I have had several interesting - or at least unusual - dreams this week.
The most striking one was of being shown an interstellar navigation technique - with the sense of “this is how extraterrestrials do it” - that was amazingly complex to describe, but also amazingly effective (especially around the time aspects of such travel - and keep in mind everything is moving, is not now where it seems to be [we see the light showing where it used to be]).
I have also had some dreams about “moving on”. Now, that MIGHT be about passing, thereby suggesting I have less time than I thought I did, but it is more likely about a significant life change.
We shall see in the fulness of time which it is.
In the meantime, one other realisation I have had (or, more accurately perhaps, been reminded of) relating to that concept, is that the inherent flaw of bodhicitta (see here, here, here, here, here, and here), the vow to stay and help all sentient beings, is that there is a more or less continuous flow of sentient beings, making this a little like a vow to stay in primary school until all humans (including all future humans) have completed primary school.
Sharing and helping makes sense, but there also comes a time when it is right and proper to leave the primary school to the devices of those there, who can choose to use, misuse, or ignore what you have shared, and continue on your own journey.
