Post No. 3,434- Another activism email

I have just sent off the following email to a bunch of politicians.

*** START OF EMAIL ***

Dear Members of Parliament,

My various news feeds are full of articles on the adverse impact on human capital of the recently announced NDIS cuts. I am sure you are well aware of those so I will limit myself to the following:

When I voted for the NDIS, I did NOT vote for it to be run as a penny pinching, anti-human wellbeing, bean counting game.

I wanted it to cover what it needs to - and, based on my personal experience, it needs to do more, not less.

The cuts that have been announced are not, IMO, justifiable in light of:
  • AUKUS;
  • undertaxation of extractive industries that is likely to raise concerns about cronyism; and
  • the failure to address the leading cause of growth in disability.

I won't provide any news links regarding AUKUS: the concerns are well known (the massive investment in a technology that will soon be superceded [is that because the problem misdescribed as "{military} boys and their toys"?] is probably the most obvious reason to rethink that ... scam), but the battle has been fought and lost in policy platform conferences.

The battle to stop stuffing around and impose genuine and appropriate taxation on the LPG export extractive industry is still being fought, however, and:
  • the debate is, IMO, heading towards concerns over perceptions of "corporate capture", and possibly cronyism;
  • there is adequate expert evidence that we are not adequately taxing the anti-community whiners in that industry; and
  • if proper taxation is not imposed, it increases - IMO - the risk that the ALP will be more likely to follow the neoliberals into political oblivion in ~4 elections or even non-existence in ~6 elections.

The power to help Australians now and in the future, as well as determine the ALP's fate, is in your hands on this matter.

The final topic is the unaddressed causation of increased disability rates: neoliberalism, which destroys society's human capital, infrastructure capital, and environmental capital.

While there has been some narrowly focused work on SOME of these problems, there is a broader focus which almost everyone is missing (the UK political economist Richard J Murphy is a notable exception), which is the interconnectedness of these effects.

I am going to link to an ILO report on psychosocial impacts, but first there are some aspects which need to be noted:
  • the push towards nuclear families as a basic building block of society denies the communal nature of most of humanity's existence over our ~200-300k years, and of our predecessor species.
    Furthermore, the pressure and dysfunction caused by that forcibly imposed change is having unhealthy impacts, including inadequate resources for parenting, mental health problems as a result of insanely unreasonable social expectations, and the promotion of bigotries as a result of social exclusion pressures (i.e., hate against, for instance, LGBTQIASB+ people, which is clearly historically a colonial imposed hate in many nations, and racism or other excuses to exclude people over a perceived threat to resources) and pressures to conform - which has resulted in perpetuation of patriarchal misogyny out of fear of being excluded;
  • the push towards arbitrary and limited definitions of productivity has come with enormous pressures to use medical definitions that downplay or underestimate problems (the one manager I consider fitted the definition of psychopath, someone from the 1980s, even tried to get me to see his choice of doctor, someone who had already indicated he would say I was fit to work no matter what). That has led to chronic underdiagnosis of problems such as women's pain and problems associated with endometriosis (especially during historic periods when doctors were almost exclusively male), and to narrow definitions of conditions such as the neurodevelopment difference autism, which has started being corrected in recent years. The pressure to conform and be neoliberally "productive" has led to, as an example, autists masking - at great, but often hidden, cost to themselves - and to the pressure to work even if ill, which fortunately was reversed somewhat by the COVID pandemic.
    That push has also promoted extremely harmful - personally, socially, and to the entire species - toxic masculinity and toxic feminity, with problems including;
    - rape culture
    - the problem I referred to above as "boys and their toys" (which also includes some women)
    - loss of human potential (on that, consider: how many Einsteins, Marie Curies, Steve Jobs, Jane Elliotts, Nicola Teslas, Helen Kellers, Eleanor Roosevelts, and Mandelas never got a chance because of their crushing poverty? Or, as Stephen  Jay  Gould put it, “I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.”)
    - mental health problems and, through conspiracy fantasies, sometimes physical health problems;
    - many forms of bigotry - often largely based on the problem of women seen as possessions of men (hence women changing their names after marriage, etc), but also the extreme (rabidly so) reaction to variations of gender identity (with amathiac arguments about loss of breeding potential, and farcical & obnoxious allegations of transwomen being threat to ciswomen) and sexuality;
    - the exacerbation of disability as a "problem" because the world lacks the basic human competency to design a social environment that is inclusionary, not exclusionary;
    - the climate crisis problem of petro-masculinity; and
    medical incompetence such as predominantly male / toxic masculinity-toxic feminity plagued research facilities missing the fifth stress response: beyond fight, flight, fawn and freeze is network and nurture - which is MY predominant stress response, and is missed by those predominantly male / toxic masculinity-toxic feminity plagued research facilities because it is not a stereotypical competitive toxic male response;
  • nationalistic (jingoistic, in older parlance) and fascistic (toxic masculinity) views of social cohesion, which needs to be replaced with what it has been for all by the last few millennia of our ~200-300k existence: human solidarity-cohesion.

The report I mentioned is:
  • “Long hours, stress and harassment are causing hundreds of thousands of early deaths, says UN labour agency”   https://news.un.org/en/story/2026/04/1167356   “The way that jobs are designed, organised and managed has a major effect on the health and safety of workers, and, according to the study – “The psychosocial working environment: Global developments and pathways for action” – the impact is growing, manifesting itself in rising rates of cardiovascular disease and mental disorders, including suicide”

This report is an opportunity.

One of the most concerning criticisms I come across regarding the current government is of timidity. Making some forward looking comments about the broader social situation regarding the effects of neoliberalism may:
  1. set a basis for a future government to take action of those issues; and
  2. help to regain political standing with key voting groups for coming elections.

(I dislike having to mention that second point, but doing so is part of political reality.)

Again, Australia's and our future is in our hands on this issue, and I respectfully urge you to act towards bold, visionary, but sustainable action.

No reply to this email is necessary.

Possible flaws

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:

  • there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”
  • I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).

Post No. 3,301 - REPUBLISHED: Magickal Battle of the World Meditation - Week No. 18 - The humanness of the flaws that underlie opposition

I have decided to republish my 81 lesson “Magickal Battle of the World” series, once or twice each week, as I did originally. Next will be   19. Undetectability;

This point is important enough for it to bear repeating and emphasising: there is a humanness that underlies most of the opposition to this work. Therefore, this week’s lesson is a repeat of last week’s.

Black Lives Matter!
Stay safe - wash your hands, practice social distancing and wear a face mask in public, and follow informed medical advice - and be considerate towards those at risk or in situations of vulnerability (including economic) while the COVID-19 pandemic is a problem.
I have been writing about improving the world through a range of means on my blogs: this blog has been focused on spiritual and psychic means, including strengthening  BPM  units and clearing nonBPM units, and meditation to generate BPM energy (and units, if you know enough).
This has been done before - particularly during times of crisis.
The climate crisis has been our World War III for some time (with the denialists being, at the very least, the WW3 equivalents of Quisling, Vichy France, etc), and we now have the COVID-19  pandemic, caused by the zoonotic  SARS-CoV-2  novel coronavirus (there are other novel coronaviruses), on top of that.
World War II was probably the biggest global crisis before our current dual crises, and during those terrible events, there were a number of people undertaking magickal work, including  the work by Dion Fortune (there were others) outlined in the Gareth Knight edited book "The Magical Battle of Britain" (my copy pub. Skylight Press, 2012, ISBN 978-1-908011-45-9), which I reviewed here. Ms Fortune directed her team through a series of 136 weekly and (I think) 19 monthly meditations (I originally intended to publish a list at some stage, but it’s so long and comprehensive that I’m concerned about breaching copyright, so I may either see if I can find an online list, or publish something listing the broad themes only). At the end of this, she was exhausted, and that work is considered to have contributed to her death, but a change for the better had been accomplished.
We already have a lot of people doing a lot of work on making the world a better place (including before the current crises), but I would like to extend my contribution to also include a series of weekly - or near weekly - meditations along the line of those directed by Ms Fortune.
I am proposing this be added to the Sunday meditations which are part of my regular psychic work. For convenience, an outline of the meditation is provided at the end of this post.
The notes on each week’s meditation will probably be brief to the point of being terse.
 This Week: No. 18 - The humanness of the flaws that underlay opposition
What is driving those everyday people who are succumbing to their worst, and how to neutralise, reverse and overcome that?
The nonBPM’s motivations are many and varied - and the overwhelming majority are not evil, or even necessarily malicious, but the harm they can do may be evil (the neochristian saying about the road to hell being paved with good intentions is apt, even if there is no such place), and a very small number are truly evil (sociopathic or psychopathic).
In terms of what to do with these people, the first actions are:
·         to keep oneself safe (this is a little like the safety messages in planes: your mask first, then others, and is about protection);
·         to keep those one is with safe (protection);
·         to keep others, including the victims of the nonBPM person being considered, safe (protection);
·         rescue those being controlled by the person of concern (typically by clearing  units - especially links, and also healing and strengthening the victims);
·         to learn and consult (especially with your Higher Self BPM Guides) about the person of concern, including any psychic control they be under, and how to safely break that; and
·         then to discuss, draft and review plans, and only when one is fully prepared (including skill  development and any specific practice), act.
Remember that not only are souls indestructible, if you commit an act of deliberate harm - especially one driven by hate - you are binding yourself to that person, which is not going to help transform this world in the long term. The means shape the end. It is well worth studying nonviolent action (e.g., here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here) - especially satyagraha and ahimsa.
You should NOT read up on mental illnesses as
a)       that should be left to the experts - you will undoubtedly be wrong if you think anyone you’re concerned about has a mental illness,
b)      I have already pointed that the vast majority of people are misguided or suffering from human flaws and shortcomings, not evil, and
c)       the techniques and intentions being used for this work are of no relevance to physical world illnesses.
What would help is Karla  McLaren’s work, becoming with the concept of world view, and a wide variety of life stories - films, books, audio, people you know, just as wide a variety as is possible. If this includes stories about people who have changed from harming others (e.g., this, and this), those insights into what helped them change may be useful.
In general, though, the focus will be on psychic techniques - read the Rangers of the Inner Planes stories on my creativity blog to get an idea of what this could involve (I still have at least one more story to finish there - when I get time and energy).
Identifying specific units and clearing them will be useful, but, perhaps more importantly, learn to analyse each emotion from the point of view of the mix of elements, as written about here, here, and in each week’s psychic weather report - e.g., last week’s.
The emotions those techniques may experience, based on my personal experience (yours may well be different), could include, for instance:
·         fear of difference;
·         fear of being judged harshly if one’s worldview is wrong;
·         guilt - possibly without any objective basis, and possibly leading to overcompensation;
·         misplaced anger;
·         FBU;
·         FoC;
·         desire to please parents / friends / peers at any cost;
·         fear of personal responsibility;
·         fear of loneliness / being outcast;
·         desire to demonstrate loyalty / commitment, even if the cause is wrong;
·         greed;
·         jealousy / envy;
·         insecurity / possessiveness;
·         arrogance / overconfidence;
·         superiority / judgementalism;
·         denial;
·         grief / revenge;
·         self loathing;
·         resentment;
·         despair; and
·         trauma.
It may help you to meditate on these various emotions, and possibly to prepare a table as I did last week - especially if they include the elemental energies, as that gives a guide on how to constructively create a healthier way to deal with the lessons/gifts of each emotion. Avoid superficial / glib / naïvely optimistic / toxic positivity responses. Also, do your own personal shadow work.
One late qualification to all this:  child abusers are evil, and I warn against trying to understand them - there's not much point, just focus on keeping others safe from their predation.
This post is again about using skills covered in previous weeks, so I will again post a series of sigils.
 Scholar (learning)
Previous meditations in this sequence are:
1.       Introduction, definition of the problem(s), and Realisation;

3.       Together;
4.       Caution, respect and integrity (aka cunning);
5.       Momentum;
6.       Insight;
7.       Preciseness;
8.       Progress;
9.       Learning;
11.   Conciseness;
12.   Measurement;
13.   Faith;
14.   Proficiency;
15.   Alliances;
The Meditation (see here, here, and here) consists of:
 - appropriate and responsible protection (see here, here, here), prayer and ritual (e.g., here) to establish and check protection (re-do the protection, or re-schedule the meditation, if you don’t feel safe and secure);
 - establish a personal connection to your Higher BPM influences;
 - flush one's aura with emerald green, royal blue and royal purple;
 - fill one’s Heart Chakra (and maybe one’s Earth Star, Solar Plexus, Third Eye and Crown Chakras) with emerald green, royal blue and royal purple; send a weave of three streams of this colour from the Chakra(s) to a visualisation of a gigantic, multi-faceted emerald (which has been created to facilitate networking of BPM workers) through your facet until you see your energy enlivening other areas of the emerald and can feel similar energies flowing back to you;
 - visualise the rune / bindrune (if given - or, on Sunday, the group of symbols provided);
 - generate  feelings of love, peace, joy and respect;
 - strengthen those feelings (energies);
 - radiate those energies to the world for nine to eighteen minutes;
 - then, on Sunday, also perform the additional meditation work for around 15 minutes or so: contemplate the topic, and the spiritual (i.e., nonphysical) implications of it, and seek insights and understanding. Do not be distracted by thoughts of physical actions - those are necessary also, but this exercise is about the nonphysical, in the broadest possible sense, and the focus should be on nonphysical actions, energy flows, symbols, and the like, all with the intention of bringing about a change for the better. As a second stage, if you wish, you can meditate on any physical actions which may be necessary, but get the spiritually focused work done first;
 - when finished, close your chakras, centre and ground yourself and close your aura, use the banishing version of the LBRP to open circle, ground and release all excess energy; and make sure you are grounded and closed down – eat, if you need to, or seek help from someone capable and trusted.
