I recently found the following interesting and/or useful, and am posting them here in case anyone else does as well.

[CW] Some of this is a bit gruesome - and the presenter is too casual, IMO, about some of this

  • “Should we do this to MAGA? Billionaires? IDF soldiers?”   https://youtu.be/jsEsTHN184k   This is an important perspective, BUT the harm that has been done by MAGA and the far right has killed and done life-threatening harm to millions. This damage is not made up by a glib “oh sorry about that”: it will require an active demonstration of genuine understanding of and regret for that harm - as well as genuine humility and acknowledgement of past intellectual arrogance in the left (which I have personally also found aggressive, offensive, and dysfunctional in communication), and PROOF of change in both groups

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider: 

  • there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”;  
  • I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.
