One of the major problems I have with what mediaeval magicians did, was that a lot of it involved binding spirits to do tasks.
One of the major problems I have with the "visualise-and-leave-it-to-the-Universe" crowd is that they could be doing the same - they're a bit like the people who manage companies and don't care what is happening in their supply chains (which enables modern slavery, child abuse, conflict minerals, etc).
Don't do a thirty second visualisation and delegate it to others - your thoughts could wind have a binding, coercive or compelling effect that harms the free will of others.
Learn to care - your (alleged) optimism and (toxic) positivity could be as bad spiritually as a fossil fuel company's operations are physically. At the very least, specify "and with harm to none".
(Even better, learn how to do this yourself, and generate / create as much of the energy required instead of sponging off what others have created, but that's a set of topics for many other posts.)
