Post No. 3,026 - This week’s King Tr_ mp specials: a very unChristian christo-fascist takeover, a threat to the rule of law, a threat to the Gaza ceasefire, and Ukraine ...

It is looking like I am going to have to have a weekly feature on urgent matters associated with the King Tr_ mp-President M_ sk regime that need a particular focus from the work of this blog. 


Tomorrow’s reflections post will include information on troubling events in the USA and Russia regarding Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine. That story is still developing, so I have decided not include it here, but it is one that those doing the work of this blog should be aware of. 


This week’s issues are: 

The very unChristian  christo-fascist takeover of White House:

The threat to the rule of law: 

For a bit of extra context, last week’s reflection post included these:

Overall/in summary,   it is good that some strong action is FINALLY being taken (except by the US Democrats), but the initial cluelessness and hand wringing in the face of the unfamiliar (FBU) is staggering (especially in light of the prolonged warnings beforehand), and shows the utter stupidity of relying on conventions, ignoring uncomfortable warnings, appeasing bullies, and outsourcing sovereignty/responsibility/competence. 

Ultimately, the greatest concerns for this week have been the functional coup in the USA committed by M_ sk, and the continuing attacks by Tr_ mp on peace, accountability, and inequity.    



The possible ending of the ceasefire in Gaza:

This is being brought forward owing to the speed and seriousness of events.   Firstly, as a comment (personal opinion), Tr_ mp seems to me to be behaving like a soulless, poison-hearted property developer with no understanding, let alone caring (and definitely no love) for the land that sustains us: to such people the land doesn’t matter at all, just the “sellability” of whatever has been done to it ... and that is the approach of colonisers/imperialists throughout history when destroying Indigenous cultures so that the colonisers/imperialists/soulless property developers can make money ... .

Possible flaws 

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider: 

  • there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”;  
  • I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.
