Post No. 2,773 - A formalisation and extension of clearing techniques - Part 1B - Form 02

Further to   “Post No. 2,712 - A formalisation and extension of clearing techniques - Part 1”   https://gnwmythr.blogspot.com/2024/02/post-no-2712-coming-formalisation-and.html   I have some additional details on Form 02 below. I’ll start with the information from the above-mentioned post.

Ultimately I will aim to do this for each Form so I can, at the very least, create a separate link for each Form. All posts in this series are now being listed at   “On line “courses” (on this blog) and practice exercises”   https://gnwmythr.blogspot.com/p/on-line-courses-on-this-blog.html   as they are completed.

Form 02 - Redirect – diffusion

This is a development of Form 01, in that one cares about what happens to the energy that is reflected away.

This set of techniques is based on reducing the intensity of the energetic flow.

To illustrate that, consider water before and after a pressure pump: after it has been pressurised, it will be more forceful.

To put that another way, gentle showers over a large area will have a lower impact on the ground (in terms of immediate damage such as erosion; I am not considering drainage and floods – which is also connected to length of rain) than concentrating all that rain into a smaller area.

One more analogy: if you have a garden hose, they often have an adjustable nozzle so one can either have a narrow, forceful stream, or a wide mist discharge.

The nonBPM energy/activity being received is concentrated: the aim of this technique is to ensure the reflected flow is dispersed as much as possible so that there is the least chance of it doing harm.

To emphasise that: this set of techniques is based on reducing the intensity of the reflected nonBPM energetic flow towards yourself.

It should be noted that the lack of harm is NOT guaranteed: that means one should also check whether the reflected energy is doing any harm, and switch to another technique if it is – as well as undoing the harm caused

In terms of techniques, I typically shape my shields to be convex, so they spread the energy, but, in recent years, I also add the diffusing/dampening cones of anechoic chambers linked to (see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Anechoic_chamber&oldid=1197946398) in my post “Post No. 2,317 - Anechoic psychic chambers?”   https://gnwmythr.blogspot.com/2022/11/post-no-2317-anechoic-psychic-chambers.html   , which also briefly touches on other approaches to redirection.

Final point: it may be possible to use this technique to helps others, along the lines of what I wrote about in “Post No. 248 - Want to be a knight in shining armour?”   https://gnwmythr.blogspot.com/2011/03/want-to-be-knight-in-shining-armour.html

This technique is well suited to Water and/or Air  elemental  energy/units / magick/magickal techniques.

Technical details

First off, a lot of what was written in the technical details section of Form 01 applies here – certainly, at least, principles such as intention, passive vs. active techniques, relative strength, tools such as ritual to increase the strength of your units, using units you are familiar and/or comfortable with (and know to be BPM, by the way), use of multiple and/or overlapping units, anchoring your units, using multiple senses if possible, safe location/positioning so you do not harm others accidentally, and exceptionally good self-care skills and habits.

I won’t repeat those common comments for this or the other forms, other than repeating this and the preceding paragraph.

Visualisation of reflective surfaces (e.g., the Mirror of Hathor) between oneself (or whatever is to be protected) and source of the nonBPM influence is basic to Forms 01, 02, and 03. To introduce the diffusive aspect of Form 02, the reflective surface needs (as already noted) to be convex helps to spread the reflected energy over a wider area.

This is the opposite of a parabolic reflector, which some of you may know of – they are used in car headlights, satellite dishes, etc (see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Parabolic_reflector&oldid=1186687771).

(In fact, you could probably get an idea the convex effect by considering reversing a parabolic reflector, and having the energy strike the outside of the reflector, rather than the inside: the inside concentrates energy, the outside spreads it.)

Another excellent device for diffusion are the devices used to scatter sound in anechoic chambers – also mentioned above.

The above all rely on direct application of force to counter or oppose the influence coming in.

Indirect application of force can also be used.

My first example of that is visualising a vortex (a tornado is probably the easier example to consider for this exercise, but please do visit, read, and think about https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vortex&oldid=1209049596). This uses a relatively small influence to create a rotation, which in turn will exert a force – a considerable force, as shown by tornados, whirlpools (in water – and your visualisation could be using any direction … or multiple directions), and devices such as some vacuum cleaners and mixers (see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vortex_mixer&oldid=1177312281 and https://toolbox.biomimicry.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Outreach-Toolkit-PAX-Scientific-Case-Study.pdf)

This is not a hydraulic system, where application of force to a small area of a contained fluid will result in that pressure (force divided by area) being exerted elsewhere (see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hydraulic_machinery&oldid=1210810269), but there is the possibility of more outcome than was directly applied (a little like using gears: a small gear can turn a larger gear, for instance), and it can be useful if you do not have enough strength to directly resist the force being applied against you or whatever you are seeking to protect.

A variation of this is the asteroid deflection being considered by various space agencies to protect the earth against large asteroids (see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Asteroid_impact_avoidance&oldid=1220605385): apply a small force far enough out and the object will be deflected onto a path that will miss the target.

Similarly, a small deflection may redirect the incoming nonBPM influence away from the target and onto something able to resist that influence or diffuse it.

So yes, you still have to consider the fate of the redirected influence.

Another refinement of this, too, if you use a vortex, if to pass the redirected energy through a net of multiple colours (or other representations of energy) so that you can extract the nonBPM influences and deal with those directly, but that is verging into some of the other Forms – as one should, since it is possible to combine these Forms, and that should happen where and when it is appropriate and beneficial.

This is a little like passing the air sucked in by a vacuum cleaner though the filter, so the dust is retained and clean air (energy) is allowed to return to the environment.

There is another technique I wish to mention here, which is based on the principle of harmonic resonance frequencies.

This is probably best known through the example of the Tacoma Narrows bridge in the USA, which collapsed in 1940, a few months after opening, after a history of wind-induced oscillations (see https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tacoma_Narrows_Bridge_(1940)&oldid=1218234057#Attempt_to_control_structural_vibration), but there is also the military command to “break step” when crossing a bridge (see https://www.livescience.com/34608-break-stride-frequency-of-vibration.html), and the use of sound to break glasses (see https://salfordacoustics.co.uk/how-to-breaking-glass-with-sound)

To illustrate the concept, consider someone swinging a big, heavy, nonBPM hammer at a BPM shield. The speed and single mass of the hammer could create a large impact … but if the hammer was shaken into its components – the nonphysical equivalent of atoms – it will be more like a spray of sand than a single large impact.

I haven’t used that sort of effect, but I have used the astral equivalent of (relatively low strength – I don’t want to cause injuries) earthquakes to disrupt the bonds between individuals in groups of nonBPM entities.

Finally, as a general principle, seek to learn from other areas and adapt concepts for use. I’ve given a few examples, largely based around physics and visualisation, but one could use other senses (e.g., hearing) and principles – such as the various principles of music, such as counterpoint (to randomly pick a term)

If you appreciated this post, please consider promoting it - there are some links below, and theres also Instagram Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
