Post No. 1,846 - Dowsing The World’s Psychic Weather - Air: Lesson Eleven - Principles

There is a bit of a buzz word - phrase, actually - that has been popular for a couple of decades now: remote  viewing (RV - take note of the cautions about controls, but see also here, here-here-here [I disagree with his views on extraterrestrials], here, here, and here). It’s basically a fairly specific use of psychic sensing - technically, probably a combination of clairvoyance and clairsentience (getting a sense of the “feel” - predominantly emotional, described in RV texts as “atmosphere”), but with a focus on specificity, measurable outputs, and - at times - numeric (quantitative) information, the sort of focus that many people cowardly try to avoid (more on that to come, in Lesson 13).

What I am doing with my dowsing is similar to that, except I am not using it to try to discover military or political information (important note: RV came out of the USA’s military-intelligence complex): I am trying to discern the energetic state of specific places elsewhere on the earth.

In traditional psychic texts, there are all sorts of arbitrary rules about establishing a connection to remote places (and people), such as having something from there, etc. I suspect that such rules possibly were useful a few centuries ago, but now we have good experience from RV work that such connections are NOT required in order to establish a psychic connection to another place.

The RV people seem to happily work off “coordinates” - probably military, as they was the world they were working in and they were comfortable with it’s tools.

I’m not - I even don’t find latitude and longitude particularly helpful in terms of establishing a connection to some other place (although I am familiar with such for navigation).

What works best for me is - after the usual establishing and checking protection, and establishing the intent of the work - focusing on an area of a map, and then allowing the connection to occur.

There is a couples of scenes (at 40 min and 42 min: 30 sec) in the film “The Men Who Stare at Goats” (YouTube, also available elsewhere, which is a quirky production based on a more serious book) which gives a good sense of how this works. (There are also good examples of why drugs should never be used, and the problems that some arrogant and/or delusional personalities can cause in this type of work.)

I’m going to leave this lesson at that for now, and ask you to think about the concepts of establishing a connection with another specific place on the planet, and discerning what the non-physical energies (especially “the atmosphere” are like there.
