Post No. 3,023 - Reflections on the past week, and some interesting reading/viewing [Note: Content Warning - links to reports on/discussion of oppression/bigotry/hate, violence/abuse/war. Reader discretion is advised]

The purposes of this post are:   

(1) to provide information, including news, which may be of interest, value, or use to Readers;   

(2) to identify both BPM and nonBPM opportunities to do the work of this blog (particularly clearing nonBPM nonphysical  units,   BPM  healing,   and   BPM  strengthening of BPM units);   and   

(3) to help engage and frame my emotional, mental, and other nonphysical (psychic, spiritual, Higher Self, BPM  Guides, etc) aspects both for doing my weekly PWR and for doing the work that flows from the PWR - which may also occur for some others. 

Some of the news information will likely be distressing - hence the content warning, to allow people to choose times they have high energy and/or are in a good state to view these, or to ensure they have access to support resources if they may be triggered, or to choose to either temporarily or permanently skip viewing this post or the “News” and/or “On the resistance to the reign of Tr_ mp 2.Ø” sections, as is best for their health and wellbeing. 

Within the news section, I generally try to identify what is considered “good” news in green, possibly also with green background, but owing to time, energy, and health limitations, may not always be able to do so.

On the existential climate crisis this week:      “the pace of global heating has been significantly underestimated, according to renowned climate scientist Prof James Hansen, who said the international 2°C target is “dead”” - other scientists disagree;   the Arctic has reached melting point temperatures, 20°C above normal;      M_ sk is now trying to destroy NOAA;      _  

 

In the global war against the radical right/f_s c_sm this week (and for links on what can be done - now, see here [Indivisible] and Dem-Optimism and this [Robert Reich] and this [AOC] and this [Devon Price] and this [PBS Voices] and this [on burnout] and this [efficacy of nonviolent protest] and this book and this book and these links ):     

  • “Tr_ mp Makes FATAL DECISION as world UNITED AGAINST HIM”   https://youtu.be/21M0iAzci70   “MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas reports on fed up world leaders turning against Tr_ mp and preparing for the worst”   The worst being war - i.e., military preparations are being made against this bullying thug - and a former Tr_ mp aide has called for the US 25th amendment to be used against him;         a call to be “more mindful of what we tell M_ g_ to go ahead and do” after a christo-fascist priest was defrocked for using a n_ z_ salute;         
  • the Tr_ mp regime has accepted the 5th restraining order brought against it, on the M_ sk invasion of the US government's sensitive records and payments systems - and there is division between Tr_ mp and M_ sk as the latter loses support;   
  • a debunking of viral images that falsely were claimed to show ICE arrests - and of lies about the Panama Canal from a Tr_ mp acolyte as Tr_ mp persists with an already debunked conspiracy fantasy (see also this);         a description of Tr_ mp’s disregard for the USA’s constitution as ‘a blitzkrieg on the law’;         the acting FBI Director is resisting Tr_ mp’s demands - and see also this and this ... and the DOJ has now given up;         legal action includes this and this;         more on the Pravdaisation of US media - specifically, attacks on independent media, and the resistance;   the next target of M_ sk is planning protests and resistance;         a belated attempt by US Democrats to stop M_ sk’s coup of the US Treasury systems;      a doctor is resisting the attempts to harm trans youth;      another judge has ordered a stop to Tr_ mp’s attempt to illegally end birthright citizenship - and another;      Tr_ mp’s DOJ is getting laughed at by courts;      support for trans people in this and by this judge blocking the transfer of transwomen to male prisons;         the backlash against ending US AID is growing;         the opposition to Tr_ mp is growing: ‘Be angry, but don’t give up’;      international law says Tr_ mp cannot take over Greenland;        
  • a far right extremist group in the USA has lost the right to their name for failing to pay a fine imposed on them; 

And in Australia,      Australia has imposed counter t_rr_r_sm sanctions on an online n__-n_ z_ group;         a disturbing example of an error about asylum-seeker visa misinformation leading to viral hate from conservatives;         Peter Dutton is aping the radical right playbook used in the USA (and becoming a Tr_ mp sycophant) by threatening to axe DEI public service positions, which I personally consider to be an act of bigotry (and see also this), and praising Tr_ mp.   Note also that Dutton’s nuclear fantasy has been criticised (‘No idea what he’s talking about’) by experts (and there is this satire).         And a call to “ditch the illusion that the US will return to normal and instead become more self-reliant”.        

There is also a reflection here on the toll on those trying to do what should be done.

Overall/in summary,   it is good that some strong action is FINALLY being taken (except by the US Democrats), but the initial cluelessness and hand wringing in the face of the unfamiliar (FBU) is staggering (especially in light of the prolonged warnings beforehand), and shows the utter stupidity of relying on conventions, ignoring uncomfortable warnings, appeasing bullies, and outsourcing sovereignty/responsibility/competence. 

Ultimately, the greatest concerns for this week have been the functional coup in the USA committed by M_ sk, and the continuing attacks by Tr_ mp on peace, accountability, and inequity.    


Regarding Tr_ mp this week:     

  • Only 1% of Federal employees have taken the buyout (now extended to CIA employees) as threats are made to jail employees who are “disloyal” to King Tr_ mp;  
  • Tr_ mp has dismantled the group applying sanctions against his Russian oligarchic buddies (handlers?);

Buyer’s regret this week includes:      black voters for Tr_ mp - whose leader made a meaningless and amathiac threat to “withdraw support”, something that is utterly pointless as they already voted for him and that was the limit of their sought after involvement;       the FBI and law enforcement;      Venezuelans;      and   Arab-Americans.     

Concerns about Tr_ mp’s mental state this week includes:   this;   this;   this (why is so much of the US Pravdaised media still ignoring Tr_ mp’s mental state?);   this;   this;   this;   this.   But see also this assessment, which finds the current make up of the US Congress is such that Tr_ mp sock puppets have the numbers to prevent the USA’s 25th Amendment being invoked.

There has been an interesting assessment of the consequences of what the Tr_ mp - M_ sk regime is doing here (with a comment that the main hope out of all this is the rest of the world sees how bad this is, and wisely decides to refrain from voting any other radical right governments into power).   My main concern is a three part one:   (1) how many people will wind up homeless,   (2) how many of those people will starve to death or die of disease, police violence/brutality, or bigotry on the streets,   and   (3) how many Pravdaised media outlets will cover that up.   It is going to be the  Great  Depression and the  Dust  Bowl all over again, but with only a few press outlets of any use - and major questions about the US Democrat’s usefulness/uselessness.

Overall/in summary,   people are slowly realising their mistakes, but Pravdaisation of media is a problem, as well as the amathia/incompetence of actions such as deleting pages about FINANCIAL equity because they contain the word equity ... although that is helping to destroy the façade of competence. There has also been, as mentioned above, a great deal of pushback - and that is increasing.

 

Also in the USA this week, we have:      the Pentagon has Pravdaised newspaper access as the US Department of Transportation implements Project 2025 by prioritising funding on the basis of heterosexual-patriarchal marriage and higher birth rates (see also here);      and   the latest version of a missile defence system is as dangerous as the first.

And a bear who hid under a home to survive the southern California bushfires has been rescued.       

 

This week the Israel-Palestine war has seen:      

  • more than a million Gazans have now received aid since the ceasefire commenced, and the Rafah border crossing has been reopened, including to medical cases and evacuations, which is a move that “cannot be underestimated – it hints at success for Gaza ceasefire”   (although violence in the West Bank was undermining the ceasefire).     
    That was until Tr_ mp blew everything up ...     which I have written about in here.   The main hope now is that the time that would be required for King Tr_ mp’s toy soldiers to carry out his bidding will enable others to bring sanity to the situation (and Saudi Arabia appears to have done that); 
  • Israeli operations in the West Bank are starting to look like a smaller version of what happened in Gaza ... is another complete ethnic cleansing by that apartheid nation getting underway? (if yes, I hope it is remembered that H___s enabled this to start!!!);

in Australia, this report outlines the basis for considering the wave of antisemitic attacks is being implemented by people who are being directed;      and   there have been revelations of death threats against a journalist for making statements in support of Palestine - and an admission that Australia is a racist nation.


In other international news:      there have been revelations that the rebel & Rwandan attack against the city of Goma in the DRC led to thousands of cismale prisoners escaping and raping and burning to death HUNDREDS of women;      Ukraine’s President has said he is willing to start talks towards ending the war   (Tr_ mp’s latest fantasy about “stopping” Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine involves bullying the entire world by fiddling with oil prices);      an assessment of Europe’s security future identifies as important “what happens with the war in Ukraine matters beyond its borders, as events there will shape the larger standoff between Russia and the West”, and the necessity of reducing reliance on the USA;      concerns that a fire on a Russian spy ship is an indication that Russia’s Mediterranean fleet is “in a state of disrepair and disarray”;      and   “The EU is under mounting pressure to suspend a controversial minerals deal with Rwanda that has been blamed for fuelling the conflict in the east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo”.


In human rights news:         concerns about the misogynistic history of the new Syrian regime;         my home state has pledged support for trans people as more concerns are expressed by professionals about Qld's life threatening actions against trans kids and another group fails to understand the trauma that uniforms cause the victims of (past) abuse by uniformed persons and pulls out of Pride and Qld continues to ignore expert advice and put trans children’s wellbeing and life at risk (see also the links here, which include appalling abuse by a transphobe [and questionable conduct by a local court]);      trans Americans are looking to Canada (again);      “The International Criminal Court has recognised that in Afghanistan women, girls, and the LGBTQI+ community are facing an “unprecedented, unconscionable and ongoing” persecution by the Taliban”;         police issues have cropped up, with a NSW Police sergeant allowed to get away with what was in effect pornographic and work conditions abuse of a colleague with only a warning,   and   an enquiry found eight police in WA failed to do their duty, which enabled the murder of two women;         a warning that only Federal intervention will stop the abuses (that will cause further criminality) being committed in youth detention systems - and NT jail conditions have been referred to the UN;         anger is growing at Italy’s far right wing Prime Minister over returning a wanted Libyan criminal, which is being seen as Italy showing itself as weaker than Libya and vulnerable to pressure, although the PM is also considered to have a poor relationship with Italy’s judiciary;         the problems of r_ pe myths and cultural incompetence in Australian courts when handling sexual assault cases - and this appalling green lighting of a form of r_ pe;         disappointment at the lack of change from #MeToo (I consider some change did happen, but there is clearly a need for more - but inadequate punishment is a problem);         “a senior Taliban minister who expressed support for reversing the ban on girls’ education in Afghanistan appears to have been forced to flee the country”;         a US prison gynaecologist has been accused of ‘horrific’ abuse of patients in a class action lawsuit;         in a relief from the white supremacist moves in Aotearoa/New Zealand, a mountain has been granted legal personhood;         “ABC union members say legal argument around existence of Lebanese race ‘destroys any hope’ that broadcaster intends to address alleged systemic racism” - see also this;         the USA has continued and escalated its efforts to prevent the ICC enforcing accountability on the USA for human rights abuses by applying economic sanctions;         a National Indigenous Times exclusive reports that the National Child Commissioner was prevented from entering youth prisons in Victoria and Western Australia during a national tour in 2023;         and the US White House is acting to enforce pro-neochristian/christo-fascist bias.  

Also, an article has pointed out the low political consequences for dumping on the vulnerable who need DEI,  and another unnuanced has completely ignored the benefits that DEI does provides to argue for focusing on another issue that DOES NOT ADDRESS BIGOTRY AND DISCRIMINATION (financial/wealth equity/equality does NOT guarantee nor even address issues of hate, social status, etc).


In societal and governance matters:      a proposal has been made to treat home insurance as an essential service, given those who do not have that (and it is often given up in times of hardship) are apparently more likely to risk their lives in bushfires (and building better homes in better locations would also help);      and   an excellent opinion piece about young people being great because they are “really ‘marshmellows’ who refuse to put work first?” - which is an attitude I wholeheartedly endorse, and have myself lived as best I can.  


From a spiritual perspective,     people are learning to resist, but I suspect they have not yet learned the importance of mature self reliance on matters of governance and sovereignty - including self defence and economic matters, let alone the importance of ensuring human rights & dignity and equity to have a healthy, functional, caring community for all. 

It should be noted that such lesson apply as equally to the personal as well as the political. 

Another key lesson is being able to adapt to overwhelming change, even if that means one must defer or even abandon cherished goals, for the sake of the Greater Good.

 

 

On the resistance to the reign of Tr_ mp 2.Ø the global war against the radical right:

The history of control (especially social conditioning and the changes that were forced by enclosures, and the maintenance of the evil of social status), forced hierarchies of abuse, sexual abuse and misogyny also including the exclusion & infantilisation of women, that waged jobs were considered a form of slavery for the first couple of centuries of their existence, and growing workers (especially in nuclear families raised with a so-called protestant work ethic) for the upper class (and the problem of changed social circumstances meaning people have no reason to become conservative as they age, combined with conservatives losing arguments, leading to fascistic action to enforce more control over society - especially the worker class) is staggering ... and then there is the problem of people forgetting how things really were aka the lessons of history ...
