Post No. 1,774 - the Benefits of Physical Reality

My apologies: I wrote this in a hurry before work this morning, and have only just got around to editing it.

Elsewhere I have written about my (theological) opinion that the physical level of reality (and associated levels like the etheric) came in to existence after the non-physical as a way of overcoming the fact that "distance" in the upper astral and higher "frequencies" is basically a function of harmony/disharmony: you will not seem to be "close" to that which is not harmonious with you, unless you make a significant effort (that is why being in such places is generally pleasant - the "generally" is because we can't escape guilt and other internal problems). In the physical world, distance has no connection whatsoever to harmony/disharmony - you can be physically close to someone whose inherent energy (essence) clashes with yours, and physically distant from those who are in harmony with you.

I've further written that failure to deal with the discomfort of difference has led to the set of increasingly violent overreactions that we term "evil" - an attempt to destroy, rather than come to terms with that difference, as is being illustrated by the violent white supremacism currently seen in the USA and the current transphobia in the UK.

On the other hand, there is an advantage to being forced to learn to co-exist with difference: it reduces the sense of distance between sentient beings on the upper astral levels, and thus enables those levels of reality to be more coherent, unified and cooperative - making a more effective, rewarding, and growth (evolution) capable reality.
