I recently found the following interestingoand/orouseful, and am posting them here inocase anyoneoelse does asowelll.
- “We are more powerful than the racists” https://youtube.com/shorts/Jiswn4l_ZD0 Excellent advice AND ALSO “Dolly Parton Was Not an Ally. She Was an Underwriter” https://bradleyml.substack.com/p/dolly-parton-was-not-an-ally-she
- “We were born for this” https://youtube.com/shorts/zhOBxo1fPoQ Some excellent commentary on being alive in these times
- “Are right‑brained people really more creative? Here’s what the science really tells us” https://theconversation.com/are-right-brained-people-really-more-creative-heres-what-the-science-really-tells-us-291032 “So the researchers concluded their findings were not consistent with people being overall “left-brained” or “right-brained”. [but] In other words, individual differences in left or right brain functions are real and they do matter for performance, but they don’t apply so broadly as to dictate our personality or thinking style. Why is this left-brain, right-brain myth so common? The grain of truth is that the brain’s left and right sides do perform different functions. But the message has been simplified and distorted over the years to an over-arching label.”
On society, governance, humanorights, etc (noting the childish thinking of M_G_):
- Spain has condemned the cruelty of ““reactionary” governments that weaken the UN, cut development aid and disregard international law” and criticized the push for higher military spending, and “defended multilateralism ... and called for tighter AI regulation” https://youtu.be/WpIuu1_8WxY AND ALSO the USA is trying thuggery against the EU for help with its self created diesel cost problems https://www.france24.com/en/europe/20261001-us-europe-diesel-reserves-fuel-prices AND ALSO “What happens when neoliberalism's only got fear left to sell?” https://youtu.be/C7gCT8rO7OA and https://www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2026/09/29/what-happens-when-neoliberalisms-only-got-fear-left-to-sell/ AND ALSO “This Labor government is the Ed Sheeran of Australian politics – Amy Remeikis” https://www.deepcutnews.com/p/this-labor-government-is-the-ed-sheeran AND ALSO “A controversial law that treats harsh punishment as a remedy for insecurity in two South Sudanese states has failed to stem conflict and led to a spate of human rights abuses, according to activists and local community leaders.” https://www.thenewhumanitarian.org/analysis/2026/09/22/south-sudans-green-book-law-brings-harsh-justice-little-lasting-peace AND ALSO “Fascism must be beaten, but it must be beaten fairly” https://www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2026/09/30/fascism-must-be-beaten-but-it-must-be-beaten-fairly/ “If we are to beat fascism, it has to be through argument, confrontation and exposure of the fantasy of their claims rather than by electoral suppression. I am sure that we can beat them, but I want that to be done fairly for the sake of creating Parliament. The alternative might be social tension that might be too great for our society to bear.”
- “We can finally measure the damage each new coal, gas or oil project will do to people and nature” https://theconversation.com/we-can-finally-measure-the-damage-each-new-coal-gas-or-oil-project-will-do-to-people-and-nature-292128
- “The resilience map: what Australia's first resilience index tells us” https://redbridgeintel.substack.com/p/the-resilience-map-what-australias “Who needs help, where and why. The index will guide governments and business how to navigate through that challenge.” AND ALSO ““Are Australians really overtaxed? It depends what you think government should do” https://theconversation.com/are-australians-really-overtaxed-it-depends-what-you-think-government-should-do-293113 “Taxes pay for government services. The impact of government on our lives has grown steadily; tax has grown with it. ... Compared to our peers in OECD advanced economies, Australia is a low tax country. There is also no evidence that higher taxes necessarily make countries worse off. Indeed the countries with the highest tax-to-GDP ratios, mostly in Scandinavia, are among the happiest and most affluent.” AND ALSO ““A blunt tool. RBA’s incompetence is making the rich richer” https://michaelwest.com.au/a-blunt-tool-rbas-incompetence-is-making-the-rich-richer/
- “Medibank facing dual court actions over data hack” https://michaelwest.com.au/medibank-facing-dual-court-actions-over-data-hack/ “A hacker moved undetected through Medibank’s network for weeks despite multiple warning flags being raised, a court has been told. The health insurer is facing both a class action by impacted customers and civil penalties brought by the privacy watchdog over the 2022 hack. After Medibank declined to pay a ransom, personal data was leaked on the dark web under malicious file names” This initial court action may combine two separate legal actions. This sort of legal action has been warned of for some time. Possible flaws
Where I can, I will try to highlightopossible flaws / issues youoshouldoconsider:
- there mayobe flawedologicaloarguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan Myers’ freeoonline course “Clear and Present Thinking”;

IMO, OTAAT (“one term at a time”) is the next action to save representative democracy, along with establishment of an organisation of human-rights observing democracies as a functional alternative to the UN (especially the veto-sabotaged UN SC) which is a casualty of this war, but also note this “Vision for Humanity”

Remember: we generallyoneed to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgenderingois an act of activeotransphobia/transmisiaothat puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptoroto prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
#PsychicABetterWorld and may all that I do be ofovalue and actively BPM used for and byothe nonphysical BPM because #KindnessIsThePoint
