Post No. 3,551 - Off topic: my non-blog projects wishlist

In the interests of making sure the Universe knows these are projects I would appreciate the opportunity to do something on (even if it is only making sure someone else knows enough to complete them), this is my current wishlist of projects I would like to complete or pass on (some of these are partially developed on my ideas blog):

• building a small boat using experimentation with layers of angled grains and end grain to spread loads, heating and cooling using circulated air at different pressures, masts that are capable of being lowered at sea for/during storms, launching tubes for try sails/storm jibs, and better layouts for single sailors;

• a square sail rig with intermediary masts to keep braces horizontal so they all change the same amount (yards all the same length) and thus simplify controls, for dinghies initially, and then larger coastal trading vessels also designed to handle shipping containers (including when anchored off islands) and with internal shiftable ballast, water ballast, bow thrusters capable of use at speed, air injection to break down the boundary layer, and solar power;

• better housing - stronger, natural temperature stabilisation (using circulation through the earth, pressure variation of circulated air, double layer roofs, etc), less housework, better control of air quality/noise, etc;

• better furniture for renters - steel framed with timber overlay, able to be wheeled or secured;

• better businesses (see here).

Possible flaws

Where I can, I will try to highlightopossible flaws / issues youoshouldoconsider:

• there mayobe flawedologicaloarguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ freeoonline course “Clear and Present Thinking”;
• I could be wrong - so keep your thinkingocaps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

IMO, OTAAT (“one term at a time”) is the next action to save representative  democracy, along with establishment of an organisation of human-rights observing  democracies as a functional alternative to the UN (especially the veto-sabotaged UN SC), along with all organisations being run using the seven "business" principles listed here, but also note this “Vision for Humanity”

Remember: we generallyoneed to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our Mӕgan, and to acknowledge that all misgenderingois an act of activeotransphobia/transmisiaothat puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptoroto prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
