Post No. 2,883 - Recovering from a corporate life - Episode 33: Joy

At around thirteen months after retiring, I am now in a position to start acknowledging, thinking & talking about, and seeking joy ... 

Needless to say, this is about the aspects of life I enjoy, not my previous day job. Despite that, it has triggered more personal growth work that I need to do - much of which is related to my previous day job ...

I am writing this series in the hope that it will contribute to a better understanding - or at least better research into the effects of - the so-called developed world’s economic systems - which are based on the world-destroying amathia of perpetual growth, and patriarchal oligarchical capitalism expressed as often expressed corporatism and neoliberalism.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
