Post No. 3,476 - A frustration with the tech/hard science/evidence wing of the UFO/UAP/ET field ... and the sceptical aspects of the human rights field

There is quite a bit of commentary coming out about the UFO/UAP/ET field - particularly the topics of experiencers and (the Dr Stephen Greer term) disclosure - I’ve copied what I already have this week from the coming reading post below.

Some of this is surprisingly good (e.g., this), but some of it is frustrating - predictably so, such as reviewers who mistake the animals in the child’s bedroom for shape-shifting extraterrestrials, rather than masking memories.

I have also been catching up on a lot of older viewing in this field, and have been pleasantly surprised by researchers talking about human psychic/spiritual evolution/growth/development, and the predominantly beneficial influence of most - not all - ETs.

It is also clear that a  lot of re-reporting of some evidence has been sloppy - almost criminally so, IMO. And there needs to be acknowledgement of Indigenous and “Eastern” thinking on these matters.

But I still come across this predominantly white field showing poor awareness of structural discrimination (and overt discrimination, in many cases). I’ve realised now that part of this is because they - wrongly - consider being involved in an unusual field makes them “on the side of” those who are discriminated against -  co-sharers in pain, in a sense, which is actually utter nonsense.

Black Lives Matter shows how utterly absurd such notions are.

Of course, the human rights field also has problems, and their blind rejection of everything weird (the UFO/UAP/ET field) is one of them. To some extent I can understand that, as they do not want to do anything that could damage the credibility of the important human rights work they are doing ... but at some stage they will need to acknowledge their emotional and intellectual blind spots as well.

We all need to improve our consciousness (something I am listening to has just had a researcher spout binary gender rubbish), and work towards a better world - one not in the control of the Jeffrey E class, corporations, or those entrapped by the glamour of power.

At least some of the researchers are aware of the need to overcome war, as well as raise our consciousness - but any who praise the current head of the USA are showing themselves to have staggering blindspots and/or lack of perspective, and are promptly written off by me.

“The Real Disclosure Day: Scientists Revise the Rules for Announcing Extraterrestrial Intelligence”   https://unknowncountry.com/headline-news/the-real-disclosure-day-scientists-revise-the-rules-for-announcing-extraterrestrial-intelligence/   “New international protocols outline how evidence of extraterrestrial intelligence should be verified, announced, and managed—and reaffirm that no one should respond on behalf of humanity without global consultation.”   The last point, about global collaboration, is vital      BUT ALSO      While Whitley Strieber has done a massive amount of good for the experiencer and, more generally, the UFO/UAP/ET fields - including the bad experiences, every now and then he does something which makes me wary of him - such the praise at   https://substack.com/@whitleystrieber1/note/c-273311526   for the older form of the (religious [neochristian]) “Western mind”, which, as an Aboriginal woman whose people were subjected to genocide, a member of multiple minority groups subjected to the abuses of the patriarchy and capitalism and neoliberalism, and a human staring at the early devastation of the climate crisis, the so-called “Western mind”, a euphemism for “Western civilisation”, IMO, is not something to be taken as inherently or predominantly or uncritically “good” - it had its good points, but it also had slavery, colonialism, industrialisation, and the destruction of human, social, and environmental capital in Indigenous systems which created things like Yindyamarra, Yindyamarra Winhanganya, Dadirri, and Ngumbaadyil.
Finally, for the sake of clarity: my view is that the majority of extraterrestrials visiting this planet are part of the Gardeners of the Universe, who have the intention of serving Life (including the sort of activist intervention used by First Peoples here to turn this continent into a park for tens of thousands of years), and most western academics/investigators/experiencers struggle to comprehend that because they (1) lack the benefit of Eastern and/or Indigenous thinking, and (2) have been too warped by the patriarchy-capitalism-neoliberalism troika. When they get over an excessive focus on tech and physical evidence (some focus is necessary and good) and look at consciousness (including a whispered hint of personal/spiritual growth - of betterment as individual people) they often start to work more effectively with the complexities and nuances of
the Gardeners of the Universe + nonBPM extraterrestrials + other BPM nonBPM NHIs(i.e., non-human intelligences - which I point out includes a lot of sentient Earth-evolved life) and the multiple BPM nonBPM interactions that can and DO occur between those groups and the various sub-groups of humans ... AND those interactions can and do show the need of a number of those ETs to improve how they do those interactions to be more respectful and empathic

I may add more to this in due course, and wish to emphasise my frustration is with many, not all, of the older researchers in this field who have, IMO, a problematic emphasis on tech/hard science/evidence, and have not yet realised the vital importance of consciousness.

From this week’s coming reading pot:

“Beyond Disclosure: The Abduction Mystery”   https://youtu.be/VHNi44gp_Ic   I was a bit dubious about this before I watched it because of what seems to me to be the host’s bias against consciousness aspects of this field, but it turned out to be reasonable - well worth watching, thinking about, and making up your own mind (the description of two filmmakers not filming a sighting was particularly pertinent, IMO, but “abductions” have not stopped being discussed in my part of the world). The guest’s comments about timing of interventions suggesting we need to fix our problems ourselves as mature adults. I’m now definitely going to watch the documentary (when I can).   AND ALSO   From the director of the recently released “The Experiencers: Full Disclosure” (NOT the Spielberg film):   “The Alien Perspective”   https://youtu.be/qe0qHyl8Ynw   (2024)   - there is a second part, but that needs to be purchased or rented   AND ALSO   “Why Didn't I Hate Disclosure Day?”   https://youtu.be/GigW0ffAL54   “I went into Disclosure Day fully expecting to hate it. Instead, I found myself ... well ... enjoying it, and that surprised me. In this video, I share my immediate reactions to Steven Spielberg's latest film, discuss why so many people seem genuinely angry about it, and explore a larger question that extends well beyond this movie itself.   Have our expectations surrounding disclosure become so large that disappointment has become inevitable? This is not a movie review in the traditional sense. It's a reflection on Disclosure Day, disclosure culture, and perhaps the state of our society as well.   Just saying.”   AND ALSO   “Disclosure Day is an Activation (Not just a movie)”   https://youtu.be/hX-QUA4PMZc   “Stephen Spielberg’s new movie is more than entertainment. And the content is highly relevant to what we are going through right now.”   AND ALSO   “Jun 17, 2026 - Linda & Drs. Hurtak give a Higher Conscious Review of Spielberg's Disclosure Day”   https://youtu.be/yIEqGkDCOhA   AND ALSO   Not related to disclosure, but good information and attitudes:   “Walking with the Tall Whites: Aftermath”   https://youtu.be/H_bo2Wzxw1E   “The second documentary in the series, following Charles Hall as he explores humanity's hidden coexistence with three extraterrestrial species on Earth. Based on "Millennial Hospitality" book series”    (I don’t agree with everything said)

Possible flaws

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:

  • there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”
  • I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
