I’ve added a clarification to the standard introduction to my reflection posts:
“ - the news items helps draw in/helps me find those people and other units in need of any of the help I can provide”
Those news items occasionally are news channel or YouTube videos (none of which are physically extremely graphic - which I support for a media that either doesn’t or may not have age appropriate barriers - but can be quite emotionally harrowing [which, IMO, ideally should have age appropriate barriers]). Be that as it may, I just had the unusual and slightly unsettling experience of helping a few (military) people pass over who had been killed in one of those news videos.
The work of this blog is real, and can make a real difference for the better (although work in the physical world is still ESSENTIAL), but it often may not be seen from or in this world.
