Remember:   #PsychicABetterWorld   and   ononphysical health, strength and wellbeing

The purposes of this post include:

(1) to provide information, includingonews, which may be of interest, value, or use to Readers;

(2) to identify both BPM and nonBPM opportunities to do the work of this blog (particularly clearing nonBPM nonphysical  units,   BPM  healing,   and   BPM  strengthening of BPM units - the news items helps draw in/helps me find those people and other units in need of any of the help I can provide);   and

(3) to help engage and frameomy emotional, mental, and other nonphysical (psychic, spiritual, Higher Self, BPM  Guides, etc) aspects both for doing my weekly PWR and for doing the work that flows from the PWR - which may also occur for some others.

Some of this post will likely be distressing - hence the content warning, to allow people to choose times they have high energy and/or are in a goodostate to view these, or to ensure they have access to support resources if they may be triggered, or to choose to either temporarily or permanently skip viewing this post or the News sections, as is best for their health and wellbeing.

Within this post, I generally try to identify what is considered “good” news in green, possibly also with green background, but owing to time, energy, and health limitations, may not always be able to do so. Similarly, I generally try to show editorial commentsoby me in this shade of blue (quotes are in this shade of blue) - and for the times I miss doing so, you should keep your thinking cap on.

On the existential climate crisis & nuclear threats and environmental issues  this week:

A new battery storage system in Australia;      Australia's national government agreed to weakened protections against emissions from an extended gas project for rock art;      increasing bushfire risks in Australia and globally;      an opinion piece on “I wanted to know if having a kid on a burning planet was right. I found that antinatalism is seriously taboo   Society has come a long way in making space for maternal ambivalence and the childfree movement, but those frameworks ask whether we want to have children, not whether we should”;

In the global war against f_sc_sm (and “producerism and sociocide)  - whichoisofought wherever we are (note the advice/examples/guidance on resistance here, here, here, here, here, here, here, this [on the efficacy of nonviolent protest], this book, this book, this, and thesethis week:

Humanism as the opposite of fascism;       the problem of losing sight of "the human cost of political choices";      an opinion (which I agree with) that the  sameness  of too many political parties is due to their adoption of neoliberalist economic policies (see this, on the principles of economic justice);      an example of what is needed: human-centred medicine;      “why I gave the world wide web away for free   My vision was based on sharing, not exploitation – and here’s why it’s still worth fighting for;      from a history channel, drawing on the lessons of history, “How Tyrants Rise — and How to Stop Them - W2W 46”;      “rights group warns [AIC] memo on political violence poses risk to democracy;      what appears to be hypocritical behaviour by a billionaire;      “critics say misinformation is a big problem that social media platforms profit from;      violent misogyny and racism in UK police;      an article on industry bosses running UK government departments - and see this on ethically concerning actions by the UK government;      here's how the left can defeat the far right in the UK”;      global youth anger at corruption and underfunded social services;      anti-austerity protests in France;      “where are the humanitarians?   Civil society movements are carrying the mantle of humanitarian values that national and global institutions have all too willingly abandoned;      support for corporate and national accountability;      Australians are concerned about the rise of the far right;

Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regarding the USA and theirofascistoAutocrat-in-Chiefo(AIC), noting this on “a slight change of activist focus”, include:

The fascistoAIC is no longer lying aboutoProjecto2025;

This week's reductio ab absurdum was an expensive and extremely disruptive (and dangerous) meeting of all senior staff of the US military for a CPAC style, divorced-from-reality, insultingprance-about by the defence secretary - and some supplemental ridiculousness and authoritarian threats by the AIC;      the AIC has issued (with no legal authority) EO guaranteeing the security of Qatar (which gave him with a jet recently ... );      "why cult members always look the same";

The forced government shut down - which has seen blatantly political messaging from government departments - may lead to mass resignations;      hate chants at a sporting event;      more suppression of human rights;      more release of evidence of possible CSA - and see also this;

at least 29 US citizens have sought asylum in Australia since the current regime came to power in the USA;

  • Evidence of the AIC’s unsuitability (including mentally) this week include:  thisthisthisthisthis (continuing mental degradation)
  • Lies by theoAIC this week include:  thisthis;
  • Acts ofobullyingoand/ororevengeothis week include:  thisthisthisthis (via the government shutdown)thisthis;
  • Actsooforesistance this week include:  thisthis;

§   On migration, border control, rendition, deportations, and associated legal matters,     more ICE violence against journalists - and other ICE violence has led to a law suit against ICE;      immigration courts are being militarised;

Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regardingoUkraine/Russia (et al) include:

Expert commentary that Ukraine's success against Russia is showing and continuing the inherent strength of democracies over autocracies;      despite Russian claims it does not want to invade Europe, European leaders see the sabotage/hybrid warfare situation (with Russian shadow tankers possibly being used to launch drones - and one being [temporarilyboarded by the French military and legal action commenced against its captain, Ukraine sharing its anti-drone expertise, and consideration of a "no fly" zone [aka "closed skies'] over western Ukraine) as the most critical since  World War (part) Two (even pro-Russia Hungary would shoot down Russian drones in its airspace), and are calling for increased NATO coordination;      Moldova's elections have returned a pro-EU result;      safety fears for Zaporizhzhia and Chernobyl (also this) nuclear power plants;      the USA will give Ukraine intelligence on targets deep in Russia;      “EU funnels $4.7 billion to Ukraine in loan backed by Russian assets;

An assessment that there is a risk Siberia might (at least partially) secede from Russia;       Russia's withdrawal from the anti-torture convention is being seen by Ukraine as confirmation of Russian policy to use torture;      Russia's use of western journalist as propaganda dupes;      Russia is looking to make up for its loss of production by importing fossil fuel from China, South Korea, and Singapore;      Taiwan has become the world's largest importer of fossil fuel derivative and major Russian earner naphtha;

A trafficking ring sending Kenyans to fight for Russia has been broken up;

On other international affairs/political news matters this week:

Items of concern/note (and associated resistance/actions) in/regardingoWest Asiaoinclude:

“Gulf states reevaluate US relationship as Israel replaces Iran as a threat;      An opinion that Israel is committing ecocide to make Gaza unlivable;      Slovenia has imposed a travel ban on Israel's PM, who is subject to charges from the ICC;      criticism of Israel's genocide as different to other mass slaughters and a failure regarding H___s (which called for a cessation of Israel's attack so it could find two hostages - which shows H___s's failure to meet its responsibilities regarding the hostages, as well as either naivete or that it was making a manipulative ploy) and peace;

The USA's increasinglyodementia-addledodeepfakeousing, oanti-democratic, oanti-accountability, oanti-freedomoofoexpression, ostaggeringlyoocorrupt,  ovengefulohatefuloanti-human  rightsoworldooeconomyoodestroying,  elected on a lie, fascistoconvictedorapist, olikelyoCSA (the government  shutdown and refusal to swear in a newly elected representative appear likely - at least in part - to suppress evidence about that), autocrat-in-chief has come up with a plan (perhaps still seeking a Nobel peace prize?) which:   has been criticised as alleviating the humanitarian crisis at the expense of real peace, appealing to Israelis but is fantasy, described as “mere “repackaging of genocide” for Israel’s benefit, has Israel and the Palestinian Authority's support but not - as yet - H___s (TĂĽrkiye and Qatar are pressuring H___s, but H___s want changes - and disarming is [an expected?] sticking point ... but they HAVE AGREED TO RELEASE ALL HOSTAGES), and has the notion of a former UK PM as its head;

Despite the allegedly protective presence of European naval ships, an activist aid flotilla heading to Gaza has been intercepted by Israel in international waters - leading to global protests (see here), strikes, and even closure of a petrol station;

Russia will build nuclear power plants in Iran, which is being re-subjected to sanctions;      Serbia has arrested 11 people over Islamophobic acts in France;

An antisemitic  fatal stabbing t_r r_r_st attack in the UK;

The internet has been shut down in Afghanistan;       “Those responsible for Sudan’s war have no business being involved in the peace   The war is now deemed responsible for the deaths of up to 150,000 people in mass casualty incidents and of over 500,000 people due to hunger;      a far too late approval of a larger force to address the gang problem in Haiti;      police killings have caused anger in part of India against the current government;      Papua New Guinea has now agreed to the Pukpuk mutual defence treaty with Australia;      violent oppression by the new government is driving a Druze region in Syria towards greater autonomy and increased autonomy;

On human rightsomatters:

A wave of executions in Iran;       a warning that returning Rohingya to Burma/Myanmar would be catastrophic;

the problem of female predators (the article addresses why a community missed this: social status, naĂŻve fantasies about female purity, and desires to be looked after all contribute to a social soup where such perversions are ignored/overlooked/enabled);

After a notable compensation victory for the victim of a strip search, NSW police have been urged to stop strip searching young people (I suspect the problem is decisions are being made by cismales who are too incompetent at being human to realise that what they are doing is just sexual abuse, and does NOT intimidate young people into "respecting" their abusers);

Australia's national government agreed to weakened protections against emissions from an extended gas project for rock art;      legal changes may threaten protections for minorities in China;      more xenophobic and racist arguments about immigration in Australia - which is not feeding detained asylum seekers adequately;      a venue refused entry to a man because of a cultural tattoo (this seems fairly clearly racist [subject to responses from the venue/legal action/etc, but it also raises the issue of social norms biasing towards enforced uniformity - which is exactly the sort of bigotry that enables authoritarianism and all the many failings of that);      a burial site is being threatened by a potential foreign funded "upgrade" of a golf course;      “Australia's public health peak body has moved to include an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander body into its structure”;

The problem of anti-LGBTQIA+ bigotry in hypocritical humanitarian aid;      AI has enabled homophobic meddling with a film in China;       violent homophobes have been sentenced to jail;

A Senate enquiry in Australia has warned of “the potentially fatal consequences of what it has labelled a “calculated denial” of services as more than 200,000 elderly Australians remain on waiting lists” (including me, although not for life-critical matters) and said that the “system should be demand driven despite Labor’s dissenting view that this could cause unintended flow-on issues”;

On societal and governanceomatters:

Strikes against proposed 13 hour work days in Greece (this proposal is unutterably cruel, amathiac, and self defeating);      criticism of Australian housing policies that fail to address the cost of housing (is this because of landlord MPs not being excluded from such debates - despite their clearly obvious conflict of interest? Scotland, after a 40 year struggle, has reintroduced controls on some of the egregious abuses of landlords [controls which, along with other actions, have been in place in my home state for some years]);      government whinging after yet another emergency call service failure in Australia ... but no action;      an assessment of why the possibility of a referendum on Australia becoming a republic has been quashed for at least this term (the comprehensive failure of the Voice referendum is also a major issue);      evidentiary support for WFH;      in a move described as psychologically unsettling (and for which the targets may no longer have records), the ATO “is pursuing a new batch of taxpayers over decades-old debts, drawing comparisons to its widely criticised and suspended “robotax” initiative”;      Australia's futures fund is profiteering off war;

From a spiritual perspective:   be honest about the state of things - including both good and bad

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, to mind our MÓ•gan, and to acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk & accept that all insistence on the use of “trans” as a descriptor comes with commensurate use of “cis” as a descriptor to prevent “othering” (just as binary gendered [men’s and women’s] sporting teams are either both given the gender descriptor, or neither).
