Post No. 2,619 - A thought: could ETs predominantly be neurodivergent (not the stereotypes - the form of ND often missed, particularly in female adults)?

This post is just to anchor a speculation in this reality while I explore the basics and the nuances of the thought for a possible future thought (although I will suggest it to one UFO/UAP researcher)

The key points are:

   Neurodivergent (ND) people

  • the increasing, belated recognition that many women and adults are neurodivergent (ND) has shone a harsh light on the stereotypes of ND people - especially film (mis)portrayals, with wrong ideas including (from sources such as the YouTube video You’re Not Autistic! 65 Reasons You Can’t Be Autistic” on the channelAutism from the Inside”)
    • ND people do not feel empathy or emotions, which is wrong on both counts: ND people often struggle because of being overwhelmed by strong empathy and other emotions;
    • ND people are supposed to look like Rainman and have savant skills (sigh) or not understand sarcasm (wrong)
    • having a job, can hold a conversation, can socialise - which is often the case, but will generally need to be balanced by time and circumstances that allow decompressing - are supposedly beyond the capacity of ND people (wrong)
  • but ND people can (these are not universal)
    • learn quickly, have hyperfocus and react strongly when that is interrupted;
    • seem distant or unreadable - particularly with regard to facial expressions, causing an uncanny valley effect;
    • hate violence and may shut down when confronted with it;
    • dont buy into social norms simply because they exist, which makes it easier to do things like reform animal welfare (Temple Grandin) or lead a movement against the climate crisis (Greta Thunberg).

   Extraterrestrials (ET)

  • most ETs abhor violence, advocate for a better world rather than sticking to social norms, are concerned about the climate crisis and nuclear risks & threats;
  • can seem distant or unreadable - particularly with regard to facial expressions;
  • dont always communicate effectively;
  • can be hyperfocused and/or react strongly if a task is interrupted (this was the characteristic that got me thinking about this possibility).

Of course, what I am noticing may simply be a coincidence, or an outcome of being more advanced and/or evolved. In any case, what I am wondering about is:

Could what we regard as neurodivergence be (not the stereotypes - the form of ND often missed, particularly in highly masked female adults) the predominant way of thinking in advanced ET cultures, rather than what this society considers neurotypical?

How does that influence the history of interactions between humans and ETs - particularly over the last 150 years or so?

Anyway, Ill try to find some energy to explore this idea further ...

Possible flaws

Where I can, I will try to highlight possible flaws / issues you should consider:

  • there may be flawed logical arguments in the above: to find out more about such flaws and thinking generally, I recommend Brendan  Myers’ free online course “Clear and Present Thinking”
  • I could be wrong - so keep your thinking caps on, and make up your own minds for yourself.

Remember: we generally need to be more human being rather than human doing, and to mind our Mӕgan, and acknowledge that all misgendering is an act of active transphobia/transmisia that puts trans+ lives at risk.
