Some viewing of a streaming series has led me to this particular rabbit hole:
- the problem with relying on physical strength as a basis for leadership is that it has no correlation whatsoever with what is required for good leadership - it only serves to feed the fantasies of deluded authoritarians and insecure psychopaths (possibly subclinical), and the world is seeing where that leads to;
- there are problems with systems based on direct discussion and/or (constructive) argument, as those skills are also limited - not everyone is fluent, and thus some may feel as overwhelmed emotionally as those who are physically bullied or attacked (meaning those who advocate knowingly for this to be as much verbal bullies as the others were physical, and as equally deserving of contempt). In addition, those involved may well have a limited or imperfect understanding of the group they are seeking to represent - which is why community activism for human rights has been so essential in so many democracies;
- there are problems with systems that enable people to hire or use skilled advocates, such as many judicial systems, as that can wind up favouring those who are richest or most powerful (e.g., by owning media outlets) in other ways;
- there are problems with systems, including:
- uneven distribution of relevant skills;
- uneven access to specialists who can help people compensate for their lack of skill;
- lack of perfect knowledge of the entirety of a society or group; and
- the need to adapt to changing circumstances.
The solution, I would suggest, is to preface whatever systems are adopted with a indication of an awareness of these problems, what is currently being done about that, and how that will be adapted in response to changes - including the change of becoming aware of more information, such as the needs of groups.
In the context of political organisation of a nation, I would suggest this may lead to something along the lines of the following:
- the political organisation of this nation shall be a representative democracy (note: there are other options, but I still consider this best for the world as we are now - should we all become spiritually enlightened and telepathic, that may change);
- to ensure that all people have the skills and other attributes required to participate effectively in a democracy:
- all members of the democracy shall be freely, fully, and effectively (meaning with due catering for their needs) educated, including in critical thinking, rhetoric, the psychology of groups/advertising/etc, and civics (including long term perspectives, and global awareness);
- all members of the democracy shall be able to freely, fully, and effectively access information - including by truly independent press;
- access to specialist advocates shall be fully publicly funded, with enforced bans on using resources in excess of the other side, and a commitment to establishing truth (if necessary, the court shall commission studies by independent experts) to enable both an informed justice (which may include human mercy) and to ensure confidence that results have not been obtained by a quirk of skill rather than fairness;
- all other needs must be met to a satisfactory minimum standard;
- to ensure that the democracy is truly equal:
- independent and competent surveys/investigations shall routinely be undertaken to ensure power is distributed and accessible equally;
- where a result, possibly as a consequence of changes or possibly an increased awareness of the situation of a minority group, indicates an imbalance, it shall be promptly, vigorously, and effectively remedied, including adequate education of all members of the democracy as to why the change is necessary;
- election of representatives shall be fully publicly funded, with enforced bans on using resources in excess of others;
- transgressions shall be punished equally and fairly, including prevention of any one side having capacities in excess of the other;
- etc.
Possible flaws
Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:
- there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”;
- I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).#PsychicABetterWorld and may all that I do be of value and actively BPM used for and by the nonphysical BPM
