours of light. The result is something different to that which originally existed - like combining red and blue to create purple. When you look at the final result, you do not get a sense of either red or blue.

However, just as purple is an already existing colour, so too could the result be existing or something new and unique.

This can particularly be so when dealing with nonphysical  levels of existence, as there are colours and other forms of energy there that we do not have in the physical.

The second category is:   Merge or meld without completely losing original characteristics

This is a little like making soup: the ingredients are prepared to make them easier to share their essences (flavours, in the case of soup), which happens when they are combined in certain ways (cooked, and also possibly just given enough time for their flavours to gradually blend together). However, they may retain their original textures, or some of their original colour.

In terms of energy, a better analogy might be the form of painting I was taught at high school, which was described as impressionism and used small dots or dabs of colour close together - which is completely separate to First Peoples  “dot  painting”.

In this system, each dot or dab or mark retains its original essence, but the combined effect is something new.

The third category is:   Keep the original, distinct characteristics but combine to create a new, stronger whole

The first sub-option here is to combine the energies in a way that can be adapted for various circumstances or purposes.

The original post in this series, examining the use of weaving or braiding energies (colour in particular, for me, but other forms of energy could equally be used), which was a development from a TV series (which requires a MA15+ rating). The post is   “Post No. 2,546 - weaving energy [Content Warning: mention of a streaming series with an MA15+ rating]”   https://gnwmythr.blogspot.com/2023/08/post-no-2546-weaving-energy-content.html

There is a second sub-option, which is to combine the energies in a way that is set for one specific purpose - which is a bit like creating plywood, where separate types of timber are combined in ways that take advantage of both the timber's inherent characteristics and ways of combining the grain of each timber to create something that is stronger the sum of its parts.

This is the sort of combination you might use if you were creating, say, a shield or ward for a particular person or place ... unless one of the other combinations is better ...

In fact, this third category could use either or both of the first two ...

Anyhow, some food for thought for now, and I’ll likely add more once I have completed said thinking.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
