The devastation of knowing who and what men in the USA were voting for and did so anyway because they refused to be led by a woman is widespread.
In other words, those voters are amathiac, misogynistic, toxic males ... and they still hold (at least political) sway in this world, despite more than half a century of legislative, educative, and other work.
The reason for the ongoing gender pay gap is now clear: it is due to men who secretly hate women.
I suppose over ten millennia of patriarchy is hard to overcome ...
This changes a lot of things, and I will now advise any woman who is seeking a job, particularly in the corporate world:
- unless the gender pay gap is zero and has been for at least fifteen years, assume there are hidden misogynists;
- ask the prospective employer what independent (i.e., outside the company staff) mechanisms are available to provide immediate assistance to any woman (whether cis or trans) who is feeling unsafe;
- what in-house resources have been trained (including on their personal unconscious bias) to believe women and support them;
- what work is being done to find and change or remove the hidden misogynists; and
- as a test to determine just how misogynistic the company is, ask how they have proven their acceptance and support of transwomen.
Any males offended by this?
Good!
You owe it to the cis and trans women of this world to address the problems caused by other males who ARE misogynistic - especially the ones who hide it.

Some American women want to know after Tr_ mp’s victory” https://www.sbs.com.au/news/the-feed/article/no-dating-no-sex-no-babies-and-no-marriage-with-men-inside-the-anti-men-4b-movement/potc61mt3 “PhD researcher Yun-Hee Cho from South Korea’s Yonsei University said while the movement’s popularity has dimmed since its initial emergence, she rejects the idea that it didn’t impact cultural expectations in South Korea. “It really helped [with] empowering women to know they can have other lives, their own life, other than just being married to men or just being a wife or mother.” But she said a movement like this one risks vilifying certain women, including married women. “Feminism must be for all women,” she said.” This also addresses that the movement is not sexuality based, and the history of other such movements back to the 1970s.
Possible flaws
Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:
- there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”;
- I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).#PsychicABetterWorld and candles for Viva La Résistance à Tr_ mp!
