I have swapped the structural order of these posts, and am now starting with the reflections section before I get into the news sections.

- “For the Witches with Empathy Burnout” https://youtu.be/b-cm3QbL7E8 An excellent video - the commentary on joy as the counter to burnout was important, but the discussions on holding space, compassion fatigue, and spiritual hygiene are also essential

anyone distressed by anything in this post, or for any other reason considering
seeking support, resources are available in Australia here, here, and here. In other nations, you will have to do an Internet search using terms such as “mental health support - <your nation>” (which, for instance, may lead to this, this, and this, in the USA, or this, this, and this, in France [biased towards English-language - my apologies]), or perhaps try https://www.befrienders.org/.
Remember: #PsychicABetterWorld and may all that I do be of value and actively BPM used for and by the nonphysical BPM because #KindnessIsThePoint - and actively practice nonphysical health, strength and wellbeing
The purposes of this post’s news section include:
(1) to provide information, including news, which may be of interest, value, or use to Readers;
(2) to identify both BPM and nonBPM opportunities to do the work of this blog (particularly clearing nonBPM nonphysical units, BPM healing, and BPM strengthening of BPM units - the news items helps draw in/helps me find those people and other units in need of any of the help I can provide); and
(3) to help engage and frame my emotional, mental, and other nonphysical (psychic, spiritual, Higher Self, BPM Guides, etc) aspects both for doing my weekly PWR and for doing the work that flows from the PWR - which may also occur for some others.
Some of the news information will likely be distressing - hence the content warning, to allow people to choose times they have high energy and/or are in a good state to view these, or to ensure they have access to support resources if they may be triggered, or to choose to either temporarily or permanently skip viewing this post or the “News” sections, as is best for their health and wellbeing.
Within the news section, I generally try to identify what is considered “good” news in green, possibly also with green background, but owing to time, energy, and health limitations, may not always be able to do so. Similarly, I generally try to show editorial comments by me in this shade of blue (quotes are in this shade of blue) - and for the times I miss doing so, you should keep your thinking cap on.

News :
On the existential climate crisis and nuclear threats this week:
The impact of lithium mines in Portugal; constructive actions by my home state government; “almost a third of all of Tuvalu’s residents have put in requests for the first batch of climate visas from Australia, as scientists fear the Pacific nation will be uninhabitable within the next 80 years”; the impacts of lithium mining;
In the global war against f_sc_sm (and “producerism”) this week:
The USA’s export of hate includes its anti-abortion campaigns - which have had fatal consequences; a call for effective rhetoric on behalf of democracy; 40 former presidents and prime ministers have warned that “the world is facing a looming crisis of inequality that could see the first trillionaires emerge while nearly half of humanity still languishes in poverty” - and health inequities are exacerbating gender inequalities; a white supremacist group has been listed by Australia as a t_rr_r_st group;
- “How to Spot Projection Propaganda” https://usamomingermany.substack.com/p/how-to-spot-projection-propaganda or https://youtu.be/lh1KoOfuVdY THIS IS VITALLY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND
- “Christian Zionism 101 (Again)” https://strongwilled.substack.com/p/christian-zionism-101-again “How evangelical theology continues to drive US foreign policy”
Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regarding the USA include:
US Democrats have shown a video of the cognitive decline of the USA’s addled-autocrat-in-charge (AAIC); a call for the US Democrats to do more as a primary result shakes up their - and the other - old guards; a consideration of the possible use of a general strike; the Democratic Senators have obtain a ruling declaring the democracy-killing part of the current bill violates the chambers rules, making it likely to be removed or otherwise certainly challenged - and the revenge tax provision has been removed; a detailed examination of the amateurish, incompetent, ludicrous laying of what appear to be politically timed and purposed charges against a Democratic Congresswoman by an acting Attorney-General; fears that the USA’s addled-autocrat-in-charge will use US involvement in the Israel-Iran war to “centralise even more power and curtail even more civil liberties” - although his supporter base has been split, along with the US Congress and the US Democrats; more non-existent health “research” is being touted; the US attorney-general is blatantly acting like a political operative - thereby undermining that office; one US state governor is taking legal action against what has unofficially been described as effectively being US state media, as another pro-AAIC outlet is given a community note for misleading the public;
the US supreme court has confirmed the king-like status of the USA’s addled-autocrat-in-charge by removing from judges the ability to hold the AAIC to account, beginning with birthright citizenship (and continuing to a misogynistic anti-family decision) - thereby removing any balance between the US federal judiciary and US heads of state ... and the AAIC is also trying to prevent accountability from the what is left of the US congress by cutting off information, and cutting funding for investigation of war crimes such as sexual violence by Russian forces in Ukraine;
§ On migration, border control, rendition, deportations, and associated legal matters, “many Americans are witnessing immigration arrests for the first time and reacting”; ICE has admitted that one of its detainees has died in custody as details emerge of the appalling, degrading abuses imposed on detainees; the US supreme court has decided to allow accelerated renditions; the problem of AI and chatbots feeding fake news about protests in Los Angeles; the current US regime has sued ALL federal judges in one US state in an attempt to impose its will over due process in immigration matters; a state official is being criticised (rightly, IMO!) for calling on gangs to resist ICE; more community resistance;
Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regarding Ukraine/Russia (et al) include:
despite not having formally declared war, Putin has now apparently laid claim to ALL of Ukraine (I have only one source for this very drastic change of stance, so it needs to be taken with some caution - it MAY be a posture for negotiation purposes); Russia is recruiting Central Asian (and other) migrants (and students) as ‘cannon fodder’; North Korea, which is possibly receiving ship building assistance from Russia, will send more troops soon; more than 20,000 Russian soldiers have refused to fight in Ukraine;
the EU has extended existing sanctions but postponed its proposed enhancement of sanctions by lowering the oil price cap in response to the Israel-Iran war (presumably as oil prices are expected to go up [particularly IF the Strait of Hormuz is closed], making the need to lower the cap moot) (and the USA has been inconsistent on the topic of sanctions) - that war may also reduce Russia’s use of drones, and there has been another warning from inside Russia of its perilous economic state - and on drones, “Russia has launched over 28,000 Shahed drones at Ukraine since 2022, with nearly 10% fired in June alone”, and “Russia would never have been able to carry out such drone attacks without support from Iran [and evidence suggests a new Iranian drone technology is being used], and Ukraine, in turn, could not have intercepted most of the drones without the help of its international partners” (and the USA has agreed to provide more Patriot missiles); “a coalition of European Union countries is pushing to bar Russian citizens who participated in the war against Ukraine from entering the Schengen Area, citing serious security concerns”; the Council of Europe and Ukraine have agreed to establish a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine; the very belated realisations of the intractability of achieving peace against Russia is a further demonstration of the incompetence of the USA’s addled-autocrat-in-charge; Ukraine is finally addressing its manpower shortage ... by allowing womanpower;
after an opinion on the overblown arguments being used to try to justify increasing defence spending to 5% of GDP was published, NATO nations have recommitted to the principle of mutual defence and committed to defence spending of 5% of GDP (with an embarrassingly [concerningly] gushy, puerile, and unprofessional message from the NATO chief) - which is as much due to Putin as the USA’s self-congratulatory autocrat-in-charge; Ukraine has asked its allies to reserve 0.25% of their GDP for joint defence production projects; an opinion that NATO got what it wanted out of the USA’s addled-autocrat-in-charge, not the other way round;
hundreds of members of Ukraine’s military have been transferred in response to reports of abuse;
compliance to the wishes of the extreme right at the New York Holocaust Museum; after criticism from Russia that its weapons were being used by Ukraine, Serbia has stopped all arms exports;
after a meeting with the USA’s envoy, Belarus has pardoned and freed a key opposition leader;
- “How 3 years of war have ravaged Ukraine’s forests, and the people who depend on them” https://kyivindependent.com/how-3-years-of-war-have-ravaged-ukraines-forests-and-the-people-who-depend-on-them/ “Nearly 5 million acres have burned since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, ignited by missile fire, artillery shelling, and explosive devices”
On other international affairs/political news matters this week:
Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regarding West Asia include:
A criticism of western nations’ failure to learn from the failures of past military excursions into West and South West Asia - especially the rhetorical mistakes (and an Australian MP has broken ranks to criticise such wars and the “fraying of the rules based order”), and continuing criticism of a major public UK press outlet over its biased (anti-Palestinian) reporting on West Asia; a witness account of what Israel is doing in Gaza; an examination of the differences between rhetoric and actions of all sides; the US aid organisation that came under severe criticism from other aid groups for its initial attempts to deliver aid - which also involved near-daily deadly shootings near distribution points - now claims to be operating “at scale”, but has also admitted that it cannot meet the scale of need; a call for nuance when considering Jewish views; “by suppressing an effort to break the Gaza siege, activists say Egypt has once again prioritised its alignment with Israel and the US over its stated commitments to Palestinian rights”;
Israeli forces are still killing Palestinians seeking aid (“weaponised hunger”) - which has been cut off in northern Gaza again over a claimed theft by H___s that is disputed (could the theft be one of the gangs that Israel is supporting?), and fuel shortages are “life and death” - and nearly 900 Israeli soldiers have been killed; dozens of Israeli colonisers attacked a Palestinian town in the West Bank, and the Israeli military finished that off by killing three Palestinians;
- “EU review finds Israel breached human rights obligations under trade agreement” https://www.jurist.org/news/2025/06/eu-review-finds-israel-breached-human-rights-obligations-under-trade-agreement/ and subsequently “over 110 organisations urge EU to suspend trade agreement with Israel over alleged atrocities”;
- “How Support for Palestine Became a Hate Crime” https://jewishcurrents.org/how-support-for-palestine-became-a-hate-crime “A celebrated civil rights law is being used to target those opposing crimes against humanity—and ruining lives in the process”
On Israel’s war against Iran:
An international law expert’s assessment concludes that Israel’s claims of self defence are unlikely to be legitimate, and a US legal criticism of the failures of the USA’s Congress and supreme court and the other flaws which allowed the USA’s addled-autocrat-in-charge’s “reckless decision” and preliminary vainglorious boasting; Although Israel’s attacks have shown weaknesses of Iran, the Iranian regime is considered unlikely to collapse; Iran’s allies and proxy militias are unlikely to get involved, but Russia (which has withdrawn its scientists from Iran) has warned against assassinating Iran’s religious leader; Israeli support for their war against Iran; a recent earthquake in Iran was NOT nuclear; an assessment of Iran’s nuclear programme; an assessment of the limitations of bunker buster bombs, including the likely defences, as questions continue to be raised about the USA’s addled-autocrat-in-charge’s unfounded claims of destruction ... and intelligence confirms that the attack was largely ineffective; this war is making conditions worse in Afghanistan; Iran has used the war to justify increased repression;
There are likely to be economic consequences from the USA’s attack on Iranian facilities - especially any closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran has threatened to use alleged sleeper cells. With regard to the Strait of Hormuz, an actual shipping expert (who I have been following for some years now) makes some good points - although verging into racism at times: Iran needs the Strait of Hormuz to export its own oil and Israel has stayed away from Iran’s oil facilities (if that changes, so too does the war), Iran’s capability to do anything is limited - especially compared to what happened in the 1990s and noting the difficulty of sinking modern commercial shipping (sea mines are the most significant risk, but minesweepers and other military forces are nearby - I would like to have heard commentary on the risks of torpedo boats and/or military-grade [which the H____i do NOT have] marine drones, though), war risk insurance is nowhere near what it was in the 1990s, and the shipping movements are within normal "taxi-style" (i.e., change course and go to wherever cargo is available) patterns for oil tankers, as opposed to the railway timetable like movements of container ships. Iran has retaliated by an attack against a US military base in the region - but this was similar to one other previous such attack, with plenty of forewarning and a conduct that enabled effective defence, meaning it was for domestic purposes more than any genuine attempt to do harm (which also suggests US sleeper cells may not actually be used - if they exist). Commentary includes this, which verges into jingoism and completely fails to address the issue of both sides’ attacks on civilians (see, for instance, this), but gives what seems a reasonable description of what Iran did. Subsequently, the USA’s autocrat-in-charge’s invented non-existent and not observed ceasefire may have inflamed attitudes and made more attacks likely ... but later Israel and Iran MIGHT have decided to accept it - after its claimed creation, and after a foul mouthed, unpresidential rant from the USA’s clueless-autocrat-in-charge: in any case, a ceasefire appears to be holding ... but the USA’s autocrat-in-charge has cancelled a security briefing that would have presented evidence of the limited physical effect of the US air strikes, which is contrary to and embarrassing for the current US regime;
Iran has suspended cooperation with the IAEA, and is increasing internal repression; Israel has imposed censorship on foreign press; an assessment that the ceasefire (which, as noted, appears to be holding so far - and air travel has resumed) favours Iran more than Israel ... and an assessment that Iran could be destabilised in 18 months or so - and see also this assessment of Iran’s internal problems, an assessment that this could promote peace elsewhere in the region and resumed nuclear talks, an assessment that China could become involved in diplomatic efforts, - talks will be held soon;
this conflict has shown the weakening demand for oil;
“Australia, like Little Sir Echo, whimpers after the world’s premier bully bombs the ‘bully of the Middle East’” in what is a test of our commitment to the USA and/or principles (and the usual warnings about US intelligence bases here making us also a target - I suspect our pro-Israel stance for so long despite the human rights abuses would be more significant than those);
On military events: a description of the details of the USA’s attack; an assessment of the USA’s attack on Iranian facilities; the IAEA says there was no nuclear material at the centrifuge facility struck by Israel;
Cambodia-Thailand border tensions; “at least 16 people have been killed and 400 injured in Kenya as a nationwide demonstration to honour those killed during last year’s anti-government protests turned chaotic, with police clashing with protesters in different parts of the country” - and six people, including three police officers, will be charged with murder (remember: innocent until proven guilty) over the death of a political blogger in custody which sparked the protests last year - and see also this opinion that Kenya’s police violence is colonial and institutional, as well as political; a law society has moved its annual conference from Tanzania to Ethiopia over security concerns related to Tanzania’s coming elections; aid has been blocked from a mountainous region in Sudan where people are living off tree leaves; risks of the war in Sudan destabilising the CAR - where there are concerns about coming elections; China will export rare earth minerals more quickly to the USA as they continue to seek a resolution to the USA’s tariff attack on China;
On human rights matters:
A call to investigate evidence that Russia’s informal military have encouraged grotesque [Content Warning for images in the linked report] human rights abuses in Mali; the Myanmar/Burma junta is using child soldiers; “thousands of migrants including hundreds of unaccompanied children have been kicked out of Algeria and left in the desert without food, water or shoes”; organised crime displaced 1.2 million people in 2024; Việt Nam has abolished the death penalty from eight offences; the moral failure of what happens to children in war; “UN urged to promote global tax cooperation to protect human rights”; the USA has been pulled out of a global vaccine group by its amathiac conspiracy fantasist;
valid and important criticism of an elected trans US representative’s advocacy of appeasement; a UK media platform is continuing its transphobic behaviour; a legal challenge has forced the transphobic official human rights organisation of the UK to reverse its transphobic order about public toilets; a notable new figure has succeeded in a Democratic party primary in the USA - without abandoning trans people;
UK government MPs are rebelling against proposed disability cuts - but only because they fear not being re-elected;
On societal and governance matters:
An experience of (alleged) intimidation at a polling booth during the Australian national election, and a website aimed at ending system harm; a call for Australia to replace a losing ‘war on nicotine’ approach for harm reduction; a legal case over an unlawful termination has exposed managerial “weakness” (cowardice) and questionable conduct, as well as putting a major media platform in a questionable ethical light and reducing social cohesion; a US judge has ruled that training large language machine learning (aka artificial intelligence, or AI) models (LLMs) on copyrighted books is legal under the doctrine of fair use, but AI platforms cannot use pirated materials to train their systems; “More than a decade after Asian and Pacific nations launched a campaign to ensure every life is counted, millions across the region still remain “invisible” – born, living, and dying without formal recognition”; a debunking of lies about the costs of nationalising UK water (the lie is that it would involve taking on debt, which does NOT happen when bankrupt companies are sold;

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).#PsychicABetterWorld and may all that I do be of value and actively BPM used for and by the nonphysical BPM because #KindnessIsThePoint
