I have realised myoAuDHD made me being an accepted “traditional” / “normal” large scaleoleader impossible. I amogood at (and have done this) leading a small scale, and once - decades ago, before the most prolonged of the severeotrauma I have experienced - did so on a regionally significant scale, but I have struggled with life since. 

Now, I need help to, in particular, manage some of my AuDHDoweaknesses (counsellingohas got the traumaounder reasonable - not perfect - control ... enough for me to get by, if not thrive), and there is none to be found ... 

And there are many others who have been robbed of their potential - more so than me, in many cases - by our aggressively over-commercialised, hierarchical, cultified work patterns.

Post No. 3,480 - More on, or starting from, the UFO field [CW - SA, CSA, Jeffrey E type references]

Again this week, I have more (more in terms of length of commentary on articles than the number of articles) on this topic than I consider should be included in my regular reading post - and this material also justifies attention being drawn to it. 

Before reading this post, I suggest you take note of my comments in:

Now, addressing any form of discrimination (bigotry!) requires action on a wide range of levels, from changing laws to prevent harm and then again to promote benefit, through changing attitudes (going, again, from do no harm to anti-the form of bigotry) and habits and behaviours and systems, to calling wrongful behaviour/actions out. 

As an example from another area of life, littering used to be done without thinking in my nation (Australia) until a few decades ago, but now is socially unacceptable and is called out - or even reported, in some cases.  

Similarly wearing seatbelts has become the norm, and drink driving is so anti the norm I am amazed anyone still does it.  

Going to common forms of sexism, something I have written about from the time before I retired is calling out sexist behaviour in meetings - such as a male colleague who appropriated a female colleague’s suggestion without naming her, and then tried to claim he was supporting it - something which was only done for male colleagues by naming them in the alleged “support”, so I flat out contradicted him and called it for BS. 

A similar, also insidious problem is referring to women more disparagingly than men. 

As an example, a well known experiencer who has done an enormous amount for the UAP/UFO/ET/experiencer field recently wrote about a female journalist (who had extensive experience at newspapers of record before working as an independent as the mainstream media declined) making “claims” about having experienced a directed energy weapon attack after, in the same article, discussing “reports” by a newspaper about physical evidence written about in a way to infer it was evidence of a similar directed energy weapon attack that the female victim “believed” (!) she had undergone. 

A few days earlier, a male whistleblower had been described as “reaffirming” his claims - also referred to using words such as “said” and “argued”, although noting that the “assertions” were controversial and unsupported by any new evidence. A separate earlier article about the whistleblower used terms such as “statements”. To be accurate, both articles also used the word claims in relation to the whistleblower, but words such as belief are commonly used to weaken the credibility of women, and the use of “claims” after so clearly inferring physical evidence may have been found of a directed energy weapon attack, evidence which has not been presented by the whistleblower, suggests the author may be using, unconsciously, common social patterns of discrimination. 

I’m not going to name the author I am referring to, nor provide links, as it is wrong to focus on them when this problematic discriminatory behaviour is used unthinkingly by so many others - especially when they are trying to present a patina of scientific “respectability”. 

Perhaps more importantly, when faced with massive problems of discrimination it can be helpful to have something that one can act on. 

But given the bigger scale of this problem (note the next item!), it is important to act on the small acts of sexism as well - after all, changing that may require sufficient reinforcement to change a lifetime’s worth of habits ...  

 

 

Sexual assault/abuse, coverups, abuse of power/mental manipulation/Jeffrey E types wrongs: 

Content Warning: SA, CSA< Jeffrey E atrocities   “In Starlight Sickness, Kelly traces the strange lineage between Freud’s abandonment of the seduction theory, Bernays’s engineering of consent, and the ways power moves harm out of view by relocating it into the minds of the harmed.”   IMO, this material (or most of it) should be taught to everyone - the change of Freud’s views to protect himself from legal accountability was new to me, but the evil of Bernays is something I have known for years, and tried unsuccessfully advocating things like teaching critical thinking, rhetoric, etc as a counter   I now have more to think about …

[1:40:15] The task was compare and contrast our psychic ability with the ET psychic ability. ... the end result of that study that I did, I had already found out that you can divide psychically the ETs into four different groups. Uh there’s not us and them. There’s us and them and them and them and them and them. And uh you can cut them into four different groups. Friends and enemies, and those who have more psychic ability than we have, and those who are equal or less psychic than we are. The enemies who are equal or less than we are try to stay away from here. They don’t like us. Okay. The friends who are less or equal to us psychically come here for trade. And the ones who are more psychic than we are and friends want us to become psychic. The ones who are enemies and more psychic than we are don’t want us off this planet - they’d be very happy to just wipe the planet off, you know, kill all humans, period. And I couldn’t figure out why. And this one um this one event that I got the record of, there were three guys camping at a lake and they it was nighttime. They saw a UFO come and they were standing there on the lake looking at it. It came up right over them and all of a sudden they couldn’t move. They were frozen and they got abducted. And there was something about that that uh sort of just made everything that I had studied before that fall together. And that is that those ETs had much more psychic ability than the humans, but no range. They had to be right over them in order to do anything. With the remote viewing, we can see across space and time like looking across the room at stove or something, you know, no different. If we develop our psychic ability, when we get out into space, we are going to be a power in the universe because we can see way into the future, anywhere in space and all that. And evidently they can’t. And so we have that ability. That’s why our friends want us out there and our enemies don’t want us off this planet. ...”   

I am always pleasantly surprised by the level headedness of people like Lyn Buchanan, and this had some interesting (and some concerning [IN RESPONSE TO WHICH, I RECOMMEND, DEAR READER, THAT YOU LEARN THE TECHNIQUES OF THE WORK OF THIS BLOG - PROTECTION IN PARTICULAR] - and some that I have doubts about) info in it and was reasonable as a get-to-know-Lyn interview, although it was extremely long (mini-series length, at just over 3 hours), and my interests ... weren’t along the same line as the interviewer.
