Post No. 1,675 - Magickal Battle of the World - Weekly Meditation - Week No. 25 - Overview of tactics vs. strategy, and how to use/change momentum (persistence)

Black Lives Matter!

Stay safe - wash your hands, practice social distancing and wear a face mask in public, and follow informed medical advice - and be considerate towards those at risk or in situations of vulnerability (including economic) while the COVID-19 pandemic is a problem.

I have been writing about improving the world through a range of means on my blogs: this blog has been focused on spiritual and psychic means, including strengthening  BPM  units and clearing nonBPM units, and meditation to generate BPM energy (and units, if you know enough).

This has been done before - particularly during times of crisis.

The climate crisis has been our World War III for some time (with the denialists being, at the very least, the WW3 equivalents of Quisling, Vichy France, etc), and we now have the COVID-19  pandemic, caused by the zoonotic  SARS-CoV-2  novel coronavirus (there are other novel coronaviruses), on top of that.

World War II was probably the biggest global crisis before our current dual crises, and during those terrible events, there were a number of people undertaking magickal work, including  the work by Dion Fortune (there were others) outlined in the Gareth Knight edited book "The Magical Battle of Britain" (my copy pub. Skylight Press, 2012, ISBN 978-1-908011-45-9), which I reviewed here. Ms Fortune directed her team through a series of 136 weekly and (I think) 19 monthly meditations (I originally intended to publish a list at some stage, but it’s so long and comprehensive that I’m concerned about breaching copyright, so I may either see if I can find an online list, or publish something listing the broad themes only). At the end of this, she was exhausted, and that work is considered to have contributed to her death, but a change for the better had been accomplished.

We already have a lot of people doing a lot of work on making the world a better place (including before the current crises), but I would like to extend my contribution to also include a series of weekly - or near weekly - meditations along the line of those directed by Ms Fortune.

I am proposing this be added to the Sunday meditations which are part of my regular psychic work. For convenience, an outline of the meditation is provided at the end of this post.

The notes on each week’s meditation will probably be brief to the point of being terse.

This Week: No. 25 - Overview of tactics vs. strategy and how to use/change momentum (persistence)

I’m going to begin this week’s post with a few thoughts on tactics vs. strategy.

We will be examining that topic further on in this series - which has been roughly outlined to around Week No. 81 so far, predominantly on training. Dion Fortune did not spend any time on training: her weekly and then monthly meditations were all directed at creating a thought form which could be used for the purposes of defeating the evil then rampant in Germany. She could do so because all those involved in the meditations had been through prior training. I’m not in that situation - I’ve done a fair bit of training of individuals, and have made a fair bit of what I have learned and/or developed (or helped develop) available both online and physically, but life demands have prevented me from writing the training book that I wish to, and thus I am working through this series - which, to be fair, is actually slanted towards capitalising on the opportunities and dealing with the problems of lockdown more than my intended book would have.

However, the work that Ms Fortune did, which I would consider strategic, is still needed.

At the moment, the weekly Psychic Weather Report posts are more tactical - they deal with what is happening in the moment, or week to week.

When I have completed the 81 or so post in this series, which is a little like training new divisions/soldiers/a new army to go to war (much as the USA had to do when it joined the World Wars, and the UK had to do after its army was largely destroyed in the early stages of World War One, I will extend this series into a more strategic approach.

Actually, I’m setting the grounds for that more strategic approach in both sets of posts now, but further work needs to be done before it can be fully realised.

(I would also like the number of auras I can detect doing this work to increase - that is, I would like more people involved. Unfortunately, that may not happen until the book is published, which is likely to be some years after I retire - if I can afford to.)

Now, on with this week’s post.

We have already considered the importance and significance of momentum in principle (see here): now, following on from the last two weeks’ posts, I want to look at specific tools for working with momentum - remembering that my goal here is to provide just brief notes!

Firstly, if we look at the physical world, effective communication - now generally referred using the buzzword “engagement” - is crucial; the aim, however, is the same as it always has been - to win hearts and minds.

However, public focus and attention tends generally to be a fickle thing. There are exceptions - for example, the horror and outrage of #45’s presidency in the USA over the last four years, and the sense of alienation many of 45’s supporters have felt over decades.

Throughout all of that, however, steady and constant minds can wind up being like lighthouses in a storm of change and inconstancy.

Or they can be overwhelmed and beaten down as rocks can be eroded by wind or water, meaning self care and avoiding lifestyle vulnerabilities (the latter is where I struggle - and am currently paying the price) is important.

Social movements are the sort of physical world momentum that I pay attention to, with a view to boosting the BPM (by doing what is now referred to by the jargon “amplifying” in whatever quiet, persistent, polite ways I can), and weakening the nonBPM - by quietly, persistently, politely countering arguments, and avoiding riling those whose minds I wish to change. (Sadly, the abuse of psychology that Edward Bernays committed when he invented business propaganda - generally referred to by the euphemism advertising - may also need to be used, but for good, rather than the evil of profit before all else. Studying rhetoric can also be useful.)

There is, however, a time and a place for large, noisy, public protests - getting rid of Marcos, BLM (still underway), getting rid of Lukashenko (also still underway), to choose just a few.

Those are, to some extent, owing to the strength of an idea whose time has come . . . however such ideas have often come at a time that followed long years - possibly centuries, in some cases - of quiet, persistent effort.

That effort has be intelligently applied, not blindly.

And it has to be persisted with.

Now, the think about all this is that influence can happen psychically, as well as physically - physical action is still crucial (one of the key tasks of many inspirers is to bring things through into the physical world in such clarity and specificity that the concepts can be communicated, discussed, and developed/refined/evolved - which is, in my opinion, the true purpose of many “deities”: they have helped bring concepts through into existence on the physical level - concepts that are so complex that humans generally latch onto just a few peripheral details), but a key tenet of this blog is that physical and non-physical can influence each other (this post may be useful).

Consider: do you know people who have a calming influence on others? People who it is nice to be around?

Now consider also people who jar others and cause conflict or tension.

Those influences are partly things like body language, but also nonphysical influence.

Just as it is possible to channel healing, it is possible to channel calming influences, or to channel disruption, stress, and other problems.

Thus, there are broadly two sets of actions we can use.

The first, the one that most people use, is generating and radiating constructive influences.

In my case, I find alternate nostril breathing very useful for doing this.

I am also finding, as with many others, the struggles of living under lockdown is also a problem - and an extremely stressful day job, ongoing family issues, and recent problems with our landlords isn’t helping (particularly today). That is where self-care etc comes in.

The other part is the crucial part that most people avoid: facing and dealing with the unbalanced/unbalancing that I refer to as nonBPM. Although a small part of this is evil, most of it is more failure to handle difference and disharmonious influences.

The techniques of clearing nonBPM units have been covered elsewhere (it is crucial that be done by dissolving with BPM energy), but in terms of this post, one of the most useful techniques may be addressing the clouds of free-floating energy - some good, too much bad - afflicting this planet. Setting up psychic nets, possibly anchored to crystals (visualisation and will/intent is the tool for this: that, and having a crystal or a few that you can leave somewhere so that they won’t be disturbed [that is vitally important: I had crystals set up to help newborns at a hospital my city years ago which was rendered unusable by clods thinking they could poke and prod and get up close to the crystals - I’m still trying to find somewhere as secure as what I used to have decades ago] - I won’t give a ritual that works for me, as I consider intent is far more important than an unbalanced obsession over details, so do some research, meditate, communicate with your BPM Guides/Higher Self, and develop through trial-and-correction what works for you), can be useful, as can doing regular psychic sweeps of your lived in spaces, your neighbourhood, your nation, and the world to find and clear anything nonBPM that is not attached to people.

This removes energy/units that nonBPM movements could access for their gain before that can happen.

The constructive equivalent of that which many people drift towards is connecting to power places: I’m personally wary of that, as it can set up a drain on those places. This is a little like having crystals: part of the duty of possession (I won’t refer to it as ownership) of a crystal is regularly sending energy back to where those crystals came from (you don’t need to know exactly where - the crystal does: just send healing to the crystal with the intention of it going back to the crystal’s original location).

I used to think I started heading into that when I started sending healing to my BPM Guides and Matron/Patron Deities, but it actually goes back to when I was a kid, and I would pick up happy rocks, and then take them back to where they came from when they weren’t happy.

The other constructive part of this is making sure that one acknowledges the reality that many people are doing this sort of work - often in different ways, but that is OK as it allows people to find the way that works best for them. Along the lines of the admonishment to medical staff to “first do no harm”, avoid fighting and competing with others who are also seeking to do good - which is an incredibly unintelligent way to quickly destroy momentum. Be, and let be.

But above all else, persist.

There are people who spend decades focused on specific tasks. That sort of persistence, albeit perhaps better directed, is what is required here.

Consider the lessons of history, including the centuries of struggle against slavery and sexism, and know that history is on our side, and persist - intelligently, with due self care, and knowing that others are also working at this.

This week’s sigils are for persistence.

The Meditation (see here, here, and here) consists of:

 - appropriate and responsible protection (see here, here, here), prayer and ritual (e.g., here) to establish and check protection (re-do the protection, or re-schedule the meditation, if you don’t feel safe and secure);

 - establish a personal connection to your Higher BPM influences;

 - visualise the sigil (see above) for this work. Think of what this work means for you as you do so, then, when you feel you have fully tuned in to the meaning of the sigil, see it as a portal or doorway (you could open it like a door [close it behind you], simply pass through it, visualise yourself shrinking and passing through the centre, or whatever else works best for you), and travel through to to a place created by the visualisation of yourself and others for this work. That place should have:
     (a) a visualisation of the workplace you personally prefer - something you can change, if you wish, as you yourself change;   and
     (b) a shared visualisation of a device to astrally share our knowledge, something developed in a previous project (still active astrally): a visualisation of a large, green, multifaceted emerald. Large: around half the size of the Moon; multifaceted - billions, for all people who wish to be part of this at any time; green - largely tied up with the previous project, but has connotations of nature and growth. One of those facets is yours - choose whatever location and shape you wish (and you may change that as you change [grow] over time), but in the interest of humility and sharing, see it at around human - or human aura - size;

 - flush one's aura with green (R0, G102, B0), blue (R0, G0, B204) and purple (R153 G0, B204);

 - fill one’s Heart Chakra (and maybe one’s Earth Star, Solar Plexus, Third Eye and Crown Chakras) with green, blue and purple; send a weave of three streams of this colour from the Chakra(s) to the visualised gigantic, multi-faceted emerald through your facet until you see your energy enlivening other areas of the emerald and can feel similar energies flowing back to you;

 - visualise the rune / bindrune (if given - or, on Sunday, the group of symbols provided);

 - generate  feelings of love, peace, joy and respect;

 - strengthen those feelings (energies);

 - radiate those energies to the world for nine to eighteen minutes;

 - then, on Sunday, also perform the additional meditation work for around 15 minutes or so: contemplate the topic, and the spiritual (i.e., nonphysical) implications of it, and seek insights and understanding. Do not be distracted by thoughts of physical actions - those are necessary also, but this exercise is about the nonphysical, in the broadest possible sense, and the focus should be on nonphysical actions, energy flows, symbols, and the like, all with the intention of bringing about a change for the better. As a second stage, if you wish, you can meditate on any physical actions which may be necessary, but get the spiritually focused work done first;

 - when you have finished your work:
     (i) send the thought of any knowledge you wish to store or share through your portal into the group visualised emerald;
     (ii) return back through the sigil; and
     (iii) close your chakras, centre and ground yourself and close your aura, use the banishing version of the LBRP to open circle, ground and release all excess energy; and make sure you are grounded and closed down – eat, if you need to, or seek help from someone capable and trusted.
