This is one of the main reasons that those advocating for UAP disclosure are lacking in credibility: the inclusion of rabid bigots.

Is this accepted by those in the UAP disclosure because those UAP disclosure people are: 

• ignorant or uninformed? (In this day and age, after decades of modern activism and more than a century of scientific research???!!!!!  And yet at least one YouTube political commentator seems to also have that exact problem ... )   
  

• also transphobic bigots? (This is one issue where silence is agreement - and the retired admiral has actively made amathiac comments about trans people.)
  

• religious bigots? (I wonder this about a noted lawyer with Vatican connections in particular - and note both my comment about silence above and the Vatican's appalling history on homo-/transphobia, bi-erasure, misogyny, SA, CSA, etc)
  

• IPOCs?
  

• lacking in basic human qualities and competencies?
  

Those pushing for genital inspection are basically r_p_sts/child ab_ s_rs. 

This sort of backwardness (see here) is also actively preventing open contact.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
