Our lungs take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide; our heart and circulatory system (blood vessels) distribute the oxygen and collect the carbon dioxide for transport back to the lungs.
Our liver and kidneys have functions including purification.
Our skin - in the words of the childhood rhyme - “keeps our insides in”, and also provides a protective layer - much as the skin of our aura does.
Our glands control what is happening elsewhere in our body - and maybe that is one of the functions of our chakras (that is pure off-the-cuff speculation, by the way - don’t read too much in to it, but feel free to ponder the possibility).
When working energetically to clear, cleanse, balance, heal and strengthen parts of my physical body, I am aware some also have a nonphysical equivalent and/or extension - such as the previously mentioned auric skin for the physical skin, but also a field version of the brain which exists outside the physical body.
And one of the many topics I have done some online “research” into is the topic of etheric wings.
I’ve provided the better links below, but there is also the practice of creating projections from one’s chakras, or various thought forms including ones that we would now describe as having a form of “artificial intelligence” - Alexandra David-Neel wrote of one she created that, as can be the case, turned in to a problem and had to be destroyed (including reabsorbing the basic energy) by her.
But a realisation I have had is that at least some of the mythological aspects - specifically, such as (etheric?) wings - may actually be a manifestation/perception of a specific function.
The continue by earlier off-the-cuff speculations, wings as generally portrayed / perceived (which predates neochristianity by millennia - see links below) could be connected to the lungs, so perhaps they have a function and/or energy flow connected with participating in life (given that lungs often have the association of life)?
Given the traditional pre-neochristian associations of winged beings with attributes including strength, perhaps they also can deliver etheric energy? In fact, could the perception of wings be an anthropomorphism of sensing an energy activity/function?
Given that last possibility, in addition to what I am already going (see above), I am going to start examining the following possibilities:
- that etheric emanations from muscles can be used - beyond the associations of being human in this incarnation - for BPM nonphysical energy work, as well as chakras;
- that there are locations which can be used for more efficient “filtration” (cleaning and clearing) of nonBPM energy.
I already use visualisation of gold energy to aid my muscles during exercise (when I remember to do so), which is an outcome from my chakras and colours project, so ... I wonder what else I can do?
One problem I have is the association that has been developed between winged beings aka angels and neochristianity, given the two millennia of extreme abuse and social engineering of neochristianity. That influenced some of the online searching I did.
For older style work with energy, see the books of William Walker Atkinson (aka “Yogi Ramacharaka”). Other older books that may be of use include “Colour Visualisation” (which I see now has a workbook), by Shakti Gawain, and “Colour Meditations”, by S. G. J. Ouseley.

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:
- there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”;
- I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).Copyright © Kayleen White 2007-2024 NO AI
